Now, for a bit of information about me.
As of late, I've been working really long shifts that keep me away from home 14 hours a day, four times a week. Juggling that with my real life responsibilities, I get slim opportunities to actually write. Despite this, I still want to provide the highest quality stories for everyone to read!
Currently, I'm planning and working on a novella, which will act as a good transition between part 1 and 2 of the story! Hopefully in mid-may, I'll be able to start posting some chapters of this early for everyone to see!
I love writing, and want to give it the time, care, and passion it really deserves to make Once in a Lifetime flourish. It's hard to promote because my usual posting schedule, so the last I ask is that if you know anyone who might be interested in this story, please do share it around! The mad scientist, same one that gave me my near indestructible body, shoved me through a portal to another world. I’m meant to right a wrong his father may have set in motion. I owe the guy my life so I won't complain. But the planet is alive and trying to ‘assimulate’ me into its system and wants my help. Something dark is festering just beneath its surface and corrupting anything it touches...including the locals and when the locals range from elves to spider people to freaking dragon woman that aren’t too happy with the human population, the last thing they need is a corrupting touch. Well, you can take the boy out of Dockside but you can’t take the Dockside out of the boy. It’s time to tuck that chin and raise those hands. Meeting myself
Canceled (This was my first attempt at a story and while I really enjoyed it, I lost track of the thread of the story. The MC was too op, and except for some fun slice of life moments it just wasn't a very good plot. Anyway, I may come back and re-write this in the future because I really enjoyed the premise, but for now don't expect updates.)I've never met Karma; or at least I think I haven't. Hope, really, because I'm pretty sure she hates me. You see, the thing is, I've always hated flying. When you don't wind up getting molested (cavity searched), then your bags get lost, or you spend the entire flight sitting next to a crying baby. This flight was even worse than any of those things. You see, this flight killed me. I won't spoil it, but lets just say, Karma owes me a few explanations. NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, deserves to die like that. Of course, that wasn't the end of my adventure, far from it. But, you'll just have to read the story to learn about that.(This is a mature fiction, so far their hasn't been anything overtly bad (some minor sexual innuendo and drug use), but their will be plenty of blood, gore, sex, all that good stuff... eventually)
