《Mesmerizing Mr. Mafia》Gattinas and Clubs and Junkies OH MY

I had convinced Lucas not to turn anyone's name into the police for now. That wasn't really my biggest problem right now though, I was more focused on dinner. More specifically, the weird looks I was getting from everyone.

I've been here for a week and no one has treated me ideally. This wasn't home anymore. It was a prison.

Th only open spot was next to Lorenzo, and hesitantly very hesitantly, I sat down. Sienna gave me a disgusted look in the process. "Hey dad," she spoke up, "Lorenzo and I wanted to take Chloe out for dessert after this as a little welcome home present."

What? Her motives weren't well supported and I felt as though if my dad let me go, I was probably going to die tonight. How funny is it that I could survive a whole month surrounded by the mafia, but as soon as I get home my sister is the one that actually kills me?

Well I wasn't laughing.

"That'd be great," Violet said before my dad even had a chance to process what Sienna said. Violet was a legit idiot. I used to have so much respect for her, but as the days passed I watched it all dwindle into nothing. The fact that my dad was still with her almost angered me at this point.

"I don't know," dad said, sounding super conflicted. "I guess it's up to Chloe."

"It's settled then," Sienna cheered, "Chloe hurry up and finish eating."

I looked down at the plate that had already been made for me, food didn't even sound that good at the moment.

I should probably eat it though, considering its going to be my last meal.

I listened as Sienna and Lorenzo made extremely small chit chat. Lorenzo was driving and he said he couldn't focus on the road and talk to her at the same time without getting distracted. I guess that was responsible of him. Ha, he was just like his brother now.

Way to go Lorenzo.

I had asked a few times where we were going because getting dessert didn't sound like something Sienna would want to do. She's always been a little...I don't know, ok the anorexic side. She only ever ate what she needed to survive and that was pretty much it.

Does it surprise you that I never got an answer from them though?

Yeah, me neither.

Sienna and Lorenzo started talking again, this time it had something to do with drugs. Again, I wasn't surprised. The outcome of drugs loomed over both of their faces, making them look slightly older than they really were.

Did my dad know about Sienna's problem? I bet Bradley did. It was really hard to get anything passed that kid.

Some LA club came into view and I prayed that that wasn't where we were going. But sadly not all prayers are answered and soon the car was parked right outside. Sienna turned on her hip to face me in the backseat, "We're going to have a lot of fun," she said, a sinister smile on her fragile face.

"How are we even going to get in? None of us are old enough. Sienna you're an idiot!" I snapped.

She looked at me as if she were about to rip my head off, "Lorenzo's brother is in the mafia. We can get into whatever we want and no one's allowed to say shit about it."

"He's so done with bailing you out of your problems," I crossed my arms over my chest and leaned back in my seat, my eyes burning into the back of Lorenzo's skull. "Living around the mafia has taught me that much at least. No one wants to help two low life, drug addict pricks out of the problems they got themselves into because they're dumber than shit." My own upfront comment shocked even me. Forget Sienna, who was I turning into?

"Why the fuck did we bring her?" Lorenzo snapped at Sienna.

"Because, even though she is a fucking prude, I still love her and I want to be around her. Maybe after tonight she won't be such a buzzkill. Now let's go already," she hopped out of the car and put the seat down so that I could get out too.

I didn't want to and I knew it was stupid of me, but I followed them up to the front doors of the blaring club anyway. A bouncer was the only thing that stood in our way though. How the hell did they plan on getting passed him?

Lorenzo walked up and started saying something to him, something I didn't quite understand. I was completely-jaw dropping shocked to see the guy step aside to allow us entrance to the club.

After standing there totally baffled for a second, Sienna grabbed my hand and pulled me inside. The music was too loud, the people smelled weird, and no one knew what the hell personal space was.

Two girls in skimpy multicolored dresses and stripper heels immediately came up to us and wrapped Sienna in a hug, "SiSi, you made it. Come on, the real party is downstairs," the girl with the extremely fake boobs and bleached blonde hair grabbed Sienna's hand and started pulling her along.

