Reiner:"W-what the hell is that thing!?"

Bertolt:"Reiner! Get up!"

The two warriors were stuck in a predicament when Boba blasted Reiner's legs. The Armored Titan had been incapacitated allowing the remainder of the Survey Corps to close in.

From above, Din also joined in using his jetpack to maneuver his way around the field.

Titans swarmed the area and picked off Scouts one-by-one. Erwin being one of the casualties in the process.

Bertolt:"T-they are coming for us, Reiner! Get up!"

Reiner:'No, not like this damn it! I can't give up like this!!' He thought to himself. With a mighty roar, Reiner got back up and started to run.

The Scouts on the ground tried to take advantage of Boba's attack run but with their dwindling numbers, it looked as if Eren was going to get taken. Din looked everywhere for the kid and suddenly remembered what Mikasa said. Eren was the one strapped to Bertolt's back.

Din:'Hold on kid, I'm on my way!' He flew towards Reiner's titan.

Out the corner of his eye, Din spotted Levi wreaking havoc alongside the remainder of his squad.

Levi slashed his way towards the Armored Titan in a quick manner. The titans he left in his wake worried Reiner and his Warrior companion a great deal.

Reiner:'What the hell is he!? He's not human at all!'

Bertolt:"Reiner, if I have to shift then let me know!" He yelled out. Reiner looked down at his friend and let out a growl.

Bertolt:"G-got it, I'll leave it to you then!"

On board the Slave 1, Mikasa looked around the giant clunk of floating metal she was inside. Fennec was currently preparing medical treatment for her while Boba geared up to assist Din.

Finishing gathering the material, Fennec went to render aid.

Fennec:"Here, stay still." She pulled out some Bactada, an edible bacta dispensed in bottles.

Fennec:"This will taste bad but it will help you with your injuries. Eat it."

Mikasa looked at the woman and back at the muddy liquid substance. Fennec had to motion a drinking motion for her to understand. She reluctantly ate it but to much distaste. The bactade left a terrible, chalky taste causing her to cough up a small amount.

Mikasa:"What is that!?" She asked. Fennec just looked at her, wondering what was said.

Fennec:"Boba, you understand her?"

Boba:"No. I'll leave the ship in your hands, keep us covered down there."

Fennec:"Where are you going?"

Boba:"To help Mando, sooner we help him the sooner we can get out of here."

Boba climbed down from the cockpit allowing Mikasa to see the mystery man. Her eyes widened upon seeing him don the same armor her father wore.

Boba:"What is it?" He asked upon noticing her stare.

Mikasa:"Uhm...Mandalorian?" She uttered the only word they could understand.

Fennec:"Would you look at that, looks like he taught her something."

Boba:"Heh, no...I'm a simple man making his way through the galaxy...like my father before me."

Mikasa:"Huh?" She asked with a confused face.

Boba:"Nothing, look after the ship Fennec, I'll be back."

Boba jumped out of the ship, descending unto the madness that was the battlefield. He opened fire upon several titans with his weaponry, blasting away.

He soon realized what Din said was true, his blaster carbine cauterized the wounds not giving the titans a chance to heal. Aiming for their legs, he focused on immobilizing the horde instead of killing them.

Levi and Din made their way ever closer to Eren alongside the Scouts.

Din:"Fett, can you hear me?"

Boba:"Loud and clear, what is it?"

Din:"I'm heading in, blast whatever titans are in my path."

Boba:"Understood."

Reiner covered Bertolt and Eren with his hands while fending off the horde. Finding the strength, he charged through the titans and moved forward.

Bertolt:"We finally made it this far, we're taking Eren back with us! Back to our home, Reiner!"

Armin:"Bertolt!"

Eren:'Armin!'

Armin:"Is it really fine for the two of you to return like this? Leaving one of your comrades behind?"

Reiner:'What?'

Bertolt:"W-what are you going on about, Armin!?"

Armin:'What can I think of? How can I rile them up!?"

Armin:"Leaving Annie behind...so she can undergo torture? If only you could hear her screams...undergoing numerous methods of the worst kinds of torture one can think of."

Bertolt:"YOU SONS OF BITCHES! I'LL KILL YOU ALL!" He yelled.

As he went to attack Armin, Erwin caught them all by surprise and sliced up Bertolt's chest.

Bertolt:'W-what the Devil...?'

Eren:'Oh shit, shit, shit!' Falling from such a high position caused him to panic.

Din:"I got you!"

Din came just in time and caught Eren midair before hitting the ground. Soaring through the sky, Din started to retreat to safety.

