《Cubits Can't Save You Now (In Progress)》Chapter 12: Accidental Arrival

"There it is!" Shouted a cheery voice, pointing at a pink, glowing light.
Rokit and Teslo screamed as they crash-landed into the light, climbing out only to find a pink ring jabbed in Rokit's right eye and Rokit's dome was partially broken with some globs of white stuff in it. Teslo used the electric part of his tail to light up the room, which revealed to be a giant cave. When Teslo looked down, he found that he was in a pile of white goop. He taste-tested it and found that it tasted sweet, like mixmallow fluff.
Wait, mixmallow fluff? Why would mixmallows be in the middle of a cave?
"Um, excuse me?" Asked the cheery voice.
Rokit yelped and attempted to shoot lasers at the voice, but he missed and shot parts of the ceiling instead.
"Rokit, stop!" Shouted Teslo.
Rokit stopped and turned towards Teslo.
"Well, I'm sorry for wantin' to STAY ALIVE!" Yelled Rokit.
"Stay alive? But you're already alive!" Questioned a feminine country-accented voice.
Teslo pointed his tail-light at the voices, and he and Rokit saw a purple creature in glasses and a red shirt, a yellow creature with a long, curly tail, and a pink rabbit in magenta overalls. The yellow creature and the purple creature gasped in surprise as they saw that Rokit had the pink ring lodged into his eye.
"That's the sparkle stone ring Daizy gave to me!" Exclaimed the yellow creature.
"Excuse me, sir? Can I have that back, please?"
Unaware of the ring jammed into his eye, Rokit got confused. He scratched his head but when he touched the ring, he yelped in pain.
"Rokit, it'll be okay. I'll just yank it out." Teslo told Rokit.
"Easy for you to say, you were only BORN with one eye!" Rokit spat back.

Teslo grabbed on the ring and attempted to pull it out, but the ring was too lodged in to get out that easy. Teslo tried harder, and it worked, only the eye was pulled out along with the ring. Not noticing Rokit's new look, Teslo pulled the eye off of the ring and rubbed the blood off of it. When Teslo offered the ring back to the trio, they got disgusted by the fact it was pulled out of someone's eye.
"I think we should wash it first, if we have enough time." Suggested the yellow creature, and then he grabbed the ring.
"Welp, this has been nice, but we've gots to get goin'." Said Rokit.
Rokit pulled himself out of the pile of mixmallow fluff and then he pulled Teslo out. Rokit grabbed a bunch of mixmallow fluff to put into his eye socket to prevent any blood loss, and then he grabbed Teslo and then they flew towards the portal.
"Don't you need a bandage for that eye before you go?" Asked the purple creature.
Rokit turned towards the purple creature, an expression of annoyance upon his face.
"Oh, so now you have bandages." Said Rokit, sarcastically.
Rokit floated towards the purple creature to get some bandages, but he stopped once he heard a rumbling noise.
"Agh, the Darkness is here!" Worried Teslo.
"'The Darkness'?" Repeated the yellow creature.
"QUICK, RUN FOR IT!" Shouted Rokit.
Rokit and Teslo zipped through the portal that they came out of, away from the cave.
"Oh no, we're actually in a marshmallow-" The purple creature's thoughts were interrupted by a giant blast of marshmallow fluff being shot out of the floor.
"..That wasn't mixmallow fluff?" Teslo asked himself.
When Rokit and Teslo landed, four of the Alphablocks gasped in shock while Niksput covered Nurp-Naut's eyes.

