《A Different Kind Of Love [XianWang]》1

Chatters echoed inside of a large room filled with tons of equipments and new kinds of technologies no man had ever seen. The people within walked around while checking and working on something.
In the middle of the room, there laid two large tube containers which didn't seem like much from just one look. But if you took a look closer, you would see two creatures strapped in with wired stuck in almost everywhere in their bodies. The creatures weren't horrifying looking. In fact, they looked almost magnificent.
"How is their blood flow?" A deep voice, sounding a bit robotic, spoke through the whole crowd.
A worker saw him working over and immediately turned over to the round table with a dot on the surface. She pressed on the dot and a transparent screen appeared with blue texts written all over.
"Their blood is flowing nicely. No viruses found in their DNA as well as system."
The man nodded and asked another question, "What about the data?"
"We've transferred every data about this planet and our whole universe to them, Boss. They should know every single detail." She retorted, her high pitched voice sounding also a little bit robotic as he tapped on the transparent screen to show the man everything that was going on.
"Good." He was delighted with this information and looked over to the two tubes.
"Boss, we already transferred the mission details into their system and everything is going smoothly. Should we send them down to Earth right now?" Another worker came towards him with a table in his hand, showing him the screen of the two's system.
The boss held up a hand to dismiss the idea, "We can't let them go without the Queen's permission. It was her idea to reconstruct these things."
"Boss, these are not just things. Even though they are like us Eurystheusors, but they are half robotic. We decried to give them a name. They're now called Lyxions. They are one of a kind on our planet. Furthermore, they have the same royal DNA as Prince Lan Jingyi and Lan Sizhui. They are more powerful and are at a higher level than the rest of us because of the royal DNA."
The boss gave his worker a chuckle and nodded, "Yes, yes, I know. Thank you for correcting me."
The worker gave him a small smile before walking away.
"Prince Lan Jingyi and Lan Sizhui did a great job in constructing this never seen before project. It is such a shame they never got to finish it." The man sighed.
"The Queen has arrived!"
Hearing that, the workers immediately stopped what they are doing and gathered around in their positions. Not a second later, the door to the laboratory opened as a beautiful woman walked in. Her silky black hair flowing along to the movements of her hips as her heels clanked against the marbled floor. With just one glance at her, you would already know she wasn't like the rest of the people in here. She looked absolutely extraordinary and her fierce eyes just screamed dominance.
The workers all bowed down and greeted her, "Welcome, My Queen!"
The queen gave them all a smile, "Go back to work. I just came here to check on the Lyxions."
The workers listened to her words and resumed doing whatever they were doing.
The woman was satisfied that these workers were doing a fantastic job. She then walked over to the man next to the tubes and asked him.
"How are they, Chief Jahzzan?"

The man gave her a smile and answered her question with full politeness, "Greetings, Your Makesty. Kailishilaiheaiqi Yi and Kailishilaiheaiqi Er are doing great. Their systems are in tact. Their powers are nicely controlled. They are ready for the mission."
"They are? Wonderful! The earlier they are released, the better results of finding my sons." She joyfully replied, looking at the two men in the tubes.
"However, Earth is a planet we never explored before and it is in another universe. It is going to be difficult and extremely time consuming for them to find your sons, Your Majesty."
The queen glanced at him and nodded, "Yes, I know that. But didn't you do some research on that planet?"
"Yes, we did. Due to our advanced technology, we were able to find out that the planet is ruled over by a species called humans. There are other species as well, but it seems to us that humans are the intelligent creatures of that planet. Moreover, if we were to Kailishilaiheaiqi Yi and Kailishilaiheaiqi Er over, we might need to give them another name to ensure no suspicion."
The queen listened to him and seemed to like the idea, "I actually found names for them. My sons were the one who created these Lyxions first. Kailishilaiheaiqi Yi and Kailishilaiheaiqi Er were the names they gave them, but I found out they gave them shorter names as well."
"May this humble one request to hear the names?"
She grinned, "Lan Xichen for Kailishilaiheaiqi Yi and Lan Wangji for Kailishilaiheaiqi Er. How does that sound?"
Chief Jahzzan liked those names and smiled, "They sound delightful, My Queen."
The woman chuckled and looked back at the two Lyxions. She then walked towards the table where the female worker was and pressed the blue dot. She swiped her hand through the transparent screen and checked the writings. The screen showed every detail of the two Lyxions and she nodded as she scanned through it.
"Send them, Chief Jahzzan."
The chief blinked, "Right now?"
"Yes. I need my sons back immediately."
Hearing how her voice changed from soft to cold made the chief shivered and he instantly told his workers to do so.
The workers went off to press some buttons on the big screens and later, the tubes released a bunch of smoke before the transparent screen voiced out.
Not only were there smoke on the outside, the smoke were inside of the tubes as well, covering the two Lyxions almost completely as if they were frozen.
Within no time, the floor opened up and the tubes were tossed down before the rockets activated, and flew them away.

In the dark alleyways, a drunk man stumbled in and smiled sheepishly as he bumped into the walls, trying to hold himself. He was drunk to the max and couldn't see things clearly. With a glass of strong liquor in his hand, he chugged down on it till it was empty and screamed in happiness before smashing it onto the wall. He laughed and began walking inside till he bumped into something. It wasn't a wall. This time he felt softer stuff.
