"So glad I don't have to drive myself today." Harry smiled, feeling most comfortable in the passenger seat of Louis' car.
Well, his new car.
It was Friday, which was why Harry started the day off in a good mood.
Louis driving him just added on to that, plus today he and Zayn would finally present their project and get it over with.
It'd been about a week since his and Zayn's truce, and things between them had been very peaceful.
"You have a rehearsal this afternoon don't you?" Louis smiled.
Harry looked at him. "You remembered?"
"Of course. You act like I never listen to you." Louis chuckled.
"I want to come watch."
"Okay, I'd like that. Maybe after we can go get something to eat?" Harry suggested.
"Sure, if you want."
Harry smiled, scrolling through Instagram.
"We can do whatever you want. Maybe go shopping?" Louis asked.
"Okay, but for what?" Harry asked, liking an aesthetic picture.
"Whatever you want. More clothes? Jewelry? Shoes?"
Harry paused, looking up and gripping his phone tighter.
"Why?" He asked, looking at Louis.
"Why not?" Louis shrugged, trying to be casual.
"Louis tell me the truth." Harry said, staring at him.
"Okay I'm a little offended by your tone-"
"Louis!" Harry snapped.
"I won't be here this weekend. I'm coming back next Wednesday, we're doing a bunch of shoots around L.A." Louis admitted with a sigh.
"Oh." Harry said, his heart sinking.
"That's why I want to make today and tonight special. I went to spend as much time with you as I can." Louis explained.
"You buying me presents isn't us spending time together. How about after rehearsal you just take me home and we have a movie night?" Harry asked, ignoring the fact that Louis possibly wasn't going to tell him that he was leaving.
Plus, he did it last minute and only because Harry asked.
"Like I said, whatever you want." Louis nodded.

"But...maybe a little going away present for me?" He asked, smiling some.
"We'll see." Harry said, knowing exactly what he wanted.
"I'll be persuasive if I have to be."
"Yeah last time it was a two-thousand dollar ring." Harry smiled at him.
"This time maybe a new phone?" Louis suggested.
"Lou, I don't need a new phone." Harry chuckled.
"You're not buying me a phone in exchange for sex."
"Hear me out though, what if I told you I had it specially made?" Louis smiled.
Harry looked at him. "I'm listening."
"You have a black iPhone 7, correct?" Louis asked.
"I do, and it's fine. I don't need a new one. If you want to have sex that bad, fine." Harry chuckled, tucking his curls back away from his face.
Truthfully he felt that Louis didn't deserve sex, but whatever.
"What if I told you I got you a specially made pink iPhone 7 plus?" Louis smiled as Harry gasped.
"You went on and on about how cool it would be to have a pink phone rather than a pink case, so I had one specially made."
"You already have it?" Harry asked.
He couldn't help it, he was excited.
Louis nodded. "You can have it tonight."
"You spoil me too much." Harry said.
Louis smiled.
"Well of course babe, you're mine."

"I'm going to die." Zayn whined.
"Think about it like this," Niall began, trying to calm him down.
"The class lasts like an hour and a half right? Your presentation will only be like five minutes out of that. It won't last that long."
"Yeah." Zayn said uneasily, close to pulling his hair out.
Niall stared at him, wishing he could help somehow.
"I'm gonna throw up-"
"Hi boys!" Leeroy called with a finger wave, strutting over to them.
"Hey." Niall said quietly, looking at him.
"Why so gloomy? And...twitchy?" Leeroy frowned looking from Niall to Zayn.

"It's friday! Cheer up! There's another party this weekend, you two coming?" He asked next.
"No, never again." Niall said quickly.
Zayn shook his head also, and Leeroy pouted.
"Why not?"
"I woke up on your bathroom floor at six in the morning. I'm still grounded and probably will be until I'm eighteen." Niall complained.
Leeroy looked at Zayn. "What about you?"
Zayn shook his head. "Parties aren't my thing."
Leeroy's eyes sparkled a bit and he began to smile. "Well you certainly seemed to have fun at the last one. Have you and my brother made out anymore?"
"What?" Niall asked loudly, looking at Zayn.
"Oh, did I faux pas?" Leeroy asked, placing his hand on his chest.
Zayn sighed heavily, glaring at him.
"I guess I'll go. Hope I haven't caused any drama." He said, strutting off.
Niall stared at Zayn, waiting for an explanation.
"Do I have to talk about it?" Zayn practically whined.
"Yes! What the hell happened?"
"I just....we just kissed some. We were drunk, it didn't mean anything. He hasn't even acknowledged my existence since he came here." Zayn said casually.
"But...I mean....how-"
"That's all there is to it. We were drunk, it was pointless, we're bascially strangers." Zayn said.
"Wow." Niall said.
"No wow. Just...nothing." Zayn shrugged.
"But that has to be awkward."
"Nope. Nothing."
"Well...was he a good kisser-"
"Drop it! Okay? Please just..." Zayn trailed off, tense now.
"Sorry." Niall said quickly.
He looked down at his cleaned plate, wondering what was so special about Liam.
Sure, they were drunk, but the guy still got to kiss Zayn.
What did it take?

"So in the end we both concluded that humic acid is the substance that the seeds sprouted the fastest in." Harry said, waving his hand in front of their project board while his other hand was on his hip like some game show model.
Zayn hadn't said a word throughout the whole thing, gripping the counter and trying not to let his knees buckle under him.
"Okay, thank you." The teacher droned, signaling for everyone to applaud.
Zayn rushed back to his seat, sitting down with a heavy sigh.
"You survived." The girl in front of him teased, turning and looking at him.
He gave her a look, and she laughed a little.
"I saw Louis drive Harry to school today. I guess he still doesn't know about you two."
"There is no us two. Okay? We're barely friends, I have no interest in him." Zayn snapped quietly.
"So you're interested in Liam." She smirked.
"What?" Zayn frowned.
"Please, Leeroy told me about you and Liam at the party." She scoffed.
"Okay look, what I do is no business of yours."
"I get that. But I mean it's totally obvious that you're going to end up with Harry or Liam. It's obvious that something is going to come from what's already happened." She said.
"Who the hell are you again?" Zayn asked.
"I play Megan but my name is Naomi." The girl replied.
"Okay, well how about you quit acting like you know everything, okay? Quit...acting like you can predict my next move. Stay the hell out of my business and get a life." Zayn said coldly.
She stared at him. "Fine."
She then turned back around, and Zayn held his middle finger up to the back of her head for a moment before he sighed and put it down.
Harry, who had been watching, couldn't help but laugh.
Zayn looked over at him, and Harry quickly stopped, worried he'd piss Zayn off even more.
But Zayn smiled at him.
He smiled back, nothing but teeth and dimples, which made Zayn chuckle.
Harry then smiled to himself, glad Zayn didn't act like he hated him anymore.