Eren:"Din!"

Din:"Fett, Levi, fall back now!"

Erwin:"All units, retreat!"

Eren:"When did you come here!?"

Din:"After I finished dealing with business in another district. I heard you guys were in trouble so I brought help."

Eren held on to him, the two noticed a shadow loom over them.

Eren:"Din, look out!"

Levi:"Shit!"

Boba:"Mando!"

Din and Eren both crashed into the ground for a hard landing. The two skidded across the dirt, stopping a few feet from each other.

Eren:"Ugh...damn it that hurt..." Eren looked around him finding Din a few feet from him, motionless.

Eren:"Din!?"

Getting up and running as fast as he could, Eren reached the man and turned him over. No response came from Din which worried the boy a great deal.

Eren:"Wake up! Wake up! We have to go!"

The sound and rumbling of footsteps caught Eren's attention. He looked behind him to find an old adversary.

Eren:"No...not again..."

Eren looked down at Din's weapons and found his Vibro blade. He quickly turned around to grab it, still bonded by the rope around his wrists.

Eren:"C'mon...c'mon!"

He struggled to cut himself free as he watched the titan get ever so close. As it went to grab him, Eren finally freed himself.

Eren:"Get away from us, you son of a bitch!"

Eren punched the titans hand away sending a shot of electricity through the other titan shifters.

Eren:"AHHH!"

Titan after titan piled on the grinning titan tearing away and eating it.

In the midst of all the confusion, Reiner took that chance to run over to Eren's spot. Eren looked at him and yelled out his thoughts.

Eren:"DON'T COME HERE! I'LL KILL YOU BASTARDS TOO!"

The surrounding titans stopped what they were doing and ran towards Reiner and Bertolt.

Reiner:'Damn, this is bad! I won't be able to protect Bertolt!' He thought while bracing himself.

Erwin:"Take this chance to retreat!"

Levi:"Let's go! We don't have much time!"

Boba:"I'll take him and you take the boy."

The two men landed next to Din and Eren. Boba quickly mentioned for Levi to carry Eren back while Din goes onboard the ship. Levi understood what he was trying to get at so he acted.

Levi:"Eren, on the horse, now!"

Eren:"What about Din?!"

Levi:"Looks like he's a friend of his. I'm sure he'll be fine." He watched as Boba took the unconcious man into the ship.

Eren:"Wait...where's Mikasa!?"

Levi:"Don't know, she could be safe with the rest. Now stuff it, this will be a long ride."

Eren listened and shut his mouth, he opted to look back at Reiner getting piled on by dozens of titans.

A few weeks later at a hidden remote location...

Jean:"He hasn't woken up, has he?"

Mikasa:"No..."

Armin:"They told us he only banged his head pretty bad when he fell out of the sky. I'm sure Captain Levi will have answers when he returns."

Jean:"It's pretty weird knowing there's more like him around. At least they have different colors, right Mikasa?"

Mikasa:"Shut up..."

Jean:"S-sorry, bad joke."

The door opened up letting Boba and Fennec inside. The two looked at Din's unconcious state.

Boba:"Goodness, he's still like this?"

Fennec:"We're out of bacta, there's no way to fully heal someone with a concussion given our medical shortage." She walked over to Mikasa sitting on the chair.

Mikasa:"W-what?" Fennec ruffled her hair and smiled.

Fennec:"Such a cute kid he has. Don't get me wrong, I liked the other one too but she's a lot more..."

Boba:"Human?"

Fennec:"I couldn't bring myself to say that but I guess..."

Boba:"I know."

Fennec:"Have you seen his face? Has he taken his helmet off to show you?" She motioned taking off a helmet.

Mikasa:"Yes." She nodded.

Fennec:"Wow, this is probably the second time he's done that."

Boba:"So much for sticking to his code. I'll be outside if you need me."

Fennec:"I'll join you." They both then left the room.

Armin:"I wonder what they were saying."

Jean:"Looks as if she likes Mikasa."

Mikasa:"Yeah..."

Armin:"Well, we'll leave you alone then. If you need us, let us know."

Mikasa:"Okay, thank you."

Jean was the first to leave the room followed by Armin. He closed the door only peeking back to see Mikasa stay right at her father's side.

She stood up from her chair and went to take off his helmet. She figured having it on while lying down wasn't a good feeling so she would take it off on occasion while no one was around.

Setting his helmet down on the dresser next to the bed, she sat back down and watched him sleep peacefully. After being raised by him and cared for, now it's her turn to care for him while he's in such a vulnerable state.
