《Javon Walton x Reader》Chapter 1- First Day

I woke up to the sound of my extremely annoying alarm. "Ughhh shut uppp goddamn!" I yelled as I hit 'stop'. I sluggishly rolled out of my warm bed, wincing at the cold air hitting my skin. It was 4:30 a.m, so I had a good amount of time to get ready for the first day of school.
I started off by placing an outfit on my bed, then moved on with my morning routine. Shower, brush my teeth, put on deodorant, etc.
After being finished in the bathroom, I did some simple makeup, such as light lipstick, mascara, highlighter and some faint eyeliner; my everyday look.
Once I finished my makeup, I styled my hair, and got dressed; like so:
(^^^you wore white converse^^^)
(If you don't like it, u can change it
After all of my morning steps were completed, the time was now 6:15, since I take a while singing in the shower.
I made my way downstairs, to make myself some breakfast, and of course to bug my oldest brother on getting me to school on time.
I was walking into my new school, scrolling through Instagram so it looks like I had something to do.
I made it to my first class, math, and thankfully there was still and empty table left, so I took it, wanting to avoid people.
I opened my math book, flipping to whatever page the teacher said, when a boy walked in late. "Excuse me, do you have a slip sir?" Ms. Marsha asked the brown haired boy. "Uh- no, my sister called me in" he awkwardly said, shuffling to the back, trying to find an open seat. Unfortunately, my table was the only one that had an open seat, whether it was filled by a backpack or a body.

"Um, could I sit here?" He asked, an awkward tone lingering. "Oh- um yeah go ahead" I said, shuffling my things to my side of the table.
The next 30 minutes went by really slowly. Ms. Marsha basically explained the rules and expectations, then let us talk the whole time. This would be nice if I had someone to talk to, but I'm not the social type.
As I pulled out my phone and AirPods to listen to some music, a voice spoke, startling me. "Sorry- did you say something?" I asked, pulling out one AirPod. "Yeah haha, I'm Jaden. I figured you might want to know that since we will be sitting next to each other for a while" he said, giving a small laugh. "Nice, I'm Y/n" I said, nodding, before plopping my second AirPod back in. His little smile faded when he saw that I wasn't interested in holding a conversation with him. I felt bad, but didn't care enough to do anything about it.
It was now lunch time and I found an empty table to enjoy my music at. I never eat lunch, at least not at school, so I spend my time listening to music.
It was not long after my music had been playing that I was interrupted by some random girl. "Hi, my name is Kylee. Since my friend isn't here today, and you seem much cooler than all the other girls here, do you mind if I sit with you?" She asked. Being the judgmental person I am, I glanced at her outfit and focused on her tone before deciding she could sit with me.
"So what's your name?" Kylee asked. "I'm Y/n, it's nice to meet you" I said, giving her a small smile. It was never easy making friends because I am picky, but I also don't put myself out there, so this was out of my comfort zone.

😏
It was now 5th period, aka art class, my favorite class. I walked in, to see we had a fairly young teacher. He was about 6 feet tall, ginger, and had light scruff on his chiseled face. The board read 'Mr. Goetz'. Hm.. German. As I sat at the table in the front, right corner, Jaden from math class walked in, causing me to sigh. Ugh. This is gonna be awkward...

Apex Predator
Earth is a fairly small place, but it's all Bath has. It's the only home he's ever known for all of his 500-or-so-million years of life. One day, Bath realized his treasured Earth was being drawn into the next mass extinction ahead of schedule. So, fascinated by the humans and their quick rise to power (after all, setting off a mass extinction is a pretty sizable achievement), what's a nearly all-powerful, somewhat bored, morally ambiguous, savagely violent, shapeshifting alien entity to do other than assume the form of a human and do some front-line investigating? Little did Bath know he would soon stumble upon a mysterious human organization with a gate leading to planets eons away. And that's just the beginning... A story with aliens, intergalactic space travel, mind powers, and an abundance of adventure! Author's note: ON HIATUS! Hello and thank you for reading! Constructive criticism and grammar-policing are both appreciated. Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are complete at 1271 pages! Part 7 is in progress! If you've ever read any other web serials, you might've noticed that authors get better with time (that is, their art or writing improves). Wutosama of Metaworld Chronicles noted that the first 20 chaps are always a mess. This is also the case with Apex Predator. The first two parts (ranging just under 30 chapters, or 161 pages) are absolutely subpar. While I have edited them as of 7-10-18, they require a rewrite, which is currently in the works but not complete. For a sample that gives insight into what the latter ~80% of the story's writing style is like, check out chapter 56. Vote for Apex Predator on Top Web Fiction! The Apex Predator Discord is here. Cover: original work done by me, the author, caerulex.

8 168Steven the Understanding
This is a quick and dirty fiction. Editing is a crutch. Steven woke up naked under a bush and things just get worse from there. Updates 5 days a week until I can't anymore.
8 121The Untitled
It isn't often we mention names. The greatest royalty, the most-skilled hunters, and often even the people we know best in the world, we know them all by their titles. Names are private, personal, sacred. This you must understand before you hear the story of The Untitled. Because to hear their story is to hear their names; the names of Legends. ---------------------------------- Based on the Monster Hunter series by Capcom. Part 2 coming to a webpage near you... soon-ish. Question mark.

Will you work with the town, who may or may not be conspirators, or go at it with your team alone? Use your judgement and logic to determine the best path to proceed and deliver justice upon the villains! (This is a choose-your-own adventurer theme fiction. I've browsed the site fairly well... But have yet to encounter this genre. If you do know of one here, do tell me. That aside, this novel is still incomplete... This is just to show that I'm not dead yet, nor have I given up.)
