Ava woke up to the loud alarm coming from her phone, she held her head as she felt the biggest ache in her head. She couldn't remember how much alcohol she had in her system but the way her head hurts so bad, she knew she had a lot, she sat up straight, resting her back on the headboard, and looked around the room. Beatrice was not around, and Ava thought to herself that maybe Beatrice had another meeting. Her whole mood went down after thinking of it that way, her sense of smell caught a delicious smell which made her mood change, she stood up from bed and headed out of the room.

As soon as she opened the door, the aroma of freshly cooked pancakes and coffee, Ava's feet led her to the kitchen where she saw Beatrice in her own world, with her earpods on while cooking, she noticed the older girl was jamming in her song because she was bopping her head like she was dancing in a party, it was cute to see for Ava because this side was never seen at all when they met a few months ago.

Ava walked towards the chair and sat down while Beatrice's back was facing her. The older girl was humming and singing a few lines before turning around to see Ava who was smiling at her with a look in her eyes that she was in a hangover. Beatrice felt her cheeks burning hot as soon as she saw the younger girl sitting across her, Beatrice placed the hot pan down on the counter to remove her earpods.

"Good morning. Here, eat breakfast and drink the medicine. It helps for the hangover plus hot frappuccino, just the way you like it." Beatrice spoke with a smile.

"Such a gentleman, Bea. Good morning to you too." Ava replied as she looked at the different food on the table, bacon, eggs, waffles on the side with a prepared store-bought whipped cream. The creamer for the coffee for Beatrice was also there and two glasses of water were also prepared.

"You better get all the strength you have. I got plans for us today." Beatrice spoke as she sat down across from Ava after turning off the stove and preparing herself to eat.

"Oooh, surprises. Can I take a guess?" Ava asked.

"Hmm... It is one of your top lists of the places you wanted to visit around Amsterdam before your sister and the rest of the group visits." Beatrice replied. Ava started thinking while chewing on her food, she tried to remember what she wrote on the list because she wanted to get this right but no clue came to her mind, all she felt was the pain from the hangover.

"I couldn't find my phone earlier, do you know where it is?" Ava asked. Taking a bite from her food.

"It's in my purse, hold on. I'll get it for you." Beatrice replied as she stood up from her chair and went to their bedroom to get Ava's phone, came back after two minutes, and handed the phone to Ava.

"Thank you so much." Ava said, Beatrice smiled at the younger girl and sat back down in her seat, she grabbed her tablet on the side and started scrolling through online news while sipping coffee.

"Damn, mom and dad were messaging about seeing me soon with Lilith. Camila and Luna also took pictures together and posted them on Camila's social media account, Ava liked the post. While going through social media. Her phone started ringing, Ava was shocked to see the name caller ID. Beatrice stopped eating and kept her eye on Ava who was debating whether to answer the phone or not, it was just ringing and it was echoing around the room. Beatrice took a deep breath and took Ava's phone and pressed the red button call to end the call, Beatrice was surprised to see the amount of missed calls from the one and only JC Lawrence. Beatrice didn't like what he did to her and had the nerve to contact her over and over again.

"What about this? You and I will go to a special place just you and I, without our phones. We just make memories." Beatrice offered. Ava looked at her with amusement and smiled at the idea. Beatrice was starting to be softer than she usually is, it was a good feeling for Ava because she would prefer this side of Beatrice but sometimes would love to see Beatrice lead and become the authority.

"I think I like that idea. Cause I get to spend more time with you without any alcohol in hand?" Ava replied and chuckle at her own statement. Beatrice fell in silence, she could still remember when Ava kissed her and wonder if Ava remembers the kiss they shared last night.

"Do you remember anything else last night? Besides getting too much drunk from all the alcohol you had in your system." Beatrice asked, wondering if the younger girl could remember anything from last night, she watches the younger girl who was thinking hard to remember what happened last night. Ava was thinking too hard not until she remembered a specific memory which led her to chew slowly and start blushing, her cheeks flustered in red.

