Earlier today,

After Xander gave me some clothes to put on he led me back downstairs. I immediately went to find Aiden, I needed to find out what was going on with him and if he's okay.

He found him standing near the front door. I ran to him throwing my arms around his neck hugging him. After a few moments I pulled away and stepped back to examine him to make sure he was okay.

I immediately got angry remembering all the times I felt him getting hurt. I growled at the thought of them hurting him. I immediately shot my head over looking at my mate.

I got so caught up in the excitement of finding my brother and finding my mate that I forgot about these important detail.

I glared at him and growled. He cocked an eyebrow at me and tilted his head.

"Is this who's been hurting you Aiden?"

I look back to Aiden. He's stammered out, "wh-what do you mean?"

"Don't lie for him" I demand!

"I felt every time you were hurt, every time somebody hurt you. I felt every time you were close to death! Is he responsible for this? Don't lie!"

"N-no!" Aiden replied. I stalked over to Xander and jabbed him in the chest with my finger as I said, "I don't care if you're my mate. I will fucking kill you if you're responsible for hurting my brother!"

He looked at me confused then said, "no one here has hurt him. We just found him a little over a month ago."

He brought his hands up to rub up and down my arms in a soothing manner and continue talking.

"No one here would ever hurt him. We found him floating down the river unconscious, badly beaten and close to death."

"We're just as angry as you are at whoever hurt him. After all he's our future Luna."

My eyes shot up in surprise. "Luna?" I questioned? And glanced over at Aiden.

"Yes he's the alphas mate." Xander said.

"The alpha has taken care of him. Thaddeus will never let anyone hurt him again. He's a good Alpha and he'll make sure of it." Xander said.

I instantly relaxed after he said this. I sighed and looked back at Xander.

"I'm sorry for my outburst. It's just, I felt every time they hurt him.

They hurt him a lot and they hurt him so bad at times. I can't tell you how many times I felt him on the brink of death and I couldn't do anything about it. I didn't know where he was and I couldn't find him." I said, my voice cracking at the end as I broke down in sobs.

Xander instantly embraced me in his arms and started rubbing my back.

"He's okay now, we found him and he's safe. None of us will let anything happen to him again." Xander said.

Aiden was just standing there looking down at the ground. I broke away from Xander's embrace and went over and embraced my brother again.

I sobbed again as I said, "I'm so sorry I couldn't find you. I'm so sorry I couldn't help when you needed me the most." He squeezed me tight. I can hear little sniffles coming from him. We stayed like that for a few more moments then separated.

"Come on let's go sit down on the couch and wait for the alpha to come back, then we can have lunch." Xander said.

Thaddeus POV

We just got back a little while ago and I'm currently in my office now. I told them I had to look into a few things and left Aiden and Abigail with Xander and Marcus.

I have a few things to do but all I can think about is Aiden and fact that we had our first kiss.

My wolf and I are on cloud nine. I can't believe I finally kissed him.

I can't believe HE, actually kissed me!

I was so surprised when he slammed his lips against mine I couldn't think for a minute. Then when he climbed onto my lap and wrapped his little arms around my neck was absolutely amazing!

The way his fingers went into my hair tugging on it. The kiss was everything I imagined it would be and more. His lips were so soft and he tasted even better than I imagined.

His skin was so soft as I ran my hand under his shirt then along his back and sides. I wanted more, I wanted all of him. But I know he wasn't ready so I had to hold back.

The way his body reacted to my touch, the way he moved his hips when he was on my lap. The soft little moments that escaped his sweet little mouth.

I feel my cock twitch in my pants. Fuck I need to stop thinking about this!

I let out a breath as I ran my hands down my face, trying to clear my head.

When we got back I had a message that Alpha Michael had spotted some more scouts from another pack along his border. They ran off when they got spotted. He said they were definitely not rogues, they had to be scouts from another pack.

Michael and I both agree, we think their scouts from Aiden's old pack. I wanted to call him his old Alpha and confront him but at the same time that would give away Aiden's location.

I'm not ready for him to know that Aiden's here yet. We haven't seen any activity around our borders yet which leads me to believe they don't know exactly where he is.

I think it's time to sit down and talk to Aiden and Abigail and figure out what's going on and what happened in the past.
