The next day, at The Training Arena; the magic training dome.

Curtis had done a great job, he prepared everything as his requirement.

All members of The Draco Knights were waiting for him.

“As I told you yesterday, Ultima and Volante will fight a duel at first. Give it all you have. I can heal you later,” Ilario said.

Both Ultima and Volante were ready for fighting. Their postures were showing that they passed through many fights. They both had already boosted up their cursus power on their swords.

Ultima attacked first, her speed was outstanding. She made him think of an eagle, her yellow eyes, her movement, it looks like an eagle attacked a prey. Volante blocked her attack and hit her back. Ultima dodged his attack.

Ultima was faster but Volante was stronger, it was because of their physical bodies. They were fighting and realized of that point very well. Their fighting skill were on pair, the matter of tactics and time would decide their result.

Ultima attacked again. Volante blocked and attacked back. Ultima dodged, she was increasing her speed and attacked back and slashed on Volante’s waist. Volante slashed back at her arm. They both were fighting seriously.

One likes an eagle, another one likes a tiger. They were observing each other and waiting for a chance of final attack.

Ultima was attacking continually. Her tactics were great, it was hard to guess for her next movement. She can use her sword freely like it was one of her part, she might have more experience than Volante. Volante blocked her attacks, he could not attack back because Ultima increasing her speed every time of attack. The result was clear at this point, Ultima was greater than Volante. She was holding herself all this time. She slashed at Volante’s body and pointed her sword on his neck.

Ilario healed both of them. Volante was badly injured from a last hit.

“All right, the result was clear. Is there anybody want to challenge her?” Ilario asked everyone but there was no one wanted to challenge her after they saw her skills.

“Could I challenge you, Young Lord?” Ultima asked.

“Are you sure?” Ilario asked, he doesn’t want to ruin her pride but he also understands her point.

“Yes, Young Lord” said Ultima firmly.

“All right, let’s do it.” Ilario smiled lightly.

After the duel started, Ultima aimed to attack Ilario with her speed. He wanted to finish it quickly and make it clear to everyone. They will understand why they must work under his command. He used his speed and attacked her before she could attack him, his sword was on her neck.

All The Draco Knights had a great shock, they could not see his movement. It happened very fast within a second.

“I admitted defeat, My Lord” said Ultima honestly, she accepted her lost and respected him after she realized his abilities.

“Ultima will be a team leader for both of The Draco Knights and sub-team ‘Alpha’. Volante will be a vice leader of The Draco Knight and a leader of sub-team ‘Beta’. — The member of ‘Aquilae’ will be in Alpha, you had been working together and the other will be in Beta. But, we will rotate the team members between Alpha and Beta every week. You have to work together naturally under the command of Ultima and Volante,” Ilario said.

“Put the weight bracelets on both of your wrists and ankles when you are training everyday. You need to strengthen your body, it will help you to improve your stamina, speed and agility rapidly,”

Ilario guided them a training set for basic training, he used the same way of training like the elves.

More than half of them exhausted after run 50 laps with the weight bracelets on their wrists and ankles. Ultima, Volante and Horace seemed to be fine. Ilario told the 3 of them to change their bracelets to be heavier, they have the potential for advance training.

Ilario allowed them to have a duel with anyone freely. If they want to be stronger, they must challenge the other one who greater than them.

Ilario let them train by themselves. He has a lot of schedule, and the most important one was to play with Beatrice. If she could not see him, she will find him everywhere even the training ground. It would be dangerous for her.

After finished a tutorial, Ilario took Beatrice to the garden.

“Sister Letty! Let’s play together,” said Beatrice cheerfully.

“Yes,” Letitia said. She could not resist Beatrice’s cuteness. She even allowed her to call ‘Sister Letty’ as she pleased.

Their powers were compatible with each other. For that reason, they are close quickly.

One week passed, at The Training Arena.

Ilario gave an order to The Draco Knights to fight each other by teams. He wanted to evaluate their improvement.

Alpha team were working as a teamwork very well because they had been working together before they worked as The Draco Knights. Beta team were still having some distance in their relationship but the members were working under command of Volante respectfully.

They were fighting by paring with the members of the other team. Ultima was fighting with Horace, Volante was fighting with Marbel, Julia was fighting with Rose, and Violet was fighting with Calton.

Horace and Marbel were outstanding. They could fight with Ultima and Volante, although they could not win them but they were able to block and attack back some time.

Alpha team won the fight because of Ultima. Rose and Violet lost to Julia and Calton firstly but Ultima could control the situation well despite her members were less than the other team. Ultima used her tactic and speed to fight with Volante and Horace at the same time. As a result, Alpha team could win the fight at last.

Ilario thought of the special training for Ultima. He asked Letitia to practice with her separately. She has potential to reach to the level of Bellator, even though she possessed only cursus power.

One month passed, The Draco Knights have improved their skills rapidly. They could work as a teamwork which was much smoother than before.

