《My Innocent Flower ( Jasper Hale x Maleoc)》Chapter 16: The Start.

It's been two days since his mom had called, she usually calls everyday but now she hasn't. So Sammy made a bold move and went to the phone and tried to dial the number.
Sammy looked at the phone for a good few minutes and all he could remember of the number was the first three 262. Sammy pouted and stared at the phone's three numbers hoping that the rest will appear.
Esme came around the corner and as soon as she spotted Sammy. She walked up to him and saw the phone.
"Did someone call Sammy?"
Sammy looked up and had a frown on his face and shook his head no.
Esme looked at the phone and saw the three digits and had a soft smile on her face.
Knowing that he was trying to call his mom, but seeing that he didn't know the number.
"Here."
Esme gently took the phone and pressed the rest of the number in and hit the call button.
As soon as Sammy heard the ringing tone of the phone. He gently but eagerly took the phone and had a big smile on his face. He went to the couch. The place that he always had the phone conversations with his mom.
Esme was in the door way smiling at the young boy. It's true it's been two days. They first thought that maybe she got hold up. Something came up? Or she just couldn't call, but now the next day after, it's a little strange.
They weren't too worried but it's just a little weird. But hopefully she will pick up and explain it. Hopefully.
As Esme was coming back from her thoughts she saw a sad look on Sammy. First she was confused but then she heard the tone of the phone going to voicemail.

"Hey it's alright. Maybe we can try again later?" Esme said trying to cheer him up.
Sammy just gave a slight nod and gravely gave her the phone.
"You know I heard form a little flower someone wants to play a game! Maybe some tag or something.?" Esme said.
She knew that after that one day Sammy loves playing games they've played games ever since that day.
Sammy quickly looked over and got his giant smile back. He nodded eagerly and bounced while giving a little giggle.
"Oh so you're the little boy that flowers told me about!" Esme said while tickling the boy who was now full of laughter.
"I'll tell you what let's wait till the others are back from their hunt. An we can play okay?" Esme said.
"Okay Esmey!" Sammy said.
Giving a bright smile that easily brightens everyone. Even the flowers that are currently shining brightly.
"Come on let's go wait."

The others had finally arrived back at the house. They all discussed about playing a game and that's when Alice bought up baseball. An how she found a good field to play in.
For obvious reasons Sammy has never played any sport like that. The only games he had played were with the Cullen's. An they were extremely careful about that.
They all agreed to do so. An Sammy had went to get dressed and get ready to play ish.
Sammy put on sparkly rainbow shoes, while clicking them together. For the lights to flash on, reflecting off of his movement.
Once everyone was dressed and ready to go, they all ra. While Jasper was kind enough to drive there. So that they could get stuff set up.
Once they got there, they went over the rules. Mostly for Sammy's sake and went to get themselves into teams.

Bella, Emmet, Alice and Carlisle in one team while the other team is. Jasper, Esme, Rosalie, and Edward. It was a surprise to them that Bella even wanted to come and play.
But in her mind, if she's playing then maybe they'll pay attention to her again.
For obvious reason Renesme and Sammy were watching and also judging the game. Sammy cheering for both sides and not just Jasper.
Or even his team, which surprised them all.
People tend to go for there lovers side. An mostly cheer for them, Bella did that's for sure.
Sammy looked down when he felt something in his foot. An that thing was vines, from the flowers that he saw the other day.
He followed the trail and saw all kinds of flowers, and it looked like there were waving from the leaves on them. He giggled and waved back, and got even more happy as they glowed.
Jasper looked at Sammy once he heard his giggle. Only to see that he was looking in a completely different direction. He wasn't at all concentrated on the game anymore. Jasper followed his line of sight, only to see the giant pile of flowers waving and glowing.
The others looked to where Jasper was looking, and couldn't help but chuckle at Sammy's 'friends'. They all paused the game just to see how this will play out. An they would've too if it weren't for a pissed off Bella.

Gaming on a MUD is difficult.
This is a story based on my characters background and journal that I played on a mud (Multi User Dungeon) over the course of several years. Dozens of people play a text based command line game at the same time. I figured I'd try to turn in into a story to see if anyone found it interesting. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. This is my first time so not very experienced. It is a story about how going into a multi player game expecting a typical RPG experience turns into something else because other players are involved.

Loot Sisters
Loot Sisters is a light-hearted flash fiction serial of 100-word episodes inspired by RPGs and hunting for quests. I don't have a set plan for where the story goes, as each week, I write my story around three random words posted weekly on The Prediction (an online flash fiction challenge group). I hope you enjoy the story! :) My characters include Maya (the narrator and a bit of a rogue-like character), Vera (our healer/mage), Felicia (resident navigator and lover of gadgets), and Rach (a fighter/brawler). Cover illustration is of Maya by Luminita Pham.
