It was getting late. All the band members were getting ready to leave the hospital. I stayed in my spot on the edge of Taehyung's bed as he slept. I wanted to stay with Taehyung. The whole day I kept the tears from escaping his eyes.
"Are you sure you want to stay? I think you should get some sleep," Jin said, a worried look on his face.
"I want to stay here with Taehyung. Even if I go home, I won't get any sleep," I replied.
"I understand. Just... try to get some sleep, ok?" Jin said. The members started to exit the room.
"Goodnight Jungkook," Jimin said, yawning.
"Goodnight," I mumbled.
They walked out and the doctor followed, closing the door behind them.
A few minutes had passed and Taehyung hadn't waken up yet. As I waited, I scrolled through social media. After a minute or two, I came across this:
BREAKING NEWS! Korean K-Pop idol fell off stage during concert!
At the end of BTS's concert, BTS's Taehyung fainted and fell off stage! Many ARMYs are worried about their beloved Taehyung. He is currently in the hospital and will undergo surgery in just a few days. Watch video here!
I couldn't bring myself to watch the video. I couldn't bear to see Taehyung like that again. I put my phone away and looked back at Taehyung. I was getting tired and began to doze off as a voice awoke me.
"Ow! Jungkook! Jungkook! Please!" Taehyung yelled as he winced in pain. Jungkook was beside Taehyung in a second. He started to worry.
"I'm here Tae, don't worry," Jungkook said. Taehyung feebley raised his hand.
"Please, Jungkook. Hold my hand."
Jungkook grabbed Taehyung's hand and held it tight. His breathing was fast and shallow. Jungkook could tell he was in great pain.

"It's ok, I'm here," Jungkook repeated. Taehyung squeezed Jungkook's hand.
"Do you want me to get the doctor?" Jungkook asked. Taehyung nodded and winced in pain again. Jungkook ran to get the doctor.
"Doctor, please come to Taehyung's room. He's in great pain." Jungkook pleaded. The doctor nodded and followed Jungkook back to Taehyung's room.
After the doctor examined Taehyung's head, he said, "His brain is swelling up more and more. I'll give him some pain medication, but the only way to solve this is to perform surgery as sooner. Maybe even tomorrow. We'll need to do the surgery soon, before we are too late."
Jungkook went pale. He thought his heart skipped a beat. They couldn't be "too late".
Jungkook closed his eyes. This was all to much.
