Taehyung:- No more few minutes, Get up.

She told while rubbing her eyes.

Taehyung:- We need to go somewhere.

Y/n:- To where?

Taehyung:- You'll see.

Y/n:- If this is some kind of your revenge thingy then you are on your own. I don't have the energy to put up with it right now.

Taehyung:- It's not my revenge or anything. Just hurry up and get dressed.

Y/n:- Just tell me Tae, Where are we going?

Taehyung:- Why are you so impatient, Wifey?

Taehyung:- Here we are. Get off.

Y/n:- Woww. A cottage ? Who lives here?

Taehyung:- My grandmother.

He rang the doorbell and his grandmother came opening the door.

Taehyung:- Halmeoni.

Grandmother:- Taehyung-ahh, my baby... Haven't you been eating? You have lost so much of weight.Who is this?

Y/n:- I-

Taehyung:- She is my wife.

Grandmother:- What did you say??

Taehyung:- Halmeoni, I wanted to inform you but-

Grandmother:- You ungrateful brat, you just got married without even telling your Halmeoni?

She started smacking him across his head with her fist and continued beating him until he yelled out in pain.

Taehyung:- Ahhh Halmeoni, It hurts. Our marriage was a bit rushed, so I couldn't inform you beforehand.

Grandmother:- Where did you meet each other?

Taehyung:- I- S-She is my best friend's sister. He didn't approve of our relationship, That's why I- I mean we got married hastily.

Grandmother approached Y/n and examined her from head to toe. Grandmother's scrutinizing eyes on her was making her uncomfortable.

Grandmother:- What's your name?

Y/n:- Park Y/n.

Grandmother:- Your family?Other than your brother.

Y/n:- I-I have a sister too.

Taehyung:- Halmeoni, You're scaring her.

Grandmother:- Yaa, Can't I talk to her?

Grandmother:- How old are you?

Y/n:- I'm 21.

Grandmother:- That means you both are 6 years apart.

Grandmother:- How long have you been together?

Taehyung:- We dated for three years. What's with this questioning Halmeoni? Give me some food. I'm hungry.

Grandmother:- Ohh I forgot that. Why are you both standing? Sit here. I'll just bring something to eat.

She prepared every single type of dishes Taehyung liked. Both Y/n and Taehyung devoured it in one sitting. After that, they got up to leave.

Taehyung:- Shall we go now, Y/n?

Grandmother:- Go where? You are staying here for a week.

Taehyung:- But Halmeoni-

Grandmother:- Okay I understood, now that you're married, you don't need your Halmeoni?

Taehyung:- It's not like that Halmeoni,

Grandmother:- I don't want to hear anything. Just go.

Taehyung:- Fine, We'll stay. Anything for my sweet old lady.

Grandmother:- By the way, Y/n.

Y/n:- Yes?

Grandmother:- I want to meet your brother. Invite him over.

Y/n:- Sorry?

Grandmother:- Is there a problem?

Taehyung:- Yes -No, I mean he wasn't happy with our marriage, So as of now we are not on good terms.

Grandmother:- I don't care about any of that. You are going to invite him over. Now call him.

Grandmother went back to the kitchen after demanding Chanyeol's presence. Y/n and Taehyung stood speechless for a minute exchanging confused glances to each other.

Y/n:- Doesn't she know about your parents and Oppa?

Taehyung:- No. She thinks it's an accident.

Y/n:- Now what are we going to do?

Taehyung:- I don't know. She won't back off until she meets him.

Grandmother came back from the kitchen.

Grandmother:- Y/n, Did you call your brother?

Y/n:- N-No.

Grandmother:- Then call him now.

Taehyung:- Halmeoni, Let's meet him another day. He might be busy.

Grandmother:- Are you going against my words? Call him right now.

Y/n:- O-okay, I'll call hi-

Grandmother:- Not you. Taehyung will call.

Taehyung:- WHAT?

Grandmother:- What is this? Are you raising your voice at me?

Grandmother:- CALL HIM.

Taehyung:- Okay, Okay I'll call him.

Grandmother:- Then do it.

Taehyung:- I'll call him later.

Grandmother:- NOW.

He frowned in annoyance and dialled his number. Y/n had the urge to laugh but she refrained from doing so.

Taehyung:- Come to my Grandmother's house.

Chanyeol:- Hello- excuse me?

Taehyung:- Come quickly. She wants you here.

Chanyeol:- What? Who?You are not making any sense. Are you drunk?

Taehyung:- Yaa Chanyeol, just come here. You want me to beg or what? Come to my Grandmother's house.

Chanyeol:- Oh, Okay. I'll be there.

Taehyung:- Fine.

Grandmother:- What did he say?

Taehyung:- He'll come.

Grandmother:- See. It was not that hard. Children these days are so complicated.

She ambled back to the kitchen mumbling something vaguely.

Y/n:- Tae?

Taehyung:- What do you want?

Y/n:- Why are you shouting?

Taehyung:- Just go away. I'm not in the mood to deal with you.

Y/n:- Are you bipolar?

Taehyung:- Don't test my patience, Y/n. Coming here was such a bad idea.

She was trying so hard to suppress her laughter and it didn't go unnoticed by him.

Taehyung:- What? Is this funny to you?

Y/n:- I would rather go help Halmeoni in cooking than battling it out with you.

She said making her way to the kitchen.

Y/n:- Halmeoni, Do you need any help?

Grandmother:- No. Maybe you could keep me company.

Y/n:- Okay.

She stayed along grandmother and kept her company while she was cooking. They conversed about this or that during the entire time. Grandmother grew to like her for her docile nature. Their conversation was interrupted by the ringing sound of the doorbell.

Y/n:- Oh ! That might be Oppa.

Grandmother:- Taehyung-ah , Open the door.

Taehyung opened the door to find his ex best friend aka worst enemy standing in front of him with a perplexed expression. They were glaring at each other intensely for a minute until Y/n came and put an end to their staring contest.

Y/n:- Oppa.
