《The Nameless Warrior *New Cover*》All The Other Odions (Author's Note)

So...Fie Eoin is finished. Or rather, The Nameless Warrior is finished. 21 years, Aledans. It's a really weird feeling.
I'm still working on what I might want to do with the book now - learn how to format it and make it into an actual book-shaped thing? Not worry about that one bit because godsIdontwanttolearnanotherbookshapedthing? I'm gonna keep mulling it over for now.
There is a second book in the works (actually, there's four books total, so whee!). The second book is tentatively called The Daughter Of Eoin, and while Kindra and Kaye play a big part, it's Karigan Odion and her twin brother, Andric, who get the majority of the spotlight in that one. If you liked Kindra you're gonna LOVE Karigan!
There's also a third and fourth book planned. The third is twin brothers, Hemlock and Barracuda Odion, and the fourth is a prequel of Ian the Odion (known as Ian the Twin because of his two-faced nature ;) )
I could also write a whole book about Fennec Odion and Kaye Conal, but I won't do that. I have written short stories about Aleda (who was deified for her actions), and Faye and Tarrin (who's names survived in a slightly different way), but those are...depressing.
Aleda's short story will come first. Get the tissues ;)
For now, I plan the same format for the rest of the series as the original: posting for free bi-weekly on Wattpad, Royal Road, and Patreon. Based on the length of FE, that should keep me posting for YEARS.
For now, though, it's time for a little break, and reading other people's words instead of my own. I have a tbr that makes me tremble! I'm also reopening to query/synopsis/first pages critiques, so I'm hoping to help a few folks along the way.
Thank you for sticking with me (and Kindra) for the past thirteen months. I hope you enjoyed the book, and are looking forward to what's to come :)

I Am the God of Games
This is the tale of an earthling, who transmigrated as a dying third-rate god but somehow rose through the ranks, gaining followers and eventually causing the Fourth Great Apocalypse. ☆ "Have you ever heard of the God of Games?" "The God of Games..?" Eleena shook her head in puzzlement. "I have never heard of Him…" "What if the God of Games could give you the power to defeat your enemies?" Xi Wei coaxed patiently. Eleena remained silent for a while, before resolutely lifting her head and fixing her gaze on Xi Wei. "Then I am willing to become a believer of the God of Games!" "Belief isn't something to only be spoken by mouth. Close your eyes and envision His name in your mind, and feel His power with your heart," he said solemnly. "O Master of Games, grant us new life!"

Empathic capacity of a teaspoon
Reincarnating with the gamer interface was all a part of the plan, being reborn as Ron Weasley not so much. It was something I could work with, sure. Magic is great! But as I would soon learn, it had the tendency of introducing a plethora of other issues.

Blood & Noodles
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] As they always have, humanity hunts the gods roaming the world, craving the supernatural power that flows within their veins. Even a drop is zealously guarded, passed from master to student through the ages. It is with this stolen power that the Blooded - those with divine blood coursing through them - grasp beyond mortality and achieve prestige, power, and greatness. Yet, for every fraction of power gained, thousands perish, slain by the gods' supernatural prowess. But everything is beginning to change. Eight years ago, for the first time in human memory, a god was felled. Part-time chef and full-time nuisance Orvi wants nothing to do with gods. Living in a derelict city, his only concerns are ensuring his adopted family's restaurant is prosperous and how to best beat the neighbourhood boys in a fight. If he's lucky, he might even snag a date with the farmer's daughter at the market. But even though he cares nothing for the gods or their blood, the world won't leave him alone forever. Because to reach godhood, one must first leave their humanity behind. *** The first arc of Blood & Noodles follows the adolescent Orvi as he attempts to navigate his rapidly changing home and - by his own definition - protect his family. The story is told almost entirely in the first-person, from the perspective of a teenager who isn't always the sharpest tool in the shed. There are tragic elements, especially in the current arc. It's character-focused and driven, though the protagonist's shenanigans are backdropped by a world operating independently from him. Orvi's a generally light-hearted character, and though the story veers into darker territory, I also want it to be able to make readers smile. Action sequences, despite the fantastical elements, are meant to be grounded and clearly-conveyed; Orvi is a brawler, not a warrior. I'm trying to write a story that's enjoyable to read and flows nicely, mainly because it's more fun to write. I'm also trying to improve my writing, so any feedback, whether positive or negative, is welcome!
