"Y/n is out. We have moved the taming challenge a day forward. Everyone is allowed to try their hand at taming Y/n. Please remember to try not to hurt Y/n as her ribs are broken." A loud voice coming from everywhere yet nowhere said.
The loud voice hurt my overly sensitive ears. I closed my eyes, trying to dull the pain of the headache that was about to come.
Rushing, yelling, frantic, panic, chaos.
All of it streaming in through my ears and into my head.
Something touched my back and I snapped my eyes open to see it. Despite the pain shooting through my head, things were about to get much, much worse for me.
The plan was in motion. We set up an idiot. And the chief said we could do anything we wanted as long as it didn't hurt Y/n. We'd gain her trust, and the idiot would get the blame for her escape.
"You ready?" I whispered to my partner in crime.
"Yeah. Let's do this and get the nightfury." She whispered back.
After a short pause, she asked, You sure the idiot is in place and will do it for sure?"
"I have no dobt. He'd do anything for his family title."I reassured my partner in crime.
"The perfect pawn." She agreed.
Thrash, angry roar, dodge, repeat.
I don't know what the humans want from me. They surrounded me. Some offer me fish, others try to say odd things. Some try to hit me and tell me to be submissive. They all seem to want to touch my face though.
I fight back, I shoot. I try to escape this mob surrounding me. It's no use. I'm out of shots. The only thing keeping me alive is my adrenaline filled blood.

Away from the people, toothless sits like a king, completely undisturbed.
How dare he. He promised me that he would help me escape and find freedom without incident. He promised to get my out of this alive.
"HOW DARE YOU!!!!!!" I roared at the top of my lungs. I charged past the humans, crushing anyone who stood in my way.
This was all his fault. This was all toothless's fault. That human loving dragon set me up. He was dead as a doofus as soon as I got ahold of him.
My claws and teeth were already extended. I ran into him, my front claws digging into his shoulders and forcing him backwards. He fell over, blood dripping from his shoulder. WIth my claws still hooked into him, i forded him up onto his legs.
"This is all your fault. You promised. YOU PROMISED ME! YOU TRAITOR." I screamed at him.
"I-I. Y/n. This wasn't supposed to happen. It wasn't supposed to go this way."
"Like Nadder's tail it wasn't. You planned this."
"No, Y/n, let me explain, it wasn't, it's not what you think."
"No. I'll kill you as punishment for betraying your own kind."
With that, i prepared myself to do the one thing i thought i would never do.
Kill a NightFury.
"Roar! Roar! Roar!" Something roared.
What dragon actually said roar in a roar?
Curious, I looked around. A dangerous move in the middle of a fight, but I couldn't help myself.
I mean, what kind of dragon roared the word roar as their roar. It was just stupid.
A weird looking dragon, with a boxy face, saggy torso, skinny legs, and floppy tail was standing not far away.

It was the strangest dragon I had ever seen.
I pulled my claws from toothless and walked over to it, circling it. What was it?
It had two eyes. Two ears. Two nostrils, a mouth, teeth, neck, odd body, 4 legs, and a floppy tail.
"What is your name, and what species do you belong to?" I asked demandingly.
"Uh. Roar. Roar." It responded.
This wasn't a dragon, it wasn't smart enough to be one.
Maybe it was a sheep dragon crossbreed?
With the looks of a dragon and the brains of a sheep?
Nah. That was impossible.
"Hey. How do I say follow me in dragonese?" The dragon whispered.
"Um? Rawr Roar Growl Rawr Rawr? I think? Try it." A voice from the stomach of the dragon said.
I did a double take. Dragons certainly didn't do that. Or have talking voices in their stomach. Or talk to the talking voices in their stomach. Whatever game it was playing, i didn't like it. But so far people were keeping away from it, so it'd be safer to stick with it.
"Can we move yet? My feet are killing me." The stomach voice said.
"I don't know if it understood that last rawr. It might not follow us."
"Well, we're running out of time. Let's just go and see if it follows us."
'Okay. Whatever."
It was hard to keep track of the stomach conversation with the body, but it seemed to want me to follow it. I was curious about it, so why not?
It started walking forward slowly, it's head turned to look at me. I circled it a few times, keeping up with it's slow pace, observing it. It definitely wasn't a dragon for sure.
It led me to a wall where i could hear sizzling on the other side. An explosion happened and the weird dragon thing was violently thrown into me. I held my ground and supported the weird dragon thing.
A hole was in the wall before us.
There was a hole in the wall!
I could escape even though I couldn't fly!
I nudged the weird dragon thing onto it's feet and started walking toward the opening. I kept a careful eye on the dragon thing in case it was hurt.
There was a human on the other side of the wall, and he stopped to attempt to touch me. I gave him a glare and wacked him out of the way with my tail. The people in the area behind me were running after me and my friend's attempted escape. I made a run for it and realized I had lost my weird not dragon, dragon friend. It was a slow runner. It was going to get captured by the humans if i didn't do something.
Using my reserved strength, i ignored my pain and called for help. It was a plea, not as alpha, but as a fellow dragon. Dragons from everywhere flocked to us. They blocked the humans and let the strange dragon and I make our escape into the forest.
