With the women of Fairy Tail, also before disaster...
A gasp rings out in the hotel room in which Wendy, Erza, and Mira are staying. They had decided to stay in Crocus for the night, just in case Lucy would call or needed something. It had begun snowing quite heavily throughout the night, but in their room, it was cozy and warm.
It wasn't just a gasp, it was one of those, horrified and shocked gasps. A gasp someone would get from being jump scared or from having a sudden pain. And it did wake up the other snoozing persons.
"Carla?" Wendy's tired head pokes out of the warm sheets and comforter, yawning, but alert at her exceed's panic.
"Something...Lucy!" Carla cried out, clutching her head as a vision burned through her mind.
A side lamp is flickered on. Erza and Mira wake up from the commotion. They sat up on their bed, glancing over at the girl and cat.
"Lucy?" Mira asks sleepily. "Carla, is something the matter?"
"Agh..." Carla whimpered, her ears tucking against her head. "Danger! Lucy's in danger!"
"What?!" Springing awake, the S-Class women practically jump from their beds.
"She's...I see her. She's gone into labor as well." Carla mumbles, but her voice is loud enough for the others to hear.
"That's not possible." Erza shook her head, hurrying around. "She's too early!"
"What kind of danger, Carla?" Mira asks firmly.
"Two men, apart from the cult...they're after her baby." Carla settles down some, her vision leaving her mind. "I saw them. We have to hurry."
"Contact Makarov," Erza commanded, having already dressed, she left in a hurry.
Now...
Clang!
Taft's eyes widened in shock, having expected to kill the man and take the girl, but instead, a fierce blade deflected his. Who he saw... she terrified him to his very core. If he hadn't been so afraid of Evanora, this woman would have been the most terrifying being he had ever encountered.

Erza Scarlet. Queen of the Faires. Titania.
The Titania Erza.
"You will not exceed further." Her dark eyes narrowed at him dangerously.
"Erza!" Lucy cried out.
"Are you alright?" The redhead asked, keeping her blade locked with the strange man.
"They won't be for long," Taft smirked and tried to thrust the woman away, but her strength outbid his.
"Cobra, get Lucy someplace safe. Protect them." Erza effortlessly threw the green-haired man back and she equipped herself into her Flight Armor.
Lucy's POV
"Erza, no!" I watched her equip with her Flight Armor and clash with the green-haired man.
She tossed him back and clashed blades with him again. He struggled against her strength but seemed to hold his own. The man roared out, trying to throw the redhead off balance, his efforts failing, and he bared these sharp-like teeth.
"Lucy!" A young voice called out, which we come to find was Wendy, being carried by Carla, Happy not far behind them.
"Lushie!" Happy cried, his large eyes leaking crocodile tears.
"Happy, get her to Porlyusica!" Erza instructed him.
"Aye!" Happy flew to Erik and grabbed him by his collar, even though he was a little wary.
"Get back here!" We heard Erza's opponent scream and then another powerful metal against metal clang.
"Max Speed!"
Within mere seconds, we soared over Crocus, away from my apartment and those men. I clutched my stomach as the pain subsided. Carla carried Wendy beside us, the girl kept her eyes on me. I didn't need to see her to know, I felt her eyes bear into my soul.
"How much longer?" Erik grunted.
"Not much further," Wendy answered, her voice a bit muffled by the cold wind of winter. "We just need to get to the train station! The others will be waiting there for us!"

"The others?"
Wendy didn't answer me, instead she looked ahead. She was as on guard as Erik was.
The pain in my belly seemed to slowly dissipate, my muscles relaxed, and my baby stilled. I hadn't thought the stress of it would scare him. I wanted to rub my bump, but I didn't want to look down and get sick.
It wasn't long before we were on the ground again. Gravity took hold of my body once more. I felt grateful, and relieved, to be in the air. I didn't doubt Happy's flying, as he's flown with me before, but with those guys after us, and then my baby...
"You're here!" A voice split the blizzard apart.
"Mira? Lisanna?" My eyes widened, seeing the Strauss sisters hurrying toward us.
"Are you hurt anywhere?" The eldest sister looked me over protectively.
"I'm fine," I managed out. "Just in shock."
"Good," she nodded firmly and then her blue eyes flickered to Erik. "Thank you."
He scoffed her appreciation off, but I knew he enjoyed the praise. Gently, he adjusted my body into a more comfortable position.
"Those men," Carla began as everyone gathered. "They came for your baby."
"I don't know why," I placed a hand on my bump. A pain in my throat grew as the tears brimmed my eyes. "It's just a baby."
"They want its power."
I looked at the white cat. "What?"
"Your baby's power, it's a mash of Celestial Magic and Dragon Slayer. It's powerful, and they want it to resurrect an evil deity with it."
I lost my breath. What?
"Easy, Blondie," Erik murmured. "We need to get to that tree lady."
"No!"
"We already bought tickets," Lisanna stepped up, her fur coat bristled in the winter wind. "Just in case something happened."
"We can't leave Erza, or Midnight!" I gripped Erik's shoulder.
"Erza will be fine," Mira assured me. "I'm sure your friend will be too. A member of the Oracion Seis can't be taken down too easily."
"Ex," Erik coughed. "We're not in the Oracion Seis anymore."
"Of course," Mira offered an apologetic half-smile. "Let's get on the train now."
"Isn't it too late for train rides---ah!" A strangled gasp left me as another ripple of pain tore through me. My friends fall silent and become concerned.
"Are you in pain?" Wendy's cold fingers pressed against my bump slightly.
"It just began when we were attacked at the apartment," Erik said when I couldn't. "The kid is coming."
"Isn't it too soon?" Lisanna furrowed her brows.
"It's the stress," Carla breathed. "We must get to Porlyusica before the baby's born."
"Okay...okay..." My fingers curled at certain spot on my side and the pain subsided, leaving hot tingles behind. "It's over. Definitely in labor."
"Yes," Mira stepped forward. "Which means we need to get you out of here."
Erik suddenly lurched forward, tucking me against my chest, causing me to yelp out. An intense heat melted the snow where we had been standing. A flaming fist touched the exposed cobble ground. A crazed growl emitted from an angry beast, or human.
"Get your disgusting hands off her."
I freeze the moment I saw him, burned by the anger directed at the man protectively cradling me, baring his fierce canines. The fear bubbled in my chest, budding into a new form of overwhelming sensation.
"Natsu?!"