Beatrice saw the reaction and couldn't help but smile and pretend like she didn't notice it, this gave off the sign that the younger girl remembered their kiss, and this time, it was not only Beatrice who remembers the kiss. Beatrice took a sip of her coffee and cleared her throat.

"Ava? Are you alright?" Beatrice asked, pulling Ava back to reality.

"H-huh? Y-yeah! I'm fine. Perfectly fine!" Ava nervously replied then take a bite.

"So, you don't remember anything from last night?" Beatrice asked.

"Let's just eat!" Ava replied with a sulking face while Beatrice was giggling at Ava. The two women just enjoyed their morning breakfast while talking about other plans they will set as soon as the rest of the gang comes. Beatrice's phone started ringing and Beatrice had to excuse herself to answer it. She stood up from her chair and answered the call.

"This is Hansen speaking." Beatrice replied.

"Uh, yes. I moved it all to next month. I have to focus on the event that will be happening on Friday. My secretary had sent my invitations. I would be pleased for everyone to come to join us this Friday. My parents would be delighted to have you there." Beatrice added while she look over at Ava who was staring at her but looked away as soon as she look in her direction, Beatrice smiled and continued speaking.

"Yes, all of the meetings with the rest, I canceled them. It will resume after the event. Yes, see you soon Mr. Khaleed." Beatrice said and ended the call, she walked back to her seat while Ava was continue eating.

"So, you canceled all your meetings just for Friday's event? Aren't they important?" Ava asked.

"OUR plans are more important right now. Besides, I would be seeing them next month." Beatrice replied.

"Which means, you canceled and told them a lie because you have plans with me?" Ava asked again. Beatrice looked at Ava with a genuine and soft look.

"I've come to the conclusion that I would like to make it up for the years I haven't been with you and to... Give you expectations." Beatrice replied.

"Expectations?" Ava asked.

"When you try to find someone, make sure they could top everything that I do for you. How I make you feel secure, know how to read your body language if it makes you uncomfortable or makes you happy. Those little things." Beatrice replied. Ava stared at her and kept wondering what Beatrice meant.

"Are you giving me dating advice?" Ava asked.

"Do you plan to date somebody new?" Beatrice asked back.

"Ugh, hello?! Duh of course." Ava replied while rolling her eyes.

"Did you just roll your eyes at me?" Beatrice asked, her tone becoming different this time and Ava noticed the change in her voice. Ava felt her cheeks burning instead of feeling guilty about what she had done.

"Um, sorry. I-It's my habit sometimes." Ava nervously replied and continued eating. The awkwardness in the air just kept growing louder until Beatrice broke the silence again.

"Why don't we, um... Get ready for the plans I have made for us. Wear something appropriate." Beatrice spoke.

"So like, I can wear my swimsuit?" Ava replied, causing Beatrice to choke on her coffee and started coughing loud. Ava's eyes widened open and tried to help out.

"Oh my god! Are you okay? What the hell happened to you?" Ava asked with a worried tone.

"I-I'm... Fine, I'm fine. Sorry, I was slurping it and it was hot and it went straight in choking me. I'm sorry." Beatrice explained, wiping her mouth with the napkin she was holding.

"Just, just wear anything that will be comfortable for you. Anything you want." Beatrice spoke again after composing herself properly.

"Alright, I'll just wear something I have in mind," Ava replied. Beatrice nodded her head repeatedly while Ava looked at her weirdly enough to smirk on the inside and thought of teasing the older girl later. She stood up and went to the bedroom leaving Beatrice behind. Ava remembered she didn't have any clothes that they brought.

"Um, Beatrice? I think I need to go visit the malls. I have no other clothes besides the clothes I wore when we flew here." Ava spoke as she was walking back to the kitchen counter.

"Oh right. I forgot that I pulled you out of the university without making you pack things. Here, you can use this." Beatrice said as she stood up and took something from her bag, she pulled out her black card and handed it over to Ava who was stunned to see it.

"Whoa, whoa. Rich girl. Calm down, I don't need to use your black card to buy a few clothes." Ava spoke.

