《Wang Zen: Curse of Silver Eyes》V2 Chapter 52: Don’t Do Anything Stupid

Yi Nou yelped, falling onto her butt as Shibi went crazy. She crawled on her butt, away from the raging gorilla.
A plume of fire came out of Shibi’s mouth while roaring, his body glowing like an ember in the wind. Lu Lao summoned her twin swords from her storage stone. Dandan prepared to use her earth technique in preparation for Shibi’s attack.
“Wait!” Chun said, stepping in front of Shibi, with hands raised. “Shibi, we’re friends. Remember us? We work with Zen.”
“Zen?” Shibi looked around. His breathing calming down a little but his killing intent remaining. “Where is Shibi?”
Chun sheepishly pointed to where Zen had fallen after Shibi hit him upon his summoning.
Shibi rushed to Zen’s side, who was groaning as he sat up.
“Zen! Zen?” Shibi growled as he looked at the people around the room. “Who hurt Zen.”
“You did, Bud.” Zen said. He rose to his feet. “What’s going on?”
“Shibi was being hunted.” He said. “Wei and flying rat attacked me.”
“He did what?” Zen said, his anger rising.
“I knew that guy was a slimy character!” Chun said.
The room was drowned in Zen’s intense killing intent. Yi Nou crawled into the nearest corner and whimpered.
Zen touched his storage stone and out came his short sword, Zen Blade.
“Wang Zen, where are you going?” Lao said.
“I’m going to kill Wei,” he said.
“Good idea!” Chun said. “I’ll help you! “ He marched behind Zen before making a U-turn. “Let me just get my wine flask real quick.”
“Wang Zen, wait!” Lao said, stepping in front of his way.
“Out of my way, Captain!” he said. “That man attacked my family. I will not forgive him!”

“I understand, Wang Zen but you need to think this out.”
“There’s nothing to think about!” Chun said after taking a drink from his flask.
“If you attack a member of the Red Dragon Sect, especially in their territory. You would not only compromise our mission with your rash actions, but you would put all our lives at even greater risk, including Shibi’s.”
There was a knock on the door.
“W-W-What is going on in there?” The old man who owned the house said. “I heard a frightful noise, then I felt… I felt something terrible.” His voice went quiet and scared. “Should I summon the City Guard…?”
“No!” Lao said, giving Zen a stern look.
Zen took a deep breath and withdrew his killing intent.
“We are sorry for the disturbance sir.” Lao said. “We will be quieter.”
“O-Okay, but if another strange thing happens, I am calling the City Guard.” The man then went away, the group able to hear his fading footsteps.
“So, what do we do now?” Chun said, taking another sip of his wine.
“We wait, tend to Shibi’s injuries and…”
“That won’t be possible,” Zen said, interrupting Lao. “Shibi might need some healer to look at him.”
“I-I can do that,” Yi Nou said from her corner.
Everyone looked at her in confusion.
“I-I’m a Wood Elementalist.” She said, shakily getting up to her feet. “I can heal your monkey.”
“Okay,” Zen nodded. “Please do, Yi Nou.”
She produced a pill from her person. “Make him take this. It will be easier that way.”
Zen gave the pill to Shibi to eat. Then he laid down while Yi Nou touched his chest. Green energy flowed through Shibi, slowly healing him and causing flowers and other weeds to grow beneath his massive body.

“Now to deal with our next issue,” Lao said. “We need someway to hide Shibi. No doubt Wei will come here to search for him.”
“What, leave the big ape in the forest?” Chun said. “No way!”
“Shibi can leave, find safe place in the forest.” Shibi said from the floor.
“Yeah, I think you’d be quickly found out.” Zen said. “Shibi, I’ll go to the far east side and I’ll find you a safe place. Since stealth is my strong suit, I’ll find a suitable place and summon you.”
Shibi nodded.
Zen changed to grey pants, shirts and a half vest. “I’ll go.”
“Sure, I’ll go with you?” Chun said.
““No!”” Lao, Dandan and Zen said.
“I’ll be okay, Chun.” Zen said. “Easy to move secretly when I’m alone.”
“Alright… yeah, makes sense.” Chun took another sip of his wine. “Goodluck.”
Zen opened the window and hopped on the frame, looking out into the cool air.
“Zen!” Lao called out.
Zen froze at the frame.
“Be safe and do not do anything stupid.”
Zen leapt out the window, saying nothing.
