《Alpha Cravings》Chapter 17 Break In

Heading into the library after training to see if I could find any information about what was happening to me, or anything about my mark I came across Charlotte, Phil and a few others in a game of cards. As I approached them, I noticed that Charlotte had a blank expression on her face and the others around her were looking thoughtfully at their cards. Charlotte pushed every bit of money she had into the centre of the table, as the others put half of theirs in. Dropping all their cards on the table I seen that Charlotte had won the game. Gathering the money from the centre of the table the others labelled her a cheat but wanted a rematch. Leaving them to it I headed to the werewolf section. I grabbed a book and made my way to an arm chair by the window. Opening up 'History of the white wolves' I started reading.
Feeling hungry a few hours later I decided I needed to take a break so I made my way to the kitchen to grab a coffee and something to eat. Instantly thinking about Damon, I grabbed him a sandwich and coffee as well. Heading to his office I opened his door; he was on the phone. Sitting the tray on his desk he grabbed me settling me on his lap. "Ok great I will see you in a day or two." spoke Damon into the phone, then hung up.
"That was Alpha Johnson from the Bright Star Pack. He wants me to visit his pack so we can work on strengthening our allegiance with one another. Is this for me as well?" he points to the tray of food and cups of coffee.
"Yes. When are you going?" I ask.
"I was thinking of heading there tomorrow. Would you like to come?" He asked taking first a mouth full of coffee then picking up a sandwich.
"I'm not sure yet, I have started reading the 'history of white wolves' but nothing has been mentioned about my extra powers or mark." I tell him while picking up my sandwich. Finishing my sandwich and coffee a few moments later I ask "How did things go with Jacob and Boyd? Did they agree to the Beta and Gamma positions?"

"Jacob jumped at the chance, Boyd was a bit reluctant but, in the end, he came around knowing Melissa would be the Gamma female and would be able to help him with his duties." Finishing the last of his coffee he buried his head into my neck inhaling my scent.
"So, I've been thinking about your Eighteenth birthday how about we take off for a couple of days just you and me?" he asked lifting his head and looking me in the eyes. Thinking for a moment I answer him "sounds good, but I'm not sure if mum or dad have anything planned for my birthday."
"How about we go a few days before then." he asked.
"Ok it's a date." I say while kissing him on the cheek "I should get back to my research." Trying to get off his lap he grips me tighter "not so fast sugar I think I deserve a bit more than a kiss on the cheek don't you think?" Letting out a giggle I give him another kiss on his other cheek. I go to leave again. "Is that all I get?" he says with a wink. "Ok fine" I reply while wrapping my arms around his neck. Before I had a chance to kiss him the phone rang. Sighing I got off his lap, picked up the empty dishes from lunch and headed out the door.
Back in the Library, I resume my reading sitting back in my comfy chair. A while later I got the feeling someone was watching me Ella agreed with me. Looking around not one person was in sight, strange I thought as I resumed my reading.
Finishing the book two hours later and still not learning anything new, I head back to the wolf section and grabbed a few more books. Sitting back down in my comfy chair I peered out the window as I thought I had seen someone standing by the forest line, but on closer inspection nobody was there.
I hadn't realised I went to sleep until I heard my cell phone going off. It was Damon. "Hello!" I answered.
"Phoebe where are you? I've tried mind linking you a few times and nothing." Came Damon's frantic voice through the line.

