Hey there, my long-ago readers. I've finally gotten around to remaking Directorate into something far, far different, but I think it does what I wanted to do, and better!

WE ARE ROACHES!

The themes are completely different, and it's written in Coronel's POV. Coronel as a character is very different as well.

Also, yes, Directorate's worldbuilding was supposed to unfold into a "Wait, why are we fighting aliens now?" plot, but it all felt as incoherent as spaghetti, so I lost steam. Moving the whole thing to the extraterrestrial POV made a lot more sense, and slapping on some HFY themes gave it the cohesion that I feel Directorate never really had.
