it all happened so fast. underneath the oak tree in my back yard. the leaves were just coming in again. the sun was shining. maybe somebody saw us, maybe they didn't.
his hand on my neck. his cherry chapstick. the taste of his toothpaste. when he pulled away he told me he'd been waiting to do it for months. i told him to do it again.
