After class, I walked back to the dorm with Tate.

"So why don't you just date Zach?" She asked me.

"Ugh. We're STILL on this?"

"I won't stop being on this until your under him...wait that doesn't work because oh would you look at that, you already are!" She said, teasing me.

"I don't know Tate..."

"C'mon Whit! What are you waiting for? Luke to text you again?"

Just as she said that, we saw Luke, my ex, sitting outside our dorm.

"Speak of the devil." I said, rolling my eyes.

"Whitney!" Luke said, running up to me as we tried to avoid him.

"I can't hear you!" I said walking away from him.

He continued to follow us. "Whitney please let me talk."

"Oh by the way, when I was saying 'Mr. Loverboy' was texting you, this was who I was talking about but good to know where your mind's at. Good luck!" Tate winked at me and ran upstairs leaving me in the lobby with Luke.

"TATUM DAHL I SWEAR TO GOD-"

"-Whitney."

I turned back to face Luke. "What? What do you want?"

"Why aren't you answering my calls? My texts?"

"Because we're over Luke." I told him, rolling my eyes.

"You said that last time too..." He said smirking at me.

I laughed and shook my head.

"Well I don't know what to tell you Luke."

"C'mon Whit, just give me another chance. You know I love you."

I looked at him for a long time. Why did I like to do this to myself? Rope myself back into a relationship that I knew would only hurt me in the end?

"Can I have a couple days to think about it?" I asked.

"Of course, of course. Take as much time as you need. I'll be waiting." He said, rubbing my shoulder.

I shrugged his hand off, "I'll call you."

He nodded and left the dorm.

I sighed and walked upstairs.

I don't know why I did this to myself.

Later that night

"So you never finished telling us about the sex?" Gabbie said, finishing applying her face mask.

"There's nothing really to tell." I told her, trying to avoid the topic as I took out the popcorn.

"Of COURSE there is." Christina said, sitting down on my bed. "There's ALWAYS something to tell when it comes to sex. And plus, it's been almost a year since you guys started this little...arrangement let's call it...so there's gotta be SOMETHING about his...performance, if you will...that must be so amazing."

"Is he big?" Tate asked leaning forward, eagerly.

"TATE!" I said, throwing my pillow at her.

"No that's a good question! Is he?" Gabbie said, also getting more interested.

"He's....sure that's part of it..." I said, smiling at them.

"I KNEW IT!" Tate yelled.

I threw another pillow at her, knocking her off of the bed.

"Is that all though? I mean, c'mon there's gotta be some chemistry there." Christina said.

"I don't know we just...have really AMAZING sex." I told them. I couldn't believe I was sharing this with them. Zach would kill me.

"It's cause there's no feelings attached. That's gotta be it." Gabbie said.

"Nah, that can't be it." Tate said, getting up from the floor and back on her bed. "Because Zach told Jonah he's in love with her."

"What?"

"Wha-"

"WHAT?!" I nearly fell off my bed.

"Tate is that true???" Gabbie asked.

"I'm sorry. You misunderstood. What I MEANT to say was...was...nope. No recovering from this one." She said, flopping back on her bed in defeat.

"Looks like Tate might be the next one to be newly single cause lord knows Jonah's gonna kill her for this." Christina said laughing.

"You guys can't say anything! Jonah wasn't even supposed to tell me! Zach told him that in confidence."

"It's fine. I don't believe you anyways." I told her.

"Whit!"

"Girl."

"C'mon."

"I don't! Besides I'm...I'm getting back together with Luke anyways."

"I'm sorry what now?" Gabbie said, nearly falling off of Tate's bed.

"Dude, you can't get back with him." Christina said, shaking her head.

"I will shun you!" Tate said, pointing at me.

"Tate, you live with me."

"Well, I'll...I'll...I'll figure it out." She said, defeated.

I rolled my eyes. "Our breakup wasn't even that bad. I went too hard on him."

"Yes because when I get ghosted, I too let that person back into my life." Christina said, sarcastically.

"Wow. Thanks for the support guys." I said.

"Whatever you do we'll support you though." Gabbie told me.

"Good. Then get ready to welcome Luke back into your lives."
