Wednesday
So yesterday was my first day, and it was fine. I met some really nice people and made some new friends. And well, now I find myself back in maths class.
I look up at the clock and sighed with relief when I realised that class only had 10 more minutes left. Well I would be lying if I said I was working hard, or even working. To be honest I was kind of just sitting in my desk staring at Gwinam, or talking to On-Jo. The class was studying for this upcoming exam which will take place on next Tuesday, and let me tell you, I have not, and I have no intention for studying for this exam. My teacher said he doesn't mind if I fail because I new, so I'm gonna take advantage of that because I am lazy.
"Psst. Psst, hey Y/N." On-Jo whispered. Why was the class so quiet I wondered to myself.
"Yeah, what?" I replied looking into her soft brown eyes.
"Why are you staring so much at Gwinam?" She smirked, and I blushed.
"Oh, uh, I'm not." I stuttered. Fuck, caught on my second day, I thought, seriously?
"Uh huh. Sure you are. Any way, when you're not staring at him, he's staring at you. Look!"
I looked up and sure enough my eyes were met with some cold, handsome, brown eyes. I sighed.
"Okay, he is kind of hot." I whispered making On-Jo burst out laughing, I was sure that I was going to die of embarrassment or something.
"Ugh I know right!" She replied, I smiled thanking the universe I was not the only one who thought that. "Only issue is, I think he has a girlfriend."
"What? Gwinam has a girlfriend." I quietly sighed.

"Well I don't actually know that, or think so," On-Jo began, "But like I don't know maybe if he wasn't a dipshit to everyone he would have one."
"That's really contradicting." I laughed. "If he does I'm jealous of her." I whispered and now it was On-Jo's turn to laugh in response.
We both giggled for a minute until we were silenced by the bell. I swear that school bell sounds like a fire alarm, I thought to myself.
On-Jo and I quickly packed up our stuff and made our way outside of the classroom talking about how we both think we will fail the upcoming exam.
I was laughing about something funny that On-Jo had said, when suddenly I felt a sharp impact with my shoulder and chest. I had run into something almost knocking me over. Or someone.
I looked up at the firm, muscular, shoulder that I had just run into, but then my eyes trailed up to who it belonged to.
My eyes were met with the sharp stare of a pair of familiar, cold, brown eyes. The expression on his face looked like he wanted to kill me. Shit I though to myself. I just ran into fucking Gwinam. Gwinam!
After realising who I just did I bursted out apologising to the taller boy.
"Oh my god I am so sorry! I am so sorry!" I began.
He looked down at me, smiling, and his expression softened.
"It's alright, it's alright, it's alright." He smiled at me, repeating his words.
I quickly ran away and caught up to On-Jo who was waiting for me by the stair well.
"Fuck, I just ran into Gwinam." I said, blushing from embarrassment.
"Oh my god! What happened!" On-Jo exclaimed both in terror and excitement.
"Nothing, he was really... nice..." I explained trailing off, noticing the sexy, mullet boy, walking past me, smiling when he noticed me.
On-jo giggled. "Come on let's go." She laughed.
I nodded before following behind her.
I didn't understand. Why did people say Gwinam was such a dipshit, and a scary person. I think he was kind of... Sweet...?

Dungeon Darwinism: Deepest Dungeon
Dungeons are a lot like sea turtles. They’re born in clutches of dozens, if not hundreds. A hundred may be born at one time, buried in still burning cities, or in forests where the canopy hides the sky, or in ocean trenches at the bottom of the sea. But only one in a clutch ever makes it to the surface. Everyone knows about dungeons— monstrous factories that emerge out of the earth, full of riches and Arcana and power— and monsters. But most of humanity only know about the dungeons that make it. Mark doesn’t know anything about dungeons. He isn’t from this world, and only as a victim of circumstance has he become an unwilling half of a dungeoncore. The other half is a Dark Lord. (Rewrite)