"Well, I am giving you my black card to buy your clothes. Take it or you're going with me wearing pajamas." Beatrice replied. Ava was hesitating to get the card from Beatrice's hand but the older girl took her hand and place the black card in her palm.

"Please, Ava. I don't care how many clothes you buy. It doesn't matter and won't matter to me how much you're going to spend on the clothes. You can even buy clothes for the Friday event. I don't care." Beatrice added, smiling at her. Their eyes stay in contact while Beatrice makes Ava sure that she is serious about letting Ava spend much using her black card.

"Fine, but are you going to shop with me?" Ava asked.

"Do you want me to come with you?" Beatrice asked back.

"Of course! I want you to come with me." Ava replied. Ava approached the older girl and hugged her.

"You know I'm starting to get used to you hugging me every now and then." Beatrice spoke, putting her hand behind Ava's lower back, Ava pulled away and looked at her.

"You're still not used to this, huh?" Ava replied.

"I'm getting there." Beatrice said and smiled.

"Good. Because I will keep hugging you until you get annoyed." Ava replied while giggling.

"As if I would get annoyed by that. When it comes to you, never." Beatrice said and assured Ava while hugging she hugged her back.

"Good!" Ava spoke. Ava rested her head on Beatrice's chest where she could hear the older girl's heartbeat.

"Let's go get ready. So, we can still go to the planned place we are gonna go visit." Beatrice replied.

Ava and Beatrice finished getting ready and left the penthouse, with Beatrice's car ready out front. Beatrice would be driving today and Ava was excited to be with Beatrice driving the car just like how she was used to Beatrice driving out of the university to visit their favorite place a few miles from their university campus.

She loves watching Beatrice focus on driving and how alert she is whenever they're on the road, every girl or woman loves to watch their special someone drives them around and would watch how good they are at driving, that's what Ava feels towards Beatrice when she drives. Whenever Beatrice drives, it is peaceful, the feeling of being safe in someone else's care while you fall asleep and they were driving.

They finally got into the shopping mall and started making their way to different stores, Beatrice just let Ava go through different clothes while she had something else in mind. They went through different stores and eventually bought the clothes that Ava need, the next stop was the perfume store and Beatrice just asked Ava to buy three different perfumes that caught her attention.

"Ms. Hansen, welcome back to Amsterdam!" The store manager, Mildred spoke as soon as she saw Beatrice.

"Hi, Mildred. Thank you, I want you to meet Ava. Ava this is Mildred. She is the store manager and quite an expert in this field." Beatrice introduced.

"Oh hello, nice to meet you." Ava warmly replied with a smile.

"Mi Amore. She is beautiful. Have you finally found your true love, Hansen?" Mildred spoke.

"I guess she did, right babe?" Ava playfully flirt and held hands with Beatrice.

"D-don't do that," Beatrice whispered while smiling.

"Do what exactly?" Ava flirtatiously replied, she felt Beatrice grip her hand tight and saw how Beatrice's cheeks turned red, Ava now knows how to get Beatrice's attention and she loves how Beatrice reacts whenever she tries to flirt with her. Ava felt bad a little for doing that to her best friend but she had never seen such an expression on the older girl whenever she say something that would make Beatrice blush.

"Ava, please. Not now." Beatrice spoke in her lower tone and Ava felt different inside after hearing Beatrice speak like that. She felt herself this time blushing.

"Please show her your best collection, whatever catches her eye. Let her take it." Beatrice said to Mildred.

"Anything she wants, Ms. Hansen?" Mildred asked.

"Anything. She. Wants." Beatrice replied, loud and clear. Ava smiled like a child and they proceed to the store, Mildred showed Ava their finest collections and Ava was stunned to see all the exclusive collections for summer style. Ava felt like a child in a fantasy land.

Beatrice loves to watch Ava being spoiled by her, one day she will find the courage to tell Ava how much she feels and would love to show her the world that she really deserved. All she ever wanted was Ava.

They spend the whole morning walking around the shopping mall, Ava and Beatrice decided to call it a day before the clock strikes twelve because she prepared something to eat by the beach, she always knew Ava loves beaches even if she was scared of water and her as an athlete swimmer, she loves the water. Beatrice made an arrangement in a restaurant while they were walking around the mall, she wanted a beautiful sight of Amsterdam.

