Walking into school, I stopped at my locker and I watched Tyson making out with a random girl at his locker which was just a few lockers away from mine.

"Just when I was starting to think he wasn't into girls." I chuckled lightly to myself and I slowly looked away when he made eye contact with me.

I retrieved the books for my first session of the day and I slowly closed my locker.

Just then, I felt a slight tap on my shoulder and I turned around to see Chase.

"Oh...hey, Chase." I greeted him as I leaned against my locker with my books in hand.

"How are you doing?" He casually asked, while he placed his hands into his pockets.

I inhaled a deep breath.

"Well, I'm doing just fine." I assured him with a nod.

Then I watched as he glanced in a direction before his eyes returned to me and he slightly chuckled.

"Well, Tyson seems to be giving one of us the stink eye." He said while he ruffled his hair.

I rolled my eyes.

"He's just being an ass as usual." I shrugged it off while I looked at the books in my hands.

"And here he comes." I heard Chase sighing and I raised an eyebrow in silence.

"Hey, Chase." I waited while Tyson suddenly appeared and I watched as he stood beside Chase.

"Hey, Tyson." Chase chuckled, awkwardly and I looked between both boys as they exchanged glances.

"You guys are so weird." I exhaled a deep breath as I looked the other way in boredom.

"What was that?" I heard Tyson asking me and I ignored his presence.

"Well, I will see you later." With that Chase slowly walked away from us with a wave.

"What do you think you're trying to do?" Tyson enclosed me as he placed his hands up against my locker while stepping into my personal space.

"Excuse me?" I looked him in the eyes as my breathing hitched in my chest and he chuckles.

"You are still a pathetic little rich brat with a smart mouth, who desires male attention and now, you succeeded with catching my friend's attention." He assumed while his light blue eyes searched my face for reaction.

"Is that all you have to say?" I asked, curiously before I shoved him out of my personal space.

He smirked.

"Well, aren't you a tough nut to crack." He laughed, coldly as he crossed his arms over his chest while staring at me.

"Your words were like bullshit to my ears and unfortunately, I'm allergic to bullshit, so too bad for you." I told him with a simple shrug and he watched me in silence.

Then I waited until he opened his mouth to respond before I decided to walk away with a slight smirk on my face.

*********

I caressed the back of my neck in exhaustion as I walked down the hallway with my eyes closed for a split second.

Then suddenly, I opened my eyes to bump into a chest and I waited for the person to groan at me.

"Um...what are you doing?" I heard a male voice asking and I took a step backwards.

"I was just waiting for you to growl at me." I admitted while I looked at him and I realized he seemed familiar.

As I continued to look at him, I discovered his hair was styled upward like Tyson. His hair was also dark brown and he had chocolate brown eyes.

"Well, my name is Mason." He chuckled as he introduced himself.

Oh, he's Mason?

"I'm Ashley and I'm guessing, you're one of Tyson's pals?" I assumed while gesturing a finger towards his chest.

He nods.

"And I'm guessing, you're that girl who told Tyson off?" He predicted while his eyes narrowed with curiosity.

I nodded, proudly.

"It was so fucking hilarious." He admitted with a small chuckle.

I stared at him in surprise since I thought he was going to be an ass about the situation.

"No one in this school as ever told him off, since he is the school's bad boy and I didn't even expect a girl to do it either." He smirked while his eyes started to check me out.

"Wow, so I did the school a favor?" I asked with a raised brow.

"Kinda, it was a big deal, but not anymore, I guess." He chuckles with a shrug of his board shoulders.

I slightly smiled.

"Why is he such an ass, while you and Chase seem completely different?" I asked, curiously while placing my hands on my hips as I looked at him.

"You met Chase, huh?" He asked while he leans against the wall with his eyes pasted on me.

I nodded.

"Well, let's just say, he's complicated." He shrugged while looking down the hallway.

"More like a completed bastard." I scoffed while crossing my hands underneath my chest as I lean against the wall as well.

He slightly chuckled.

"Well, you did give him a piece of your mind on the first day of school and you did parked your bike in his parking spot." He stated as he returned his attention to me.

I rolled my eyes while I looked at the few students walking in the hallway.

"So, if he's being an ass now, it's just for the time being until he finally gets over it." He told me while he shoved his hands into his pockets.

I shrugged it off.

"I didn't remember you wearing glasses before..." He said as he stared at my face.

I shook my head.

"Sometimes I wear them in class when I end up sitting at the back." I confirmed while I straightened the black rimmed glasses over my eyes, which I forgot to remove.

He slowly nods.

"Let's go get you some lunch." He genuinely suggested and I nodded in agreement.

We both began to walk towards the canteen area and by the time we both entered, I watched as most eyes came our way with curiosity.

"Why are these bitches glaring at me?" I asked myself, but my words came out louder than expected and I heard Mason chuckling beside me.

"Are you that popular?" I asked, curiously as I stood in the lunch line while he stood beside me.

