Once when The King Akbar

Was on his way to another town,

He was accompanied by just Birbal

Together they went down.

But the road was really long

So Akbar was tired of walking,

"Birbal can you shrink the road?"

The reply was extremely shocking.

He responded, "First you answer

Five of my given riddles,

And then I'll do whatever."

Akbar agreed as he had nothing else.

Successfully the King Akbar

Rightly answered them all,

And teased Birbal "Oh! Poor you,

I did it. Now can you recall!"

"You promised you will make

The road shorter for me,

I even answered them correctly

But you can't do it, you see?"

"But Your Majesty, you don't know

I already did it for you,

We even reached the destination."

To hear this, very happy Akbar grew.

So that's how 'The Clever Birbal'

Proved himself the smartest of all,

And with his great skills, he won

The heart of the King so tall.
