'Betrayed trust'
'This is what you're all about. Oh, You're such a backstabber (stabber, Stab her) you're such a backstabber."
excessive halls of the huge building, I was unsurprisingly shaken up from the previous encounter. Is it bad that I feel quite sympathetic towards him?...
My walking slowly became slower and slower due to my growing hunger and being tired. My eyes began to flutter open and close as I leant on a nearby wall to catch my breath, resting the back of my head into the wall, deciding to close my eyes for a few seconds to try and resolve my fatigue.
"Tired?" A deep, sarcastic voice rang throughout the long corridor, forcing me to flinch in surprise. I craned my head to my right to reveal the black haired Australian, Felix. I remained silent as I forced myself to stand awkwardly after pushing myself off the wall. The familiar feeling of anxiety beginning to quickly build up in my stomach as Felix approached me, his grown out black hair softly falling over his eyes with each step.
I turned my head to face away from him, before feeling a threateningly tight grip on my wrist. Shaking profusely, I craned my neck, forcing my scared eyes to meet his.
"You need to come with me"
———————————
stressed thoughts ran through my head as Felix gently led me down the long, winding corridors. Finally, we reached a door.
My jaw almost dropped to the floor when the door opened to reveal an extravagant dining room. The long, wooden table surrounded by tucked-in, cushioned chairs. Various plates, wine glasses, spoons, Knives and forks were all aligned neatly on the table. It looked like something straight out of a fantasy kingdom. Getting lost in the moment, I forgot where I was for a second as a blanket of comfort washed over me.

I snapped out of my bewilderment when I heard the deep chuckle of the man beside me, still tightly clutching my wrist. "Impressive, isn't it?" His voice echoed throughout the room. I answered with a mere hum of agreement, unable to find the energy to speak with him.
He sighed before leading me to one of the many seats among the table. Relaxing my body into the cushioned seat, I turned my head slightly to the right as I heard some commotion behind me. I almost jumped in surprise as a plate with [favourite food] was placed in front of me. I looked up at Felix in confusion, the familiar feeling of being intimidated returned as his threatening eyes stared down at me.
"Well? Go on. Eat."
Wasting no time, I picked up the utensils and greedily began to eat. I hadn't realised how hungry I was until now, considering I hadn't eaten in days. Savouring the taste in my mouth, I didn't notice several other men enter the large room.
After I had finally finished the delicious food, I looked up at Felix. Only to find that he was surrounded by several others, I recognised every single one of them. Except one of them, I had definitely seen him before but I couldn't pin point where.
My heart suddenly dropped when I realised who it was. Seungmin.
My eyes filled with tears as my vision became blurry. "Seungmin? W-what... I don't understand..." he replied with a deep chuckle, clearly mocking my sadness.
"Oh come on now [name], it was so obvious who I was. Because let's face it, the only ones who would ever voluntarily sit down and speak with you, is us. No one else likes you." Fast flowing tears began streaming down my face, hitting the empty plate below.

I think that what makes it worse, is that he was right. The truth is, sieun wasn't even really my friend, we were more mutuals than best friends. And Soobin was just my co-worker, we weren't even mutual friends.
Jeongin noticed my clear distress as I felt his warm arms snake around my waist, resting his chin on my shoulder in a comforting manner. My vision was a complete blur as darkness began to surround the corners of my eyes, indicating that I was exhausted.
I felt someone's rough hands wipe away my tears, their cold rings swiping my tear stained cheeks. Chan's sincere and concerned face brought a sense of comfort to me as he rested his hand of my left cheek.
Gently caressing the skin with his thumb.
Finally my body succumbed to sleep and I fully relaxed my body. The last thing I saw was a chilling, evil glint in the Australian mans eyes as I drifted off.

Reality's Gate: Stealing The Gifts Of The Gods
One day, earth managed to create an alternate Reality Gate. However, it malfunctioned, molding our reality with the other. In this, it became commonplace to jump between worlds, create magical wonders, destroy and create with but a whim. The biggest change though came from something that was truly unique: The "gifts" given at birth. These "Gifts" given by the gods of that reality were now bestowed upon our Reality as well. Yet, there was one person who wasn't given a gift. And in a last ditch effort of The Anomalous One to fight the gods gave him a gift since the gods wouldn't. Though it was a gift for him, it was a curse for others... This is a story about The Successor of the Ouroboros, who was given the gift of thievery, the gift of taking what the gods give to others and using it for his own purposes. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is not a good guy's story. This is someone filled with hate. This is someone who wants revenge against the gods who didn't give him a gift. This. Is. The. Anti-hero. Of. Anti-heroes. Cover art does not belong to me, rights go to the artist.

Moonshot
Gregarious businessman Evin Tumble is fascinated by the sudden and inexplicable appearance of a low-orbiting moon. Specifically, he's interested in shooting it down with a giant cannon. The moon is only about eight miles overhead, but it's high enough and quick enough that nobody can reach it by balloon or airship. He hires our protagonists: taciturn Iseult Morrin, cheerful Sean Whelan, and nervous Íde Ceallaigh, to help him with his obsession. As our heroes are dispersed across the continent to perform tasks for Tumble, and the moon-hunt draws closer, they become increasingly suspicious of their benefactor's motives and true nature. Moonshot is a story centred around struggling with confidence, the difficulty of being an immigrant, and the duality of truth, all clad in the trappings of an urban fantasy. It is character-driven, from the heart, and based on tropes and ideas that are missing from a lot of contemporary fantasy (a push beyond the flawless-yet-somehow-still-needs-rescuing-by-an-oafish-man heroine trope, a touch of cosmic magic based on the shared geometries of Celtic and Arab art).