"You certainly have an eye for good date spots." Ava spoke as soon as they both sat down comfortably in the chairs.

"So that means I get to ask you on a date to this special place?" Beatrice teased unconsciously which made Ava blush and kept quiet. Beatrice noticed the sudden change and couldn't help but give herself a high-five for making the love of her life blush.

"What I meant is, I have this special place I usually go to whenever I visit Amsterdam. And because... You're the only person I feel comfortable with whenever I'm going anywhere and you're near. Maybe the thought of you being close was enough... To make me bring you to that place." Beatrice said. She was trying to sugarcoat what she really meant.

"I doubt that." Ava replied, Beatrice just offered Ava a hesitant grin while Ava could hear her heart rate thumping rapidly.

"You can't blame me, Ava. I haven't seen you for years, I just don't know if you were... The same girl." Beatrice explained.

"But I'm still... Me." Ava said.

"I know, I'm happy and so glad that you're still you. Cause I really don't know how will I act around you as my roommate if you became bitchy." Beatrice straightforwardly replied which made Ava crack up.

"You were the one who became bitchy towards me. Acting so cold towards me, that actually broke my heart." Ava replied, playfully placing her hand on her chest acting as if she was shot in the chest. Beatrice shook her head and kept walking beside Ava.

"Hold on." Beatrice said to Ava, Beatrice placed the shopping bags down and took her phone out of her pocket, she dialed her driver's number and waited for him to answer the call.

"Hi, yes. Please get the car and take the shopping bags I'm carrying here with me," Beatrice spoke. Beatrice nodded her head for quite some time and ended the call right away.

"Is everything, okay?" Ava asked. Beatrice looked over to Ava and smiled.

"Yes, everything is okay. I just told the driver to pick up the bags we have with us so it won't be any hassle to walk around more. Is there anything else you'd like to purchase?" Beatrice asked.

"Nope, I'm just excited to know where we're going and now let's go!" Ava excitingly propose and wrapped her arm around Beatrice's arm, Ava could feel how warm the older girl was and that sense of feeling was just something she could not explain at the moment. Beatrice, on the other hand, started to blush out of nowhere. Being near Ava still has the biggest effect on her no matter how many times they were together over the past months.

"If the place we will be visiting today is your special place then it's a date." Ava spoke out of nowhere.

"H-huh?" Beatrice speechlessly said. Ava smiled and looked at Beatrice, Ava saw the car pulling over and had a little naughty thought in her mind.

"Race you to the car." Ava spoke and kissed Beatrice on the cheek before breaking free from Beatrice and started running towards the car. Beatrice was left in another cloud-nine situation because the very first thing that came to her mind was. 'Did that just happen?'

Her heart was beating faster than the usual rate and her face turned hot, Beatrice is whipped for the younger girl and she could not do anything about the actions that Ava show to her, it only made her weaker down to her knees to know, it was only her could have this so much impact on her and she could never escape from it.

"Bea! Come on!" Ava shouted across the street and Beatrice was taken back to reality and nodded her head, she cleared her throat before approaching the car waiting for her.

"Is there somewhere else you would wish to go, Ms. Hansen?" The driver asked.

"To my rest house, please." Beatrice replied with a smile. The driver nodded his head, and Beatrice look over to Ava who was already staring at her, Beatrice just raised her eyebrow before grabbing Ava's hand this time, Ava got shy afterward because seeing Beatrice initiate the first move was something new to her.

Ava knew how sweet and clingy Beatrice used to be and now that Beatrice was showing her old self again, it felt like she was back to being the younger Ava who felt nothing but loved by the older girl she always adored ever since she was a little girl.

//

Ava was rendered speechless once again as she considered how affluent Beatrice must have been to have her own rest house when the two finally arrived at the restroom. The entrance to the rest home was about a two-minute drive away and a ten-minute walk if you don't have transportation, but she could see that it was almost like an open house where you could easily enter. The rest house was pleasant and the interior is attractive to the eyes.
