《math class | gwinam x reader》chapter 22 - call me up again?

I felt my phone vibrating from next to me on my bed. I groaned out loud as I reached across my bed for it. Once again, it was an anonymous number. Gwinam?
I stared at the screen for some time until it reached what I assumed would be the last ring. I answered, and immediately recognised the voice.
It was Gwinam.
"Hello?" I muttered into the phone.
"Hello?" He said back.
And the same act as the night before had unraveled.
And that happened the next night.
And the night after that...
And the night after that.
I sighed as I watched my phone vibrate with yet another no caller ID call just as it has for the past few nights.
I glared at the screen, more curious than ever to find out why Gwinam was calling me. Every night it had just been the same old shit, kind of like a prank call, however, I could never wrap my head around why he was calling me... every night...
"Mum?" I asked, walking out into the living room to be greeted by both my mother and my father sitting on the couch in front of the TV watching the recent news affairs.
They both hummed in response tilting their heads my way as a sign of asking me what was up.
"Um..." I began, "Gwinam has been calling me... every night for five nights and I don't know why..." I said looking down, feeling slightly embarrassed about asking my middle aged parents for 21st century dating advice.
"Every night?" I parents both asked, Dad raising his eyebrows while my mother spoke again.
"I'd be careful around him." My mum began, "Didn't he bully that poor kid into almost killing their self and had to move schools?" She asked.
I looked down not wanting to admit the truth that the main subject of my current love affair had actually done such a thing to someone.
"Uh yeah." I quietly muttered.
"Be careful around him, I wouldn't answer... he might do that to you. Remember your old school?"
I sighed remembering how at the start everyone was telling me that Gwinam was a bad guy and a dipshit... Maybe he actually was.... is....

Joshua Durand has always lived in someone else’s shadow, a side character in someone else’s show. His brother was the real hero of the tale, or he was until his ‘friends’ stabbed him in the back. Now though, he’s got a chance to step into the spotlight, as long as he’s willing to make a deal with the devil. He doesn’t know if this is the right decision or the wrong one, but what he does know is “It’s showtime!” --- This is forum quest story taking place in the same city/setting as my other stories: The Huntsman's Quest and Hacking Reality stories meaning that while a majority of the plot is made up by me, the major choices as well as what each chapter is about are usually made by the actual readers in forum votes. Additionally, given how this is essentially a story version of a Tabletop game there is also a background RPG system that while the characters aren't necessarily aware of, the readers can see these stats to know how each chosen 'Action' effects their character's development.

"Do you know what to do, Amunet?" A voice as sweet as silk whispered into the young girl's ear. Amunet didn't look over her shoulder, but shifted uncomfortably on her bare feet before nodding her head. A soft hand touched her back and urged her forward. All eyes turned towards the girl dressed in transparent linen with her dark hair tumbling down her back and her violet eyes lined by kohl. Every movement caused the jewels on her wrists and ankles to dangle and shimmer in the light. She raised her head and found the Pharaoh's transfixed stare. His jade eyes narrowed in on hers and the room became still and silent. Amunet bowed and, at the pluck of a harp string, began to dance.---cover by @AddietayDoes contain reference to some mature themes that may not be suited for a younger audience.