Looking up, his vision got clearer, but all he noticed was white. He looked down, it was white, he looked up, it was white with a pinch of blonde. He then saw arms and a head before a pair of dark brown eyes stared right at him, never blinking once.
He stepped back and gasped aloud. The thing standing in front of him was a person, wearing full white. He could identify clearly that it was a man. His snowy white skin made it blend into his clothes and it made him look like he was something else.

"G-G-G... GHOST!!" The drunk man screamed in fright before he stood in his place and later his body fell down to the ground.
"What's a ghost?" The man in white tilted his head in confusion as he stepped out of the shadows and crouched down, looking at the man.
He slightly poked the body with a his index finger, "Sir, what's a ghost?"
"Wangji, what's going on?" Another man stepped out of the shadows and unlike that man in white, he was dressed in fully black and short black hair. He looked a bit more muscular compared to the other man and he was taller as well.
"Gege, the man saw me and said I was a ghost. What's a ghost?" The man called Wangji looked over to the other with an innocent look. Since he was created later than the man, he was told he was obligated to call him as Gege which meant older brother. They were from the same bloodline, so it pretty much meant they were brothers even though they weren't born like how people would've thought.
"Let me check." He blinked and a transparent blue screen appeared before him.
Kailishilaiheaiqi Er, another name, Lan Wangji, could also see the screen, but the words were backwards, so he couldn't see what was going on.
"A ghost is the soul or spirit of a dead person or animal that can appear to the living. In ghostlore, descriptions of ghosts vary widely from an invisible presence to translucent or barely visible wispy shapes, to realistic, lifelike forms. Some people fear ghosts."
The clad in white looked down at the man laying on the ground again before pouting, "But I'm not dead. Am I?"
Kailishilaiheaiqi Yi, or Lan Xichen chuckled, "Silly boy, of course not. We only existed today. But on a side note, what did you do to this human?"
"I didn't do anything!" Lan Wangji stood up, his pout still there as he faced the other man.
Lan Xichen put his hand on the shorter male's head, "Of course, I know that. My little Wangji won't do any harm."
The other giggled and stared at the other walking up to the body on the dirty ground. He crouched down and scanned the body as the same transparent screen appeared.
"Dead? Wow Wangji, you must've really scared him bad."
Lan Wangji frowned, "But I really didn't do anything! He just looked at me and fell down! I didn't even get to say any words!"
The older male shook his head and stood up, "What should we do with the body?"
Lan Wangji shrugged.
The other sighed, "Wangji, if people find out we killed someone, we're gonna be in trouble."
"Gege, we didn't kill him. Besides, I already researched about humans. It says humans can expect to live up to around 80 years old. 69 years old is old! The humans will just think he died of old age!"
Lan Xichen listened to him, "Yeah, I think it's reasonable. So.. should we just leave him here?"
Lan Wangji swayed his body from left to right for a second before agreeing with that. The older one just chuckled and they walked out, pretending like the dead human didn't even exist.
As soon as they went out, they were immediately shined by the bright lights on the tall buildings. The two closed the eyes for a second to get used to it and when they did, they opened up and mouths hung open.
"Wahhh, this place is so cool! Gege, so many buildings and such bright and colorful lights! So many humans, too!" Lan Wangji was astounded by everything around him, "This planet looks beautiful!"
Lan Xichen nudged him, "It's best not to say planet and call these humans humans. They'll find us weird. We don't want to get them suspicious."
Lan Wangji nodded with a cute smile.
Lan Xichen pinched the man's cheeks. The other was damn adorable.
"Do you know where we are in this world?"
Lan Wangji nodded. He tapped the side of his head and the transparent blue screen appeared before the two of them. He made sure that only the two of them can see the screen.
"We're currently in Beijing, the capital of China. It is the second largest city in China after Shanghai with a population of 21.54 million people." The screen then disappeared and Lan Xichen nodded.
"We should better start looking for Prince Lan Jingyi and Prince Lan Sizhui. The earlier we find them, the better it will be."
Lan Wangji agreed and both of them spilt ways, deciding on meeting at this exact same spot after three hours.
Lan Wangji put his hands in his pockets as he walked through the crowd of people. It was 9pm right now and yet the place was still buzzing with people. He heard that humans mostly sleep for the night to regain their energy for the next day. He pursed his lips and continued walking around, scanning every human he saw on his way, but none of them matched the two princes' prescriptions.
He went on and on, looking back and forth, crossing from streets to streets and yet he couldn't find them. He really wondered how long it was going to be for them to find the two princes'. Earth was so big! They could be anywhere! Heck, they couldn't even be in China right now! The clad in white knew this was going to take them so many solar years!
He walked for so long now and he felt his legs wanting to give up. Yes, he was a robot, but he was half robot. He could still get tired like humans. He sighed and stopped for a second to rest. Unexpectedly, he felt something grabbing his leg and he looked down. He saw something small and titled his head. His eyes slightly widened. This was a human! But it was smaller. Was this a mini human? He wasn't informed that there were mini humans. How adorable and tiny they were!
