War is a necessary hindrance

A booster of economy and technology

And display of dominance for which it's an honour,

to stand and fight.

Fall.

Lives lost but not all for nothing

Brave and strong, they fought for

Freedom, liberation, security, and civilisation

Spreading patriotic inspiration.

War is a necessary hindrance

An easy form of population control

But also a nation's defense to protect

The people it holds oh so dear

from an enemy of evil.

War is the reason for unity

Connection, equality, and prosperity.

But war is not a necessary hindrance.

A facade of glory in unnecessary deaths

A lie of enemies when there are just two sides

Fighting for the same things with different reasons.

War is not an empty land with opposing forces

that leaves only the fighting soldiers

With post traumatic stress disorders.

War is an unnecessary solution

A country's display of dominance

Costing more than the damage it leaves behind.

War is the orphan witnessing their parents

slaughtered before them although innocent

Children raped and tortured for reasons unaware

War;

War is an unnecessary solution

That becomes glorified due to the lack of knowledge

of bondage it causes

To those left to survive the destruction they didn't cause

On both sides of the battlefield.
