It didn't take long for Gates and Sunny to get to the Fremont district and they'd found the building without much hassles. A large Brick building without doors nor windows.
"How the fuck does anyone get in?" Gates said in frustration.
When he looked down he saw a metal trap door on the side walk. There was an elevator that came up and that was the way in. But it was locked and there was no way to pull it up by hand.
He looked around and saw a fire escape and it went up to the roof. He could get in that way. He went to the trunk of the Cadillac and pulled out a fishing rod.
"You always got some trick up your sleeve don't you," Sunny said.
"We'll see if it works." Gates fished for the ladder and finally hooked it. He reeled it and it slowly came down.
They climbed up to the roof and went in through and AC vent.
Inside was modern set up like a biomedical lab. Gates could see the boxes and he was sure it was Crystal Meth and Ecstasy pills.
He put two and two together. This Sheek guy was chemist and he made drugs and sold them at the raves.
Sunny put Toto down and the dog found the scent of something and ran off.
Sunny went after him and Gates followed.
They went to the basement.
"Ah this is nothing but a fucking goose chase." Gates saw a can of paint on the ground near freshly laid cement. He kicked the can and something caught his foot, almost tripping him. When he turned around, he saw a hand sticking out of the cement.
"Oh my god, that's Sheek," Sunny said. "The tattoo on his hand. It's a pink bunny. That's my trademark. Who could have done such a thing."

"This is Vegas, Princess, anyone could have done it. If this guy was cooking maybe he made a deal with wrong guys."
They heard footsteps coming from the hallway and before they could hide from perhaps the ones who'd hacked up Sheek, they saw Rico.
""Rico," Sunny said. Her first reaction was to run up to him and give him a hug but then she remembered they were fighting. Then she saw the blood on his shirt. "You did this!" Sunny blared. "You and your Scarface obsession."
"It wasn't me. I just got here. I was suppose to meet Sheek here. So I really need the money."Rico saw the blood under the tarp and the hand sticking out of the cement. "What happened?" Then he saw Gates. "And who's this, Sunny, you're already cheating on me this old guy."
"Hey, I'm not old," said Gates. "Listen, its nice that you guys are getting back together, I'm sure you'll make it work. you crazy kids are in love. I can tell. But I have to go. If you can just pay me."
Sunny reached into her bag and pulled out the fifteen grand she'd promised Gates.
"hey that's my money, "said Rico. He charged Gates and attempted to knock him down. Gates moved out of the way then tripped Rico onto his back.
"Well, it's been fun," Gates said and he towards the exit.
He was about to leave when two large Japanese Sumo looking men walked into the room.
"Shit, this just keeps getting crazier and crazier. "
Gates tried to run out but one of the men hit him and knocked him out.
The other grabbed Rico off the floor.
Sunny grabbed Toto and they told her to follow.
"Oh, Toto, this is just some crazy dream."

Single Mother Cultivator: Determination to deny her naïve son a terrible destiny
Lucia Martinez had to fight for every little victory in her life, especially when she was responsible for raising a teenage son by herself. But when the teen gets summoned to another world by a dysfunctional martial sect as their would-be savior, she’ll have to fight harder than ever just to get him back. Brought along to a world of Eastern fantasy, Lucia finds herself face to face with obscure magical creatures, various rich cultures, and a familiar yet unique chi-based magic system that every faction has their own way of looking at. Single Mother Cultivator is as the title suggests, a Cultivation novel. Unlike other Cultivation stories, this one focuses on multiple Asian mythologies rather than just Chinese myth, and isn’t just a generic power fantasy. It explores the very nature of strength itself, and how it could and should be used. The foundational power system is the same for both major factions, with differences in their philosophies on how to pursue it. New chapters on Mon-Wed-Fri

Almost a Good Person
A memory, a memory of a boy who wanted more than pain, of a girl who wanted more than death, and an Isle that should not exist. The Isle of Red is a small, unassuming, quiet place. It is just large enough for a college, a small town, and maybe even a few more unusual sorts of places. Of course, the townsfolk practically know each other as family. Flush-faced regulars can be found toasting just about anything in the Briar's Brew, then, a few streets away, the same haggle of older women stationed themselves on their perch as they did every day from one of the few balconies in Central Square. They fuss away now, spouting the usual gossip as they watch us all from on high. Then there is the College here on the Isle of Red. My college. It has been often described as an unusual place by a good deal of people on the mainland. If they only would visit -why I am sure they'll soon have a change of heart, they may even come to find it a quaint sort of place, odd but in the same way a tattered old quilt can be both odd looking and warm, and especially soft. We teach mostly the same sort of disciplines here, with fantastic and absolutely normal professors.I must conclude that I am quite smitten with myself. The stage is set with a level of perfection that would have astonished me in my youth. They are coming. Derek will follow her. He knows the weight of reality too intimately, but she will be his true north if only for a short time. A beacon in the storm to show him the stunning pastels and brightness the sun may yet refract through his thinner, sharper pieces. Theoline will lead as she always has- well not always, not yet. She holds onto questions feverishly tight, that one. Lights them up inside like a new type of fuel without the slightest worry of being burned. She knows... There is but a certain few who can look at a map and find nothing where I stand but the Atlantic Ocean. And still, there is earth beneath me, a noisy pub down the road from me, and several people clucking conspiratorially on a balcony above me. She knows... that the Isle of Red doesn't belong here. Neither, technically, do I. (Hello!
