《The Secretary》Jokes

I woke up, still lying on top of Jensen. He peacefully slept underneath me, he arms still wrapped protectively around me.

I observed his sleeping state, he looked so peaceful, so young, vibrant in a way. His chest rose and fell with each small breath, his body relaxed and at ease.

I slowly started to climb out from his arms, until he tightened his grip around me and held me closer to his body.

"Stay." He mumbled. I sighed and pulled out my phone. 9:57 am. The time read.

Crap! We forgot about Jj! I thought, shooting up and straddling Jensen's hips, his hands falling to my hips. He opened his eyes at my sudden movement, a worried expression quickly overwhelming his face.

"We forgot Jj!" I said, urgently and then climbing off of him, grabbing my shoes and shoving them into my feet.

"Y/n." Jensen said. "Y/n." He said again, placing his hand on my shoulder.

"What?" I said, pulling my face to his after tying my shoe.

"I called Jared after you fell asleep on top of me, and told him that we would pick her up today, sometime around 2."

"Wait, what?" I said, processing what he was saying. "Why?"

"Because I didn't want to wake you up, and because I wanted to spend sometime with you so you could get used to me pampering you all the time like how I used to." He said.

I rolled my eyes. "You should be pampering your daughter, not me." I said sarcastically.

"Don't worry she'll be pampered, I just wanted to spoil you first. So what is it that you want to do today?" He asked.

"Hmm..." I hummed as I thought about what I wanted to do today. "First, let's plan what we are going to do in California besides go to the beach, then we'll go and get some food, preferably some breakfast croissants. Then after that-" I started.

"Okay princess, slow down. How about we get some breakfast first, and then we start planning. Then will go from there." He said.

"Okay." I nodded. "But I'm going to need to go back to my place to check on the dogs - Oh my god! The dogs! I completely forgot about them I've been so distracted-"

"Y/n, clam down. I have everything under control okay? Your dogs have been taken care of, along with Joker. Your bags are packed and ready to go for the beach, and everything is set in stone except for the last parts that you wanted to plan. Relax." Jensen cut me off.

"Really?" I asked, surprised that he took care of everything for me.

He laughed at my reaction. "Yes, really. I told you I wanted to make this work, so I'm putting my best effort. Now, let's go get those croissants that you wanted." He said, pulling me with him as he stood up and grabbed his keys.

He dragged me out the door and to his truck, opening my door for me, and closing it after I got in. He then ran around the other side and hopped into the driver's seat, and starting the engine.

Pulling out of the driveway, he grabbed my hand, I don't think he meant to, he just did it subconsciously, just like how his thumb was running slow circles around the back of my knuckles.

"So what were you up to before, well you know, all this?" He asked.

"Well, I was working for your business, and becoming really close with Jeremy. He became my best friend, but he would always ask about you, guess I should've seen it coming." I said, pulling my hand away and looking into my lap.

"No one could've seen what he did to you coming. If he acted like your best friend for all those years that I wasn't there for you, you wouldn't, couldn't have seen that coming, even if he did ask about me all the time." Jensen said, grabbing my hand again and continuing with the slow circles. "Why was he always asking about me anyways?"

"He said that you were his idol and he wanted to know every little detail so he could become like you. He would say things like how you inspired him to become an actor, or a song writer, or make a change in the world and show kindness to everybody. Guess the whole acting thing was true though."

"Wait, Jeremy is an actor?" Jensen asked, glancing at me then back to the road.

"Yeah, I didn't think much of it though, I mean I know the whole supernatural cast, and that's all because of you."

Jensen smiled, then asked. "What was his last name again?"

"Rutkins."

"He must not be that big of an actor because I've never heard of him."

"I guess." I said as Jensen pulled into the drive thru to the breakfast place.

He put in our order and we ate in the parking lot, chatting softly about what we have been doing the past few years, laughing and giggling.

It was just like old times, when it was simple then, when we would just sit there in the car as teenagers, laughing and smiling, making in fun of each other for the stupid small little things, and watching as we grew older and stayed close, to where we started our own beer company, but then drifting apart after his marriage.

I smiled at the memories that were good, and pushed the bad ones aside. Jensen kept telling these corny jokes, and I would laugh every time because no matter how corny they were, they were still pretty funny.

"Okay, okay. So there is three girls, a brunette, a blonde, and a redhead. They all get in a plane, and this is a special plane because you can roll down the windows. The three girls get hungry so they each pull out a snack. The brunette pulls out an apple, bites into it and says, 'this is to juicy' and she throws it out the window. The redhead pulls out and orange, bites onto it with the peel, and says, 'this taste like a disgusting peel.' And she throws it out the window. The blonde pulls out a bomb, lights it, bites into it and says, 'to crunchy' and she throws it out the window. The plane lands and the girls go to a nearby park. There is two kids crying and one kid laughing. They go up to the first kid and ask why she is crying, she responds by saying, 'an apple fell out of the sky, hit my kitty and then she ran away'. The girls move on to the second child who is crying. He says 'an orange fell out of the sky and hit my dog, and he ran away.' The girls then went to the boy who was laughing. They asked him why he was laughing so hard. 'My dad farted and the house blew up!'" Jensen said.

I burst out laughing at his stupid joke and tears sprung out of my eyes.

"You're such a dork." I said.

"Maybe, but I am a cute dork." He said, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Yes, Jensen. You are a cute, dorky goofball and that's why your my best friend."
