"So how are you feeling today, Calum?" Doctor Gram asked as we settled ourselves in our normal seats.
"Good, good." I nodded my head, a small smile finding its way to my lips.
"Today is a very special day for you." He smiled as well. "Do you know why that is?"
I shook my head as I leaned back in my chair comfortably. "No, sir."
"Today is the day you truly start therapy."
The smile on my face only grew as what he said fully registered in my head. Before, I came here to figure out what I had done wrong. Now, I came here knowing full well of what I had done and was now searching for a way to better myself in hopes of it never happening again. And with Skyler just outside in the waiting room, I knew there was no longer any fear holding me back from moving past that horrible event.
I nodded my head enthusiastically as I sat up straighter. "I'm ready."
Doctor Gram smiled with a single nod before he turned over to a blank page in his notepad. "Let's begin then."