Ilario started to train them the Archery, he planned to develop the gun. They must possess the high skill of shooting to use the gun well. He told everyone to shoot the target one by one, he wanted to know their basic skill firstly.

Marbel, Violet, Julia and Calton were outstanding. They had been practicing before they worked as The Draco Knights. Ilario tested the 4 of them by making the moving targets. Marbel got the highest scores, she said that she had been hunting by shooting the arrows since she was young. Julia scored in second place. Violet and Calton scored in third place with the same points.

Ilario gave the book ‘How to kill Monster’ to 4 of them. They have no problem with shooting skill, but they need to learn more about the weakest spot of monsters.

“I want you to learn more about the medium to high level of monsters, remember their weakness. You will be able to kill it faster,” Ilario said to Marbel, Violet, Julia and Calton.

“You four should improve your shooting skill. I will provide you the new weapon. You can use it to kill monsters easier but it’s required the shooting skill,” Ilario said to Ultima, Volante, Horace and Rose.

“You all have to remember that you must improve the skills of swordsmanship, archery and martial Art. You must be able to fight in any style and any kind of situation,” said Ilario seriously, “I will tell you a secret of the key success. You have to exhaust your cursus power everyday. It will increase the capacity of magic core indirectly. I believed that no one know about this fact because they think that it was dangerous to their body. But, I had done it countless time and the capacity of my magic power had increased after that. If you want to improve yourself, just try it.”

Curtis came to The Training Arena while Ilario was guiding Volante for shooting.

“Her Ladyship called for you, Young Lord” said Curtis politely.

Ilario thought to himself that he did not meet his mother several days, he was busy with his schedule and The Draco Knights.

Curtis led Ilario to The Glasshouse. Bellatrix and Beatrice were having a tea time inside.

“Brother!” said Beatrice cheerfully.

“Did you call for me, Mother?” Ilario asked, he was aware that she was angry at him.

“If I did not call you, will you come to meet me?” Bellatrix asked coldly, she was hurt by his neglect.

“I’m sorry, Mother” Ilario said and hugged her, it was only way to make her feel better.

“…” Bellatrix said nothing and did not hug him back as usual. She was unexpectedly cold.

Ilario thought to himself, ‘Ah…I have to use the trump card’. He kissed her on the cheek. It was his first time, he was not familiar at first but he learned that it was normal to express their loves to their family in this way.

Bellatrix was surprised by a kiss from her son, her cold emotion has gone completely. She hugged him back, she was happy that her son cares about her feeling.

“That’s all right. But you have to meet me more often, at least, don’t miss the dinner time together,” Bellatrix said.

“Yes, Mother” said Ilario obediently.

“I called you here because I have something to tell you, Eli. There will be a birthday party for The Crown Princess in the next month, she has the same age as you. The Royal Family have invited all of our family members to attend The Crown Princess’s birthday party,” said Bellatrix delightfully, “that’s why we will go to the city to buy the new suit for you today.”

“Yes, Mother” said Ilario obediently. His mother was like the final boss whom he must care about her feeling seriously. He determined to devote himself to her as an obedient child.

“Yay, Bia can go to the city with Mom and Brother,” said Beatrice cheerfully.

Bellatrix, Ilario, Beatrice and Letitia went to the city of Fortis. The first destination was a dress shop. Bellatrix requested for catalogue and ordered everything by herself. A tailor measured Ilario’s body and discussed the details with Bellatrix. She has a good taste, elite and elegant. Ilario just left everything to her. In fact, he likes to wear casual shirt and trousers but he could not do that in the noble society. He must wear suit or waistcoat properly and dress up well for the banquet and the party.

After finished everything in a dress shop, we went to the Jewelry Store. Bellatrix selected many accessories for everyone.

“Would you like to get something else, Eli?” Bellatrix asked Ilario.

“Umm…That’s enough for me, Mother” said Ilario, he did not interest in jewelry or accessories.

“No, it’s not enough. I will select more brooch for you,” said Bellatrix delightfully.

Bellatrix bought blue sapphire brooch for him, it matched to his eyes color. She also bought emerald pin for Beatrice. It was a tradition of nobles to buy jewelry which matching to their eyes color. These 2 pieces were exquisite, more beautiful than other pieces and value at 1,000 gold coins. It was very expensive, it was equal to a price of a small house.

“Mom, Bia would like to eat cake at that shop,” said Beatrice, she means her favorite bakery shop.

“All right. We will go after Mom finished everything here,” said Bellatrix kindly.

Beatrice was a bit chubby these days, she loves desserts, especially, cake. There was no one who could refuse her request after they saw her eyes. Moreover, she behaves herself well, it made everyone want to spoil her.

“Could I go somewhere else while you and Bia have some cake, Mother?” Ilario asked Bellatrix, he had no time to look around the city last time because of Cornelius’s plan.

“Where are you going, Eli?” Bellatrix asked.

“I would like to go to a weapon shop nearby, Mother” Ilario said.

“All right,” Bellatrix said.

“You two stay with them,” Ilario used ‘Telepathy’ to communicate with Luna and Solaris.