"..Oh, right." Said Rokit.
Rokit's eye started to twitch, and then his guns were lighting up for just a second.
"...Who are you guys?" Asked Rokit.
In confusion, Niksput blinked twice and stopped covering Nurp-Naut's eyes. Nurp-Naut switched to Naut and asked just what the heck happened.
"Actually, what?" A asked herself.
"I have no idea. One minute I was-" Rokit twitched his eye again, and then he was back to normal.
Rokit looked around, only to find that Niksput stopped covering Nurp-Naut's eyes.
"I thought you were afraid of my missing eye." Said Rokit.
"Yeah, but... you kinda acted.. you kinda-" As if to finish Niksput's sentence, Nurp-Naut chimed in without question.
"You acted like you completely forgot us." Interrupted Naut.
"Huh?" Questioned Teslo, P, A, and T.
"Excuse ME!?" Shouted Rokit.
Teslo had no idea why the heck Rokit acted like the opposite of himself just a few seconds ago. He wasn't acting this way before, so how did.. wait, what chemicals did that marshmallow fluff have in it? Teslo walked closer towards Rokit, grabbed a glob of marshmallow fluff, and licked it. It tasted sweet, but it didn't make Teslo get amnesia like what it did to Rokit.
"Wait, Rokit, maybe it's because that white junk got into your brain." Niksput told Rokit.
"Please, as if sweets made me forget ANYTHING!" Complained Rokit.
"No, he has a point!" Teslo told Rokit.
Due to Rokit's new 'situation', Teslo had to take him somewhere where there would be a river where the mixmallow fluff could be washed off. However, you viewers might think he was thinking about the ones where the corruption took over, but Teslo was thinking of a different reality (in our cases, a different Mixels episode) due to the discovery he and the Infernite Cousins had found before he discovered the dark blue hallway of portals.
"Hang on, I have an idea." Said Teslo.
"But first, you have to follow me."
"Perfect planning!" Exclaimed P.
"Totally, tip-top!" Agreed T.
And so, the group of eight cartoons set off to find a portal to where Teslo was looking for. A few hours later, Rokit's amnesiac side kicked in.
"Where are we going again?" Asked Rokit, confused.
"Mixel Land." Said Teslo.
"Are we there yet?" Asked Rokit.
"No." Said Niksput.
Nurp-Naut switched to Nurp and then it was going to be twice as annoying with two people repeating it.
"Are we there yet?" Asked Rokit and Nurp.
"No!" Said Niksput.
"Are we there yet?" Repeated Rokit and Nurp.
"We're almost at that place!" A told Rokit and Nurp.
"No more asking, we are not there yet!" N told Rokit and Nurp.
Rokit and Nurp paused for a few seconds, but then they decided to repeat their question one more time.
"Are we there yet?" Asked Rokit and Nurp.
Nurp-Naut switched to Naut, who was clearly ticked off, but not angry.
"Can you two can it? We're trying to survive this apocalypse!" Complained Naut.
Rokit twitched his eye and then he was back to normal one again.
"Is there a faster way to get there? I WANT THIS AMNESIA OUT OF MY HEAD!" Shouted Rokit.
"Calm down, we're already here! Sheesh!" Teslo told Rokit.
Cut to a portal which shows the into of Coconapple. Cut to a close-up of Rokit and Nurp-Naut.
"Ah, about time!" Exclaimed A.
"Finally!" Said Rokit.

A Sinner's Eden
The Earth of the future is united under a single government, but not all things are well. The shape of the playing field may be changed, but the powerful still rule the weak. And those who do not conform with the rest of society are exiled to another world. A world that not even the technology of the future managed to tame.It should have been humanity's New World but ended up as nothing more than a penal colony. A place where the exiled are sent to die. Motivated by revenge, Magnus sets out on a quest to bring his own justice to his enemies. For that purpose, he is willing to go further than most others. But then he learns that if he truly wishes to change things, he can only find his answers beyond the gate. Having lived most of her life as an exile, Astra is a woman of few interests aside from survival and climbing the ranks of her clan.To achieve those goals, she certainly won't be squeamish when a chance literally falls into her lap, or will she? ——————————————————————————————— I am trying to go with a survival/medieval setting in this one. People from a technologically advanced society are thrown into a world where they can't maintain their tech. They are forced to rely on medieval technology where they have to make do with the limited resources they have and what little of their old technology is still working. Their gene manipulation allows them to have something akin to superpowers, but that doesn't help much against the monsters of their new world. Not sure yet whether sufficiently advanced technology will be discovered later on to count as magic. ——————————————————————————————— Author's Comment: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently, I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur)

The London Phantom: A Superhero Webnovel
London is an old city. It has survived floods, fires, plagues and the man-made smog of industry. It has stood firm against the armies of Vikings, Saxons, Normans and the aerial might of the Luftwaffe. It has borne witness to dynsatic feuds, civil wars, military occupation and the sin of regicide. Through all these disasters the city has survived not through force of arms, though its walls were once the envy of the world, but through adapting to the times. Enemies become dependant on the city, and the wealth of the world that flows through it, and so become new allies. If the rulers change, then the city welcomes them with open arms, and open lines of credit. In this way the city seeks to preserve its ancient rights and position of power. Superheroes are a new phenomenon. The first superpowered man walked out of the Nevada desert in 1950, and the world was forever changed. Across the planet, men and women with exceptional abilities made themselves known. At first, they were little more than another source of fear in the era of Mutually Assured Destruction, but over time attitudes changed and the concept of the Superhero was created in the city of Los Angeles. From there the phenomenon spread across the globe; superheroes went from being feared arms of the state to a symbol of hope in these maddening times. Times have changed. Sixty years from the emergence of the first superhero, the City of London stands on a precipice. Two years have passed since the madman Fawkes nearly brought down the United Kingdom and the remnants of the Bow Street Runners, London's premier superhero team, are struggling to keep order in a city that seems on the brink of collapse. London stands on a knife's edge, with criminal organisations that once stuck to the shadows becoming more bold, and ancient powers from myth and legend making themselves known. Alexander Laszewski has recently 'awakened' and has become entirely unremakable, effectively making himself invisible to the world. He must use his newfound power to navigate a city on the edge of collapse. If only he could figure out how to turn it off.
