"If anything she should only be mad at me because I'm the one who kissed you first, you're not at fault." He stops at a red light "But moving on, I had a good time with you yesterday."

"Yeah, I had fun too, I can't get it off of my mind, Just thinking about it now I'm a little bit turned on." I laugh.

"Oh really? you want me to help you with that?" He runs his hand up my thigh.

I was too busy thinking about Callum and our date tonight, even though I knew it was wrong to mess around with her ex but I didn't care.

"I still can't believe he broke up with me for no reason like we were just doing great and all of a sudden he says that he doesn't want to be with me anymore." Claire frowns.

"That's crazy." I didn't know what else to say.

"I honestly feel like there's someone else that he's not telling me about, there should be no reason why he just decided to break up with me." She takes a bite of her pizza "If there is someone else I promise I'm gonna find out."

"Maybe he just didn't want to be in a relationship anymore, I don't think there's anyone on the side." I sip my drink.

"I don't think it's that, Either way, I'm gonna find out."

Brooklyn walks over and sits down "Hey bitches."

"Hey, so how was your day?" Claire asks.

"You already know, I already wanna skip and go home, I can't stand this school." She sighs and rolls her eyes.

"If you leave I'll leave with you, I can't be here either, I'm tired of seeing Callum's face."

"I forgot you two broke up, I thought you two would last for years."

"I thought so too but obviously I'm not good enough for him."

"Don't say that, it's probably just things going on with him." Brooklyn hugs Claire "Everything is gonna be okay."

"I don't care, I wanna leave before he comes down here." She stands and grabs her bag.

"Okay." Brooklyn stands back up "You coming Jas?"

"Oh, I don't know, I have some homework I need to catch up on."

"Oh come on, you can do that tomorrow." Claire pulls at my hand.

"Okay fine." I grab my things putting them back into my backpack then stands, I follow behind them both as we leave the cafeteria.

"That movie was crazy, I still don't know how Michael Myers can keep coming back from the dead like isn't he supposed to be human?" Brooklyn eats some of her ice cream.

"Right, I can't wait for the next movie though, they ended it on a cliffhanger and that sucks." Claire drinks her milkshake.

"I'm pretty sure school is over now, where do you guys wanna head next?" Brooklyn asks.

"I actually have to get home, Like I said I have some things I need to take care of." I stand putting my book bag on "But I'll text you both later." I start to walk off.

"You can't text us if you forget about your phone." Claire grabs my phone off the table.

"Oh, thank you." I walk back over to them grabbing my phone "I'll see you both later." I leave the restaurant and I begin calling Callum.

"Have you not been checking your phone?" He answers "I've been calling and texting you nonstop, I didn't see you in school."

"I know, I skipped with Claire and Brooklyn, I'm walking home now."

"Why?"

"She didn't feel like being in school, Brooklyn either so I decided to just leave with them."

"Don't do that again, do you want me to come to pick you up?"

"No I'm good, I'll be home in ten." I hang up the phone and I continue walking home.

It's hours later, I've just finished getting dressed to go out with Callum. I was so excited to be getting out and spending some alone time with him. This could actually help us out and bring us closer.

"Are you ready to go?" Callum stops by my room.

"Yeah." I grab my jacket putting it on "You still haven't told me where we're going." I follow him out of the room.

"It's a secret." We head downstairs, my mom was in the kitchen chatting with Ryan.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"I'm going out with a couple of friends."

"No you're not, the school called today and told me you missed four different classes, where were you?" She crosses her arms.

"I wasn't feeling okay so I left."

"But now all of a sudden you're feeling better when it comes to hanging with friends right? you're not going anywhere."

"Please mom, I -"

"I don't wanna hear anything, you're not going."

"Fine!" I roll my eyes and I storm off upstairs, Callum follows behind me.

"Don't worry we can just reschedule for another day." He follows me into my room "This is why you don't skip school."

"Shut up." I remove my sweater and kicks my sneakers off.

"I wish I can stay in here with you but too bad our parents aren't sleeping." He walks over to me and grabs my face kissing me "Do you have any plans for Thursday?"

"No."

"So we can reschedule for Thursday, I'm gonna head back to my room."

"Okay, see you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow." He smiles then leaves my room.

A few seconds later Ash walks down the hall and into my room "Hey."

"Hey." I turn to him "What you been up to?"

"Chilling watching some TV." He walks over to my bed and sits "I know lately things between us have been off and I don't want it to be that way, I only have a couple of days left here and I wanna spend it with you."

"I know, obviously I can't pretend that you didn't tell me that you loved me but I can at least try." I sit down next to him "I miss you."

"I should have just kept my mouth shut from the jump, I shouldn't have said anything but I wanted to let you know in case you felt the same way, obviously that was stupid of me, but I just wanna move on."

"Well me too, hug?"

"Of course." He pulls me into a hug "I love you."

"I love you too." I smile and leans my head against his shoulder.

Things between us would never be the same but he's my best friend, he's been by my side for years and I'm gonna keep it that way.
