to yelling coming from the downstairs of the Evans family home. Letting out an annoyed groan, the fifteen-year old red head threw her duvet off her body. As soon as her feet touched the carpeted floor, her bedroom door sprang open and another red head girl walked in.

"Oh, good, you're up," Lily let out a breath of relief when she noticed her younger sister sitting on her bed, her messy bed hair all over the place as she looked annoyed, "I was just coming up to get you."

"What the hell is going on down there?" Ivy asked, standing up from her bed as she made a beeline over to her wardrobe. Swinging the door open as she pulled out her school uniform and threw it over her head towards her bed; almost hitting Lily in the face with the skirt in process.

"Petunia again," Lily sighed sadly, she shifted over towards Ivy's bed and sank onto it as Ivy took out some everyday clothes, "Anyway, breakfast is ready if you want it," Lily added as she left the room, giving Ivy privacy to get changed and ready for the day ahead; the day she was starting her fifth year at Hogwarts the school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Ivy let out a sigh, her jade green eyes glanced at a photograph that was perched up on her wardrobe. Letting her fingers trace the white frame a sad smile appeared on her face. The photograph was taken when Ivy was only seven years old. Years before she found out she was actually a witch. It was taken when the family had gone on a holiday to France. Petunia (the oldest Evans' child) had her arms wrapped around Ivy and Lily as the three of them giggled whilst looking at the camera.

Petunia Evans was a muggle just like their parents; a non-magical person. Of course, whilst the girl's parents didn't care about if their children were magical or not, Petunia certainly did. When Lily had received a letter from Hogwarts, Petunia tried everything she could to prove that she was also worthy of going to a magic school, not wanting to accept her younger sister was more talent than herself. Then, the following year when Ivy received a identical letter from the magical school Petunia lost it. She turned cold towards her younger sisters, bullying them for being 'freaks'. Of course, whilst she called them freaks, she still hoped and longed for her own letter to arrive, Dumbledore apologising for sending it off late, but that never happened and so a longing hate for witches and wizards filled Petunia, a trait she passed onto her boyfriend Vernon Dursley.

"Ivy! Breakfast is ready! We need to leave soon!" Susan Evans shouted calmly, breaking Ivy out of her daydream.

"Coming mum!" Ivy shouted back down. She turned away from the photograph and quickly began changing her clothes, almost falling over when she couldn't place her leg into her jeans.

As soon as the red head was dressed, she grabbed her suitcase from under her bed and shoved her newly washed school uniform inside it, not even bothering to fold it as she grabbed her wand from inside of her nightstand. Taking a quick glance around her room, Ivy let out a content sigh; she loved her parents and being home with them was great, but she loved Hogwarts and her friends there and was practically craving to go back there and see them all.

She heard a quiet miaowing sound and glanced down under her bed, rolling her eyes when she spotted her jet black cat looking up at her.

"Come on, Loki," She ordered him softly, "We're going to be late to Hogwarts if you don't come."

With another miaow the cat finally began moving it's way out from under the bed. With a smile Ivy picked him up, grabbing her suitcase with her other hand before she made her way out of her bedroom.

us, okay girls?" Susan reminded the two red heads, squishing them both in a hug as Petunia scoffed behind them.

"We won't," Lily said, her face pressed up against her mother's shoulder.

"Mum, we really need to go now," Ivy reminded the woman who finally let go of the two girls.

She looked ready to say something else but their father quickly placed gentle kisses on their foreheads before pulling their mum away from them, allowing them to finally make their way towards the train. The girls split up as Lily went off to find Alice Fortescue and Marlene McKinnon as Ivy searched for her own friends; Jasper Pine and Donna Bitterwood.

She held onto Loki with one hand and pulled her heavy suitcase with another. Not noticing where she was going, the red head crashed into someone's body but before she could fall the person grabbed hold of her elbows, keeping her up right.

"Shit, shit, sorry," She quickly apologised as she regained her balance and looked up, her eyes widening in horror as she noticed who she bumped into; Regulus Black along with his mother Walburga Black and older brother Sirius.

Sirius sent the red head an apologetic smile to which she send him a polite smile back, but her smile got wiped off her face when Walburga's face contorted into one filled with disgust, "Watch where you're going, Mudblood," She spat hatefully.

"Sorry," Ivy mumbled, her eyes shifting to the ground. She felt beyond uncomfortable underneath Walburga's icy cold stare.

"Mother--"

"Shut up, Sirius," Walburga interrupted her oldest son rudely, "This Mudblood needs to learn to respect Pureblood wizards and witches," The vile woman spat, "Sirius, you better not fraternise with this...thing."

Ivy felt her jaw clench with anger, she opened her mouth to give the woman her piece of mind but Sirius quickly interrupted her by running over to her side and wrapping his arm around her shoulders nonchalantly, "As it turns out, Walburga," Sirius said, spitting her name with disgust, "We're dating."

The red head looked up and noticed a discrete wink coming from Sirius and instantly understood his plan, "Yeah, we are. We have been for the last two years," Ivy added placing her hand on top of Sirius' chest as her lips formed a sickly sweet smile.

Regulus Black watched curiously as Sirius bend his head down to whisper something into Ivy's ear, emitting giggles from the red head which caused Walburga Black to become increasingly angry.

"Sirius--"

"We've actually got to go, Mother," Sirius interrupted her with a wide smirk on his lips, "The train will be leaving any second now."

Before she could reply, Sirius moved his arm off Ivy's shoulders and grabbed her suitcase in one hand and with his other hand he took hold of her palm, dragging her away from his so-called mother and brother.

"Jeez, Rose, I'm so so sorry about that," Sirius quickly apologised as they walked onto the train, he followed the younger girl through the busy train. Rose was the nickname Sirius gave the girl the moment he met her, a name only he was allowed to call her.

"It's fine, Sirius," The red head replied, "It's not your fault your mum is so closed minded. Plus, you helped me there, she would've squished me like a bug if you didn't step in," She chuckled softly before her eyes landed on a familiar brunette in one of the compartments causing her to pause in her step.

Sirius looked up and noticed Donna Bitterwood sitting in the compartment and glanced back down at the younger girl, "I shouldn't have had to step in, Rose--"

"Si, it's fine, honesty," Ivy interrupted him, "I don't care what she says about me. I know better than to actually listen to her."

Sirius' smile widened, he brought his hand up to scruff the girl's hair; which caused her to slap his hand away with a roll of her eyes.

"Well, Rose, I'll leave you to it. See you later, yeah?"

"Yeah."