Lorenzo had started to walk away with them, but turned around to face me, "Come on, amore mia," he said mockingly.

I walked passed him a little bit, in the direction of Sienna and her dumb friends, "You aren't allowed to call me that."

I was surprised to see that there were stairs going down, almost as if there was a basement. The stairs were wobbly and I wondered how a drunk person, like most of the people I've seen so far, were supposed to get down there without falling to their death.

I followed them down and then headed into the room that seemed to have everyone's attention. There wasn't much in this room, a few leather couches, some tables and two or three bookshelves with nothing on them. What kind of a party took place down in this?

There was a guy sitting on one of the couches, a briefcase of stuff in front of him on the coffee table. He looked like a hardcore junkie and at the moment I wanted nothing more than to go home, crawl into bed and sleep forever.

"Hey, you guys made it," the junkie stood up. "This one," he grabbed both of my arms, "Must be Chloe, the innocent one you were talking about," he held my arm tightly, examining every inch of it. "Ohh, she's got a good one," he said whilst flicking an exposed vein. "Ok, this shouldn't be that hard after all."

"What?" I looked around at Sienna, her dumb friends and even Lorenzo for help. Did they plan on making me take drugs with them? Not if I'm alive to see it. "What shouldn't be hard?" I turned back to the junkie.

"Shooting you up."

"Shooting me up?" I repeated, "With what?"

"Heroin. The best stuff in the market right now too."

The sound of Lorenzo's cell phone blasting some rap song caused my mind to shut down for a moment. He looked at the caller ID briefly before shoving it back into his pocket, "I don't know who that is."

"Who was it?" Sienna asked, "What did it say?"

"Some dude named Luca." Luca? How did he not know who he was? Or was he just being stupid and avoiding him for some reason? "God, lets just do this already. What are we waiting for?"

"Um..." I had to think of a lie that could get me out of this for even just a few minutes. I remembered that I had a cellphone and could call for help. Actually never mind because it wasn't capable of calling 911. "I really need to go to the bathroom. Is there a bathroom around here anywhere?"

"Yeah," the junkie pointed out a door on the other side of the room, "It's right over there."

I nodded and headed over there, shutting and locking the door behind me. I reached into my boot and pulled the cell phone out. I stuck it there because it would have been totally visible through my gray skinny jeans and I didn't need Lorenzo and Sienna taking it from me.

I scrolled through the contacts, coming across a few names that I knew but didn't really feel like confiding in. Angelo's and Dom's names being just two of those.

Luca's name was at the very bottom on the list. I tapped on it and it started ringing. "Hello?" He answered almost immediately. "Chloe, please tell me this is you."

"It's me," I said quietly, not wanting any of the junkies out there to here me. "Why'd you call Lorenzo?"

"He's supposed to keep tabs on you. Where the hell are you? You're not at your house. The only people here are some kids, an obvious business dude and some skank gold digger."

What? "You're at my house?"

"Yeah. Where the hell are you?!"

"Some club."

"Yeah, that really narrows it down. Thanks gattina, but we're in LA, there's only about a million of those."

"Um..." I tried to remember the name of this place, but absolutely nothing, not even a single letter came to mind. "How long have you been here?"

"I was on the same plane with you back here, Chloe. You didn't see me? I was making faces at you the whole time."

"Are you the only one?"

"For now. I think Francisco, Dom and Tony are at LAX right now though. We have to wait for Angelo before anything else can happen though and I don't know when he's gonna show up. Hey, are you ok? Is Lorenzo being a little bitch?"

"Isn't he always? They're trying to get me to do drugs and I can't get out of it."

"Hey," Sienna knocked on the door, "Come on, it's time."

"Uh oh," Luca sang, "I'm gonna try to find you, ok gattina? I need you to stall as long as possible though."

I ended the call knowing that if I said anything else Sienna would have heard it and then who knows what would have happened. I opened the bathroom door to see her standing there, a rubber band tied around her upper arm. She smiled at me, "This is gonna be so fun."
