《Cubits Can't Save You Now (In Progress)》Chapter 21: An Unexpected Encounter

Cut to the Cragsters and the Infernites looking down upon the portal where they saw the creatures from last chapter.
"I don't know if I should go in there, curiosity did kill the Mixie Cat." Said Flain, concerned.
Vulk and Zorch looked down upon the portal, only to find that the inside of it was glitching, and then it immediately switched from a sky view of somewhere on Earth to somewhere in Mixel Land, where an all-out battle had happened between mixels and.. glitchy whatever-it-was.
"Now this is interesting." Zorch said to himself.
Zorch hopped inside the portal and cheered on the fight.
"Zorch? Flain said we shouldn't be in there." Worried Vulk.
"Come on, it's not like it'll hurt anybody!" Exclaimed Zorch.
All of a sudden, a flying mix of Rokit, Past Zorch, and Past Seismo flew out of the portal with Corrupted Nurp-Naut following the mix. Two of the Series 1 tribes looked at the commotion in the sky in either shock, confusion, or entertainment.
"Krader, me scared!" Seismo told Krader.
"Yeah yeah, me too!" Worried Krader.
Krader and Seismo then hugged in fear of the commotion, while Shuff and Zorch were cheering on the fight.
"Guys, don't encourage it, this could be really serious!" Flain told Zorch and Shuff.
Cut to the mix and Corrupted Nurp-Naut, where Corrupted Nurp-Naut was flying around and dodging the mix's fire-coverd rocks. The mix kept shooting and shooting, causing the rocks to hit the sides of his head, part of his cheek, and his shoulder. However, Corrupted Nurp-Naut attempted to bash the mix, but the mix had dodge him.
"YOU AIN'T GETTIN' ME THIS TIME!" Shouted the mix.
Suddenly, Corrupted Nurp-Naut suddenly bashed into the mix, causing it to split into Rokit, Past Zorch, and Past Seismo, and all three of them were falling down.

"QUICK! DIG-DIG!" Shouted Krader.
The Cragsters suddenly dug into the ground, popped out of the spot where they thought the three mixels were about to land, and ran around in an attempt to catch the three mixels.
(Fun Fact: This is a callback to an episode of Mixels called "Mailman".)
"I CATCH ZORCH!" Shouted Krader, with a worried expression upon his face.
Past Seismo suddenly crashed onto Krader with a loud thunk noise.
"I CATCH!" Shouted Shuff, also having a worried expression on his face.
Past Zorch suddenly landed next to Shuff, on his left. Shuff looked at Past Zorch in confusion.
"Oops." Said Shuff.
Cut to Seismo, Flain, and Vulk running around to try and catch Rokit, with Zorch standing by, still chanting "fight". Suddenly, Rokit swooped over Seismo, Flain, and Vulk, with Corrupted Nurp-Naut still on his tail.
"I did not see that coming." Admitted Flain.
*Commercial Break*
Meanwhile, the four mixels that the Nindjas saw a bunch of chapters ago were walking past a dumpster, only they were wearing giant boxes as nixel disguises this time.
"Okay, if anyone asks, just say 'nix'." The Glorp Corpian told the other three mixels.
Two of the mixels said "nix", but the purple mixel said "uh.. ix-nay", and then the Glorp Corpian told the mixels that's it's better to let him do the talking. However, Boogly screaming is heard in the background, which slowly becomes louder by the minute.
"Wait, do you guys hear that?" Asked the Glorp Corpian.
Cut to Boogly screaming flying downwards in a spiral kind of way, with two nixels on his rear legs who are both attempting to hold on while Boogly spirals downwards to the ground. When Boogly reached the ground, he did not touch it, bit he did change course and quickly flew in circles in the alley where the four mixels were.