He crouched down to match the mini human's height and smiled, "Hi!"
The mini human stared at him with her big doe eyes and did something with her hands.
Lan Wangji didn't know what she was doing, so he decided to take a quick scan on her.
'Then, how can I communicate with her?' He thought to himself and the texts on the screen faded into another text.
With the sign language immediately installed, Lan Wangji quickly got to work and spoke with her using the newly unlocked sign language.
"Hi!"
The girl's expressions was clearly noticeable. She was surprised and happy to see that the older man knew sign language. She gave him a smile and used her hands again.
"I'm lost. Can you help me find my mom, please?"
Lan Wangji found her to be so adorable and nodded, "Of course, little one. Can you tell me where you last saw your mom?"
She pointed towards the tall bright building before signing again, "She brought me there to buy me some new clothes, but I got distracted by a kitten and followed it. Then I couldn't find my mom. Please help me find her! I miss my mom!"
She was on the brim of tears and Lan Wangji gasped. The human eyes would drop tears whenever someone was sad and the Lyxion couldn't see this mini human unhappy.
He wiped her tears away and stood up, "Hold my hand. I'll help you find her. I promise."
The girl sniffed before grabbing his big hand with her little one. Lan Wangji awed at how cute she was and the two walked over to the big tall building.
"You never told me what your mom looks like. How can I find her?"
The little girl pouted and signed to him, "My mom has brown hair and is shorter than you. She wears a pink dress and has a white purse by her side."
Lan Wangji nodded and scanned through the people again. He matched her description and found a few people which looked quite like her. He still didn't know what she looked like, but he had to find her somehow. He couldn't let this mini human be sad. No, he mustn't!
After searching for a good while, the girl gasped and tapped his leg before pointing over to a woman which perfectly fit her description.
Lan Wangji looked over and saw the woman looking around, asking people and her expression said so much. She was worried and sad.
"There! She's my mom!"
Lan Wangji nodded and went over to the woman. Her back was facing him and she turned around when she felt a tap on her shoulder.
"Excuse me, but are you looking for your daughter?"
The woman's eyes widened and she nodded, "How did you know?"
Lan Wangji stepped aside and the girl appeared behind his legs. The woman looked down and tears dropped. She got on her knees and hugged her daughter tight!
"A-Lian! Mama was so worried!" The woman signed to her as she pulled away.
The little girl also shed tears.
"She told me she lost her mom, so I helped her with that."
The woman looked at him and bowed down, "Thank you! Thank you for finding my daughter! I owe you so much!"
Lan Wangji held up his hands and nervously smiled, "It's fine! It's fine! But I have to say, your daughter is adorable."
The woman smiled and nodded.
The girl then ran up to hug his legs before signing to him, "Thank you for helping me find my mom."
Lan Wangji signed back, "There's no need for that. I'm happy to help out."
The little girl chuckled.
"Young man, I really owe you a lot. Tell me, is there anything you want? I'll give it to you as a gift for finding my precious daughter."
Lan Wangji stared at her for a second before someone called out to him.
"Wangji, there you are." Lan Xichen ran over to him and smiled.
"Gege"
The older man just noticed the two humans next to them and blinked in confusion, "Do you know them?"
"No. I was just helping her find her daughter. Look! Isn't she just the cutest?"
Lan Xichen glanced down at the little girl, did a little quick scan on her profile before smiling. His system automatically initiated the sign language program and he signed to her.
"You are very adorable."
The little girl widely grinned and tapped her mom's hand. The mom smiled in delight. She was glad to see her so happy.
"Wangji, we should find a place to stay. We can't stay up looking for them all night. I don't think my body can handle that." Lan Xichen was right. They needed a place to rest.
"Where though? If I did my research, we would need money to pay for a room at a hotel. We don't have that." Lan Wangji pouted.
"You boys are looking for a place to stay?"
The two Lyxions looked at her and nodded.
"But you don't have money."
The two nodded again.
The lady asked, "Are you... homeless?" She wasn't sure if they were lying or not because they didn't seem like they were homeless because of their looks. Their clothes looked pretty high quality even though they were wearing just full black and full white. But they seemed honest.
The two looked at each other. They did have a home back in their planet, but they couldn't exactly call it a home, right? They never even stepped foot on the surface of their planet. After they were done constructing, they were instantly sent here without any information except just to find the missing princes of their planet.
"We practically are..." Lan Xichen rubbed his nape.
The mother gave them a small smile, "How about this? I have an apartment I just purchased a while ago. I can let you stay there because this gentleman helped me find my daughter. You can take it as a big gift for doing that."
The two were quite surprised. The lady was so nice for that.
"Really?" They asked in sync.
"Yes, but on one condition. I can't let you stay there for free. However, I can't exactly let you pay either because you don't have the money. I own a pretty popular milk tea shop by the beachside and currently looking for new employees. Would you mind working for me in addition to you having my apartment? I'm giving this chance because as I said before, I owe this gentleman a lot for helping me find my daughter." She told them with a sweet smile plastered on her face, waiting for them to accept this offer.
