Hey, sorry for ghosting everyone. I was only planning on being gone two weeks, but that has turned into almost 4 at this point. Real life shit + burnout is a story killer.
But I'm back. However, don't expect a new chapter anytime soon. I am re-writing the Elf arc for two reasons:
1) Things got off track of the pacing I wanted. Near the end I was reactive writing instead of actually following my script. Because of that, things fell out of rhythm in the story and it was starting to not be well written
2) My groove is off after such a long break that I need to get back mentally to where Mathew would be.
I hope you guys understand, and some of you are still around. Expect the updates to drop in a week or so. Thanks for being awesome as always. It sounds cheesy, but the fact people are still commenting and reading this story helped me be able to come back to it.

Wanderer: Life in a New World

A Wanderer is a reincarnated soul that gets sent to a different world to make a better life than the one he originally had. The reason why Hugh became a wonderer was because his life was too short in his eyes to fit his ambitions and his marriage never came to fruition, so when given the option to start from the beginning he accepted. The world he chose was one where various sentient races coexist and the Gods, or rather Vitans, interact with the lower realms. It's a world with magic, a large variety of unique creatures, and a chance to give Hugh everything he couldn't get in his previous life. When he was reincarnated he became Lucien Mercelious and his new life began.

And he did manage it, but only to accidentally activate a strange artifact that made him and Vincent be transported to a different place. Now lost, they needed to find the way back from this strange and mysterious place. ---------- Length: I try to keep the chapters around 2000 words, but sometimes I would do more.
