"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."

"WHERE THE FUCK IS MY PHONE?!"
You weren't gonna lie, you were scared shitless. You knew for a fact that Bakugou was gonna beat your ass. You were in the waiting room, hyping yourself up for your match with Todoroki.
But now you wished you were back in the same room as him. You were for sure going to die here on your own.
You heard the door to your room slam open, and you flinched, slowly turning your head to look at a fuming Bakugou. "Heeeyyyy, Bakugou. . ."
"DID YOU TAKE MY PHONE?" He shouted, stomping toward you.
You cleared your throat, trying to calm your heart rate before replying, "On-On accident."
"AND HOW DO YOU DO THAT SHIT ON ACCIDENT?"
You didn't reply right away, slowly pushing the phone across the table toward him. He snatched it back, and you jumped, inching away from him while trying not to fall off your seat. "You-You see, I had just had a terrifying encounter, so I was kind of in a. . . In a panicked rush, you could say."
"What, did the vending machine break because it fell over after you tried shaking it to get your food out?"
"No, I'm not Stiles Stilinski."
"Then what?"
You threw up your hands, loudly dropping them back on the table before saying, "I ran into Endeavor. Todoroki's dad."
"So?"
You puffed out your cheeks, resting your head in the palms of your hands. "He told me that my quirk was weak and that I wasn't good enough for Todoroki. Then I told him off for how he treats Todoroki and how it's surprising that he is the second-ranked hero, and how that just because he was that high up doesn't mean he's the favourite, and. . ."

"Was that it?" Bakugou asked, noisily pulling out a chair and sitting on it backwards, facing you.
You were about to say yes, but you remembered the asshole's words about Kaminari. You hesitated telling Bakugou, not sure if he would be able to keep it from the boy.
However, when you looked at him, staring at you with his full undivided attention, you realised he'd be the only one you would be able to talk to about the issue. You were slowly becoming more distant with Izuku, and it wasn't like you could tell Todoroki.
Sighing, you sat up in your chair before saying, "He said that I seemed rather close with Kaminari. That he seemed to like me, and I seemed to get along with him rather well. He said that like I was going to cheat on Todoroki or something. Which I don't know if we are together anyway, me and Todoroki. Yes, he's my soulmate, but that doesn't automatically mean we're together."
"Because you two are still getting to know each other," Bakugou chimed in, which was strange because he didn't close the goddamn door.
"Right," you said before shaking your head, "I don't know. It bothered me, and I was already on my way to grab my phone, but I was still quite frightened, so I rushed and grabbed the first one I saw, thinking I grabbed mine. But I guess because I had my stuff next to yours, I grabbed your phone instead. Sorry."
"Whatever," he said, waving his hand dismissively before saying, "you do know that Dunce Face likes you, right?"
You frowned, leaning toward him, "What? Did he say something?"
"No, but it's obvious as hell. He stares at you all the fucking time, his face makes him look like Elmo every time you walk into a fucking room, and the way he talks and interacts with you is just too lovey-dovey and gross for my taste."

You gaped at your friend, almost glaring, "Are you serious?"
"Why the fuck would I lie to you?"
You sat back in your seat astounded, refusing to believe Kaminari liked you. You were only going to tell yourself that he did once you saw the signs yourself. But for now, you were just going to think he was being friendly. You would just only have suspicions from now on when talking to him.
"Okay," Bakugou said once you told him your thoughts. "Whatever. I really don't give two shits. You think whatever the hell you wanna think." Huffing out, he adjusted in his seat before speaking up again, "Fucking hell, he really shouldn't like someone other than his soulmate. Especially when that person has already been matched up with theirs."
You shrugged your shoulders, slumping in your seat as you thought out loud, "I mean, it is very possible and common for people to fall in love with someone long before meeting their soulmate. And even then, there have been a few cases where two soulmates were already deeply in love with their current partner, and decided to go their own separate ways. Obviously, every soulmate is fated to be together, so they would've eventually ended up together somehow, but still. Very possible."
Bakugou glared at you, "You can't be that lenient when Dunce Face confesses to you."
"I'm not going to be lenient, Bakugou," you sighed, "I'm just gonna tell him that I already have a soulmate that I also have deep feelings for."
"That's too vague. He could do anything with that. You need to shoot him straight down. It's only gonna cause more problems for you, dickhead."
You were about to reply back smartly, when you heard a shuffle from outside the door. Acting on impulse and pure panic (worried that someone was listening), you bent the hinges off the door, making the whole thing fall down. No one was there, but now you had a broken door.
"You really need to calm the fuck down," Bakugou said flatly, staring at it.
"OH, YOU'RE ONE TO TALK!"

The Woman In The Palace
Highest rank #1 in Historical He glared at me with irritation. "Come inside!" ...And I did. He pointed to the stack of books on the floor. "Pick them up and arrange them the way they're supposed to."With trembling hands, I did what he asked quickly. Fret in the way I moved, picking up the books into my arms and lap one by one only for them to fall back on the floor over and over. I was a mess, upset, and it was obvious. This wasn't the kind of first meeting I dreamed of.The second prince was mean, and he was irritable. He had no clue who I am which made me resent it even more.He scowled as he watched me made mistakes after mistakes and after a while, he grew frustrated and bent over, picking the books himself."Forgive me, I didn't mean to snarl at you the way I did. I'm not used to being distracted. No one ever walks in my office unless they have my permission. I don't even know how the guardsmen let you in." I wanted to say because unlike you, they recognized who I am. But I kept my mouth shut in fear of aggravating his anger. His voice took a lot gentler tone, I imagined he must've realized how upset I was and felt bad about it.I said nothing. When we're done, I rose up to my feet, couldn't wait to get out of this room. This man was so impolite to me that I couldn't wait to get away from him."I apologize, your highness. I didn't mean to distract you in your private office." I stepped back getting ready to leave when a sliver of sunlight struck highlighting my face. "Wait!" He murmured and I turned back to look at him."You're beautiful." He said breathlessly.I would have blushed, but he was so mean and rude to me that his compliment lost its impact long ago."I need to go," I told him."Wait." A wave of panic rose in the tide of his voice. The prince was afraid to lose me. "What's your name, girl?" He asked quickly. "Jasmine, my name is Jasmine, your highness.""My Jasmine?" He murmured hopeful.