"Well, I wouldn't say I'm popular, but I'm well known in school." He claimed while looking at me from sideways with a slight smirk on his face.

I scoffed as I bought my lunch and we exited the lunch line to find an empty table in the canteen.

"Aren't you going to eat?" I questioned when I realized he didn't buy any lunch.

"No, I don't eat the canteen food." He rejected in disgust as he shook his head.

Then I slightly chuckled to myself while we took a seat at an unoccupied table.

"Hot and popular boys, huh." I mumbled as I placed my food tray on the table with my bag.

"What?" He chuckles as he looked at me and I smirked at him.

"Hey, Mason...you found Ashley." I looked as Chase appeared at our table and I watched as he took a seat beside Mason.

"Yes, I found the legendary girl who told off Tyson and broke history." They both laughed at that point.

I slightly chuckled.

"What are you guys doing here and sitting with the newest Nerd in school?" A boy with reddish hair and dark blue eyes appeared at our table.

"And how is this bothering you, Ivan?" Mason decided to speak first and I felt tension raising in the air while I stared at the unknown boy.

"I thought you guys were supposed to be bad boys." He claimed while he looked between Chase and Mason.

"Why don't you go and play fetch with someone else?" Chase asked him, bluntly.

"I'm trying to make a point here." Ivan gestured his hands before he checked me out.

I continued to sit quietly while I began to eat my lunch.

"You better start moving." Mason raised his voice as he stood up from his seat.

I glimpse to realize students were currently looking our way in the canteen.

"Or else what?'' Ivan decided to challenge Mason while he looked away from me.

"Ivan." A notorious voice popped up at our table and I exhaled a deep breath while looking at my lunch.

"Are you seriously trying to pick a fight with my friends?" I looked as Tyson appeared behind Ivan with a glare.

"You won't prove anything." Tyson said as he flexed his arms with his eyes partly closed.

"Um...no...sorry." Ivan looked at Tyson before he took a step backwards and began to walk away.

Then Mason decided to have a seat at the table, once more and Tyson slightly chuckled as he watched Ivan walking away.

"Are you okay?" Chase asked me while he relaxed in his seat and I slowly nodded.

"Of course, she is." Tyson returned his attention to our table as he took a seat beside me.

"She just got all the attention she always wanted." He claimed while he ruffled his hair with his eyes closed.

I removed my glasses as I slightly glared at him.

"Why are you behaving so toxic with her?" Chase asked, curiously with annoyance in his eyes.

"Why am I the bad guy here?" Tyson chuckled as he looked at Chase and I continued to eat my lunch in silence since I didn't have anything good to say.

"You're always trying to hurt her feelings and she didn't do anything to us, bro." I almost choked when Chase spoke those words.

"Say what now?" I intrude into their conversation rather argument, but no one looked at me.

"It's not my fault you have feelings for her." Tyson shrugged and the glaring begins.

"Just because she told you off on the first day, you are trying to get back at her." Chase scoffed.

"It's funny you should mention that, since I almost forgot." Tyson slowly turned his attention to me and Chase rolled his eyes.

"I was just starting to think I was invisible." I told Tyson and he seemed bored in the eyes as he looked away from me.

"Just be friends with her and see what she's like, bro." I heard Mason suggesting while gesturing a hand at me.

"And what if I don't want to?" Tyson raised a brow.

"And what exactly am I like?" I asked, curiously as I looked at Mason with a napkin in my hand.

They stared at me.

"If you don't want to, well you could continue being miserable with her for the rest of the school term which might end up being more boring at some point." Mason smirked as he looked at Tyson with a sign of manipulation in his eyes.

"But..." Tyson exhaled a deep breath while leaning back in his seat.

I slightly chuckled since Mason seemed to be the fatherly type of friend to Tyson.

Tyson glared at me and Mason narrowed his eyes.

"Fine, but only because you're my right hand." Tyson pointed to Mason before groaning in irritation.

"So you two, please do the friend thingy." Mason looked between us with an amused face and Tyson raised an eyebrow at him.

"What thing?" I questioned in confusion while looking at the boys.

Chase slightly chuckled.

"Plus, I never agreed with being friends with him." I pointed out and Mason looked at me while Tyson scoffed.

"Ashley, be a good girl." Mason told me with narrowed eyes and I stared at him before my lips started to curl into a smirk.

He just had to say it...

"He should probably do the 'friend thingy' first, just to be safe." I said as I pointed at Tyson and Mason winked at me.

I slightly smiled.

"Friends." Tyson said while he awkwardly extended a hand.

I looked at his hand.

"Friends?" I said, but more likely as a question as I shook his hand and he nodded before retreating.

"Perfect...so, we cool now?" Chase decided to inquire while looking at Tyson.

Tyson shrugged it off as he looked the other way.

"I seem pretty good at this, don't you think?" Mason asked, while looking between us and Chase slightly smiled.

We both rolled our eyes.
