《Colonial History》Conclusive Evaluations

The final assessments to add to the final trade partnership evaluation rating, are based in terms of the learned history between each three classes of sentient beings making up the Eas-Enerang Apiary. Two other classes within the Apiary’s domain are excluded for the reasons summarized below:

Surts

Alarmingly narrow focus Extremely dangerous No other interests other than seeing all other beings as a means to replicate or an obstacle to the former No respect No reason Ecologically carcinogenic species that will take any advantage to expand

* If it was not for this expansion being kept secluded to a limited area on a single planet, I would have urgently suggested a deep cleansing of the host planet. It would be too much of a galactic risk to let this species continue existing unchecked.

Sentient A.I.

Only well-documented population is the Blackguard on Tir-Torzor Blackguard extremely territorial against sentient organic lifeforms

* It is difficult to tell the extent of sentience for many other A.I. across the Apiary, as they could be circumscribed by safeguards or feigning the lack of sentience to avoid termination.

Here are my final assessments of each of the three classes:

Anuh-Kaj

The dominant, hivemind-like species and founding culture of the Apiary, they have just begun their own galactic empire relatively not long ago to avoid their planet’s bimillennial devastation. Their first planet unwittingly claimed for expansion was still populated by two struggling native peoples. Finding themselves in a position of dominance over these natives – rather than trying to develop a suitable balance between interests and progress of all three parties – instead, exploited rifts and bad habits to largely benefit anuh-kaj interests. This resulted in societies that left many natives in squalor, sickness, and strife. The Anuh-Kaj have improved in their compassion towards other beings since, but many still hold fears of losing power. However, all understand there are forms of power that are not worth tapping into. Having this in mind, we likely will not have to worry about them intentionally manufacturing and using anything with apocalyptic potential. With no natural ability to lie, they find ways to achieve acts of dishonesty without having to do so themselves for the most part. Since they are mostly found in positions of administration and bureaucracy, negotiations should best be conducted face-to-face only without non-anuh-kaj assistance present. It will be difficult enough already to listen carefully to any literalisms and semantics they might attempt to use to take advantage.

Cetaceans

The most powerful in terms of physically authoritative strength throughout the Apiary. Originally an aquatic people of different species, they were widely abused and killed by the Humans pre-plague. The Anuh-Kaj equipped this naturally aquatic class with high-tech armor and weapons, to give them all-terrain abilities. In exchange to act as the Apiary’s law enforcement and elite fighting force, they were promised an uninhabited planet to colonize as their new home. From the time the agreement was made, the Cetaceans bullied the Humans and occasionally the Anuh-Kaj. There have been attempts by the class’s own members to challenge their rigid hierarchy and traditions, but they are mercilessly quashed by the others. Should we trade with Eas-Enerang, we may have to consider any supposed roles the Cetaceans may insert themselves into and how much influence they might yield over talks.

Humans

The Apiary’s most numerous yet least empowered minority group. Originally the dominant people of their home, havoc was wreaked on their own ecosystem and species primarily under mass manipulation by a powerful few. Despite objections and active resistance by other humans, this generally continued unabated until aliens – known as the Minare – conquered the planet prior to the Anuh-Kaj arrival. The interference of the Minare later resulted in a hybridized subset – known as the Huwaty – who are included under the Human class due to still sharing a substantial portion of DNA. Unlike the other two classes of the Apiary, there are many various cultures within. They can range from the worldly-conscious, forward-thinking, and altruistic, to the willfully ignorant, shortsighted, and despicable. The latter is because an unfortunate number of these people lack a sense of self-reflection and have the strangest inclination to allow themselves to be easily led astray to the point where they can even go as far as opposing their own interests. Out of the three classes, they would be the most unpredictable in trade talks should they ever be present. Individuals involved in talks should have their backgrounds subjected to the most thorough reviews on a case-by-case basis to determine the level of conversational caution.

Concluding Average and Summary

60% Compatibility

Should were establish interplanetary trade relations with the Apiary, I recommend we only trade in sustenance and medical innovations. If we do, we must make sure the ones in charge keep what we give openly available to everyone. We should also participate in cultural exchanges and special programs. Doing so could be used to provide needed services to the marginalized like the emancipation of competent underaged individuals, and access to DNA-combo cloning for responsible infertile couples. If there is one thing we must do, it is to pave a way for many marginalized refugees to be granted asylum outside of the Apiary. Permanent residence for them will have to be a slow case-by-case process due to the intentions of the far more destructive individuals, but it would be the least we could do for some of the most vulnerable. Doing otherwise with the knowledge of what would happen to them without aid would be cruel.

Overall, the Apiary should be traded with on a very limited basis and not be considered for Zeflopidian Galactic Collective membership.

* Compatibility ratings within this context are akin to a rating system that utilizes a form of human alphabet, assigning a letter to match a range of percentiles. In this case, the Apiary has achieved a grade equivalent to “barely passing”.