"I'm in the library still. I accidently went to sleep what's wrong." I ask. I heard him sigh in relief before he answered "Nothing, just dinner are you hungry?"
"No. I was thinking of just going to bed. Do you mind?" I just don't know why I felt so tired. "No that's ok I will bring you something later." he replied.
Ending the call I closed my book and made my way to the Fifth floor.
Opening the door to my suite I realised something was wrong. Stepping into the front area I realised the whole living and kitchen areas were a mess. The lounge and recliners were over turned, there was broken glass everywhere, my food contents I kept in the fridge was opened and tipped on the floor, cups, plates broken. I instantly linked Damon "Damon come quick someone has been in my room." cutting off the link I head to my bedroom. That was worse, my clothes were shredded, my quilt, sheets and even my mattress was ripped and torn. The picture I had of Damon, Jacob and I when we were younger smashed. I inhaled the air trying to catch any scents but there was nothing. Opening the door to my bathroom my breath caught in my throat. Written on the shower screen in my red lipstick were the words YOU WILL BE MINE.
I stood there frozen. I had that feeling of being trapped in my own head again, but still had my senses about me as I was able to sense Damon, Jacob, Dad and Jason Black around me when they entered. I still couldn't move I'm sure my mouth was open in shock.
"Calm down doll, deep breaths. Breathe in, breathe out. That's it." Came Jacobs calming voice as he tried to calm me. I then heard dads frantic tone "It's Elvia, I can sense she is hurt. I need to go."
"What do you mean?" asked Damon and I simultaneously.
Dad and Alpha Black looked at us weird. "Go to Elvia, Leo. I will take care of this." assured Jason. As soon as dad left Jason explained that mates could feel one another's emotions and pain as well as the mind link.
"I told you Damon I am an abomination." I say turning to him, with a few tears in my eyes.
"Honey! listen you're not." He came over to me and gathered me in his arms. "We will figure out what's going on I promise" as he held me close.
"What do you mean son?" asked Jason.
"Dad, Phoebe has had some weird stuff happen to her. We are not sure why."
"Like what?" He queried.
"Fire coming out of her fingers, teleportation, she made a wind storm and froze the hot springs not to mention she levitated off the bed. Leo and Elvia are convinced it's her wolf because of the heartache both of us went through when we found out we were mates. I don't think it is though."
"Strange. With everything that has been happening I don't think so either. Then there is what Ned Kelly was talking about this morning and now this. It all has to be tied somehow. I haven't even picked up any strange scents." came Jason's worried reply as he paced back and forth in thought. "Let's think overnight about the situation and re-group tomorrow. I need to go check on Elvia and Leo. Damon take Phoebe to your quarters the renovations are not finished yet, but at least you will have a bed to sleep in."
As we were turning to leave he added "Have either of you done any research?" He questioned.
Turning to face him I nodded my head to acknowledge that I had started. "Good. Go get some rest Phoebe we will deal with this tomorrow." He then walked passed us and left the room.
Not wanting to stay another moment in my room I took one final look around seeing if I could salvage anything. Not finding anything I left for Damon's suite.
Damon and Jacob followed closely behind me talking quietly to one another.
Cocooned in Damon's arms later wearing a pair of his track pants and one of his t-shirts that was too big on me, I drifted off to sleep to the rhythm of his heartbeat.

The Tales of the Revolution
Synopsis: As a scholar of science and technology, Joseph Algorith was a man who pursued his dream in unrealistic methods, using his intelligence to surpass all hurdles in this Galactic Era. He was an idealist that combined his thoughts with realism. However, unbeknownst to him in how it had happened, he had gained the opportunity to research a new system, a massive planetoid shrouded in mysteries and magic. However, to fully realize his ambition and creativity, he must save the human race of this magical world, filled with different races and monsters. “The Heavens had forced me, so I shall propose and never will be disposed of.”- Joseph Algorith Spoiler: Basically, he is reborn, with his knowledge as a scientist of the galactic era, into a new world with magic and aura powers. In this world, humans are part of the 7 major races, but two (or three) are planning to enslave them, while the others are watching on the sidelines. His plans are to develop modern weapons to strengthen the human nation because the mages and aura users aren't immortal or have steel flesh even as they get more power to the point they can deal damage of a howitzer using special moves. Though it doesn't mean that there aren't magical armours (and other things)... Extra: I'm not sure if romance will be in this. Depends on whether you, the readers, would like it or how I develop the story further. And there won't be an exact release schedule as I prefer my pace of writing and because I'm busy in life (school and extra activities, FML). If you find any mistakes, please remind me. Also, my writing style and the pace of the story may be slower than other stories you might have read on this website. Though I may make some revisions with the story, considering my editor's thoughts. Also, my story has some concepts from RTW in terms of the idea of creating weapons in a magical world, however, the plot is mine. After reading, tell me, what do you think of the beginning? What do you think your rating would be.?If possible, comment down below anything that could help me improve or to express your thoughts. Lastly, please NO COPY AND PASTE!