"GET THEM OFF!!!" Yelled Boogly.
"Hold on, just spin faster! The nixels can't hold on longer if you go faster!" The Spikel of the four mixels shouted to Boogly.
Boogly didn't hear the Spikel, but the Nixels flew off of Boogly anyway due to the force. One pointy-eared nixel slammed itself onto the wall and fell onto a sleeping Gobbol while the other nixel (aka a cat-eared nixel) flew into a window.
"AGH! A NIXEL!" Shouted a mixel from inside the window.
*Commercial Break*
Cut to an overhead shot of Boogly and the four mixels. The Glorp Corpian cautiously asked Boogly who he was.
"..Uh.. I'm Boogly?" Questioned Boogly.
The Glorp Corpian paused before introducing himself and the other three mixels.
"Boogly, why did you come here with nixels on your legs?" Asked Zabo.
"Because Boogly saw nixels attacking Globert and Vampos and Nindjas! It was horrible!" Worried Boogly.
The four mixels gasped as they had realized the Nindjas were no more.
"Not the Nindjas!" Shouted Blip.
"..Uh.. why do you have boxes on your heads?" Asked Boogly.
"They're a disguise, and I think you should probably get one too. We're going in the I-Cubit tower and saving Globert and Vampos." Said Booger.
Boogly gasped in delight, as he just realized that his tribemates were going to be saved after all. Cut to inside Gobbol, where we see the Newzers hiding inside.
"I smell a story!" Realized Screeno.
"Dude, we're in a dumpster." Reminded Myke.
Cut to back outside of the dumpster, where Booger gives Boogly a giant box with one giant hole for Boogly's face, four small holes for his legs, and two medium stick-shaped holes for his appendages.
"Alright, follow me, and only say 'nix' if anyone asks you anything." Said Booger.
Boogly and the four mixels then walked out of the alley. Meanwhile, the Newzers jumped out of Gobbol.
"Come on! We've got to follow them!" Exclaimed Screeno.
Gobbol’s lid slams shut and he closes his eyes. Cut to the kids and Boogly walking to the front of the I-Cubit building, where pipes of Cubit essence flow on the sides of it. They stop for a car to drive past and continue walking. The Newzers follow right behind them, and stop across the street.
"It’s the I-Cubit building." Screeno said to himself.
The Newzers look up at the top decoration. Cut to the kids and Boogly.
"Dude, they have security." Realized Scrud.
Cut to two Nixel mechs that step in front of the door.
"Robo-security." Corrected Boogly.
"You know, just stay cool, and leave it to me." Assured Booger.
The kids and Boogly stop in front of the mechs.
"Uh, nix, nix?" Asked Booger.
"Nix, nix!" Said Scrud, Blip, Zabo, and Boogly.
The mechs look at each other and step aside, as the doors open. The kids and Boogly walk through.
"Nix!" Said Zabo as he waved at the mechs.
The doors shut and the mechs shrug at each other. Cut to the interior hallway of the building. Various I-Cubit posters are on the wall as a zombified Gummo walks past, moaning. Cut to an elevator, where two Nixels are waiting.
A zombified Squiddo shambles out of it and the two Nixels get in, one standing on the other to press a button.
"Hold it, hold it!" Shouted Booger off-screen.
"WAAIIIT!" Shouted Boogly, also off-screen.
The Nixel jumps off the other as the kids and Boogly board the elevator.
"Thanks, fella." Said Booger.

What it did was take him on the journey of a lifetime. A lot of lifetimes, in fact. This is a cultivation/wuxia story at its core. May contain young masters, martial arts and magic. * 14/08/2020 - Rough editing done on the published chapters, hooray! Now to resume normal - edited! - releases.

Solace, along with Sage's family and the entire school, thought he was dead. After months of criminal investigations, search parties, and missing persons posters, he was nowhere to be found. But what happens when Sage shows up at her doorsteps in the middle of the night, bruised and bloody?***"Sage?" whispered Solace in utter shock. He smirked at her as he leaned against the doorframe, looking her up and down from her blue penguin pajamas to her oversized t-shirt until he met her eyes. She felt a rush of emotions when she heard his voice after six months. It was the same: deep, unbothered, and familiar. "Solace Laurent, I need your help."
