《Checkpoint》Crime spree part 1

Mal was hunched over a box inside of a alley, dressed in their disguise. As they worked they sung a classical song to themselves.
gypsy, oh tell me,
does she want to marry me?
mal duck taped two aerosol cans together, both ready to burst at any moment. Then Placed them on top of a pile of shredded paper and dry leaves for kindling
gypsy, oh tell me,
when will the wedding be
a can of turpentine placed next to the aerosol cans, was getting charcoal lighter fluid poured on it
she cried,
she cried,
mal took a bucket of paint thinner and began spreading it around
listen to what the Gypsy said,
oh, no no no no no no no
they got up, splashing the flammable liquid onto the nearby building,
Listen to what the gypsy said,
oh no no no no no no no
mal climbed through the broken window of the building and opened a bottle of nail polish remover
Gypsy! Say it ain’t true
mal began pouring it onto the carpet
watch out, oooh she doesn’t love you
watch out, ooh she doesn’t love you
Tossing the empty bottle aside, mal took a bottle of bleach from underneath the sink, and splashed it on the cabinets
Gypsy! Say it ain’t true!
they continued to sing to themself as they did a spin, spraying a can of hairspray as they did
watch out, ooh she doesn’t love you!
they stopped spraying, did a bow, then climbed out the window. They finished up by, going back with the fire box, placing the box in the room, and leaving out the window again.
Taking a couple steps back, mal took a look at their work and deemed it suitable. Taking even more steps back until they were about 10 feet away from the building (About 3.02 meters), mal pulled a bottle of ‘damn Daniel’s white vodka’ (I was trying to think of an alternative to jack Daniels, and my brain did this) with a soaked rag stuffed in the top, with a ‘dic’ lighter in the other hand, (someone stop me) they lit the rag and threw the Molotov at the house, lighting it in flames.

the house belonged to Mal’s aunt Betty, who testified against them in court, (wow petty) and they took a few seconds to enjoy the display, before running away. Even as they ran, the contents of the ‘fire box’ could be heard combusting and exploding in the distance. On to the next target.
——————————————————
with a ‘click’, Mal had finished rigging a bomb to the door of a storefront. Stepping out the back door before blocking it shut, mal moved on to the next building.
with the materials from shops, bomb making was much easier, which is why mal was currently planting door bombs in near by buildings, (okay, i’ll let y’all have a hint about Mal’s past) luckily for mal, an old coworker had taught them how to rig explosives to detonate upon the opening of a door. (What the fuck was your job mal?)
mal wonder what their old company was up to, they haven’t met in person in twenty years, and had lost contact 15 years ago. Mal made a note to take a visit to one of their warehouses after they were done with this stuff, it should have lots of useful items for them.
Mal took a look at the sky, the smoke from aunt Betty’s house could be seen even from the storefront, a mile away, nice. “Oh well, time to get back to work” mal announced as they strolled to the next store.

All the while, he can’t help but envy the the students who are living the life he had so eagerly awaited. But when an object of great and malevolent power promises to make good on all the promises the mages broke to him Mar is thrust into the world of magic. Mar will find that fate had something more than a life confined to the library planned for him after all. Authors Notes: I consider this to be a comming-of-age Sword and Sorcery story based mostly on the style of classic western fantasies. So if that's your thing then I encourage you to take a peek. Something I want to mention though is that the main character starts of pretty wimpy, and that might not be your thing. That being said, if you stick with him he's got a long way to grow. Also, while this version of the story is meant to be fully readable, more dicerning readers may want to wait until I move out of rough draft phase. There may be some inconsistancies with character and plot while I am still in the rough draft phase. I'm sorry for this, but this is my first web novel and from what I've read the best way to get a good novel out is to write write write, and then edit ruthlessly after you're finished with the book, so that's the plan I'm going to follow. Again, this is a rough draft. Everything you are reading is subject to change, including the name, title, and cover photo. This may no longer be the case once I've decided I know where this fiction is going and I have a reasonable understanding of the characters and their behavior. You're reading what comes off my keyboard as it's made, with very limited editing. There will be mistakes in the text. I do a quick spell check to take out the worst of the errors, but there will be some I miss. You can point them out in the comments if they are particularly confusing or glaring and I will try to fix them, however I am not overly concerned about minor errors as this is not the final draft by any means.

Oh Great, I Was Reincarnated as a Farmer.
What do you get when you cross Home Alone, Isekai, litrpg, and a farming simulator? You get Arnold’s life, that’s what you get. Accidently murdered by a cleric in another universe in a botched resurrection, Arnold, a semi-pro gamer, finds himself incarnated into the overweight corpse of that universes version of him. It could be a bad joke, but apparently, it happens so often that they have a standard procedure for returning you. That standard procedure doesn't apply to Arnold. Now stuck on a new earth with no way home, Arnold must use his gaming skills to figure out how to level his farmer class to 100 and gain a new class that doesn't make him want to beat his head against the wall. There is one little problem. Farmers don't gain experience from killing monsters. Like at all. Follow Arnold as he comes to grips with his new reality and discovers creative ways to improve it.(This was originally put up for feedback purposes, so I could finish my final edit, before publishing on Amazon. There were originally only going to be 20 chapters, but I needed more feedback so I bribed the readers to reread my new first chapter with 4 more chapters. The whole novel will not be going up on royal road. This novel will be taken down on the 10th of May.)Amazon link below. Oh Great! I was Reincarnated as a Farmer
