I woke up the next morning and looks to my side, The only one still sleeping was Brooklyn. I stand and I walk over to my clothes putting them back on and then I slip my crocs on.

I then leave the room and I walk downstairs finding Claire in the kitchen cooking, and Skye and Michelle were sitting in the living room talking.

"Good morning, I'm making breakfast." Claire smiles.

"Thank you so much but I'm gonna head home, I have a busy day ahead of me but I had fun."

"Oh okay, it's fine, I know you still have to get settled in and everything." She walks over to me and pulls me into a hug "Do you wanna take down my number or something?"

"Sure." I take my phone out of my pocket and unlocks it then hands her it. She enters her phone number then hands me it back "Don't be a stranger."

"I won't, thank you again for inviting me."

"No problem."

"Bye Jasmine" Skye turns to me with a smile.

"Bye." I return a smile then I leave her house.

I actually didn't know how to get home from here so I had to search up my home address, I didn't have Callum's number yet so I couldn't text or call him to come pick me up.

It took me about 15 minutes walking and I finally got home, I unlock the door and walks inside, nobody was up yet.

I walk upstairs into my room grabbing some clean clothes and sets them on my bed. I grab my towel and I walk to the bathroom stripping out of my clothes then turns the shower on and gets inside.

I wash up then gets out and dries off, I wrap the towel around my body then begins walking back to my room.

"Hey, Jasmine." I jump a little bit at the voice, I turn around to see Callum coming up the stairs.

"I didn't think anyone was up."

"I'm always up early, I went for a run."

No wonder he was so fit.

"Oh, well what's up?" I smile while holding the towel around my body.

"Why don't you get dressed first and then we could chat? I'll be in the kitchen." He smiles.

"Okay." I walk into my room closing the door behind me.

I walk over to my bed and quickly gets dressed, I slip a pair of socks on then leaves my room and walks downstairs.

"Have you eaten anything yet?" He asks.

"No."

"Want me to cook you something?"

"Uhhhh, sure." I sit at the counter.

"What do you like to eat?"

"Just some eggs, bacon, and pancakes please."

"Okay." He digs into the fridge pulling out the ingredients and gets to work "So you had fun last night?"

"Yeah, I didn't think I would have a good time but everyone was so nice to me, their all cool."

"I'm glad you had a good time." He grabs a cup from the counter and washes it out then pours some orange juice inside and sets it down in front of me.

"Thanks." I sip my drink "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Are you cool with everything now, like me and my mother moving in?"

"At first I didn't like the idea but you're not so bad, to be honest, and your mom is sweet."

"I could say the same for you too" I smile and he returns a smile.

After about 10 minutes he finishes cooking my food and sets it down in front of me "Thank you, I've never had a man cook for me before."

"There's a first for everything." He smirks.

I take a bite "And it's delicious."

He cooked him some food too, he sits down next to me and starts eating.

"Claire told me that you and Skye were getting cozy yesterday, anything there?"

"No, well not yet, why?"

"No reason." He eats some more of his food.

A few moments later Ryan walks downstairs "Good morning."

"Good morning dad."

"Morning."

"I have to be at work in a few so I'm not gonna stop to eat but remember later we're going out to dinner."

"Okay."

"I'll see you both later." He leaves.

We talk for a while finishing the rest of our food then throws our plates away.

"Well, I'm about to go shower." He walks off upstairs.

I grab my phone and calls Ash on FaceTime, he answers after a few rings.

"Hey, Jasmine." He answers.

"Hey Ash, I miss you so much."

"I miss you too, it sucks not having you here."

"Maybe you could come visit me sometime, I've already made some friends that I know you would love to meet." I smile.

I missed him so much, Ash was the only one I could really be myself around.

He just made me so happy.

"I was actually thinking about coming to see you soon, my mom has been pissing me off and I need to get out of the house and just go somewhere else."

"Maybe I could convince Ryan on letting you stay here for a while, he has like two extra rooms, this house is big."

"Jasmine." Callum walks back downstairs without no shirt "Look at these pictures Claire took of us." He walks over and holds his phone out and finally notices I was on the phone.

"Is this your boyfriend?" He grabs my phone from me playfully "What's up bro."

"Stop playing." I grab my phone back away from him and we both laugh.

"Who is that?" Ash asks.

"That's Callum, Ryan's son."

"I'll talk to you later." Callum leaves and walks back upstairs.

"He seems... cool," Ash replies.

"Yeah, he is, he's nice so far, plus he made me some breakfast so that was sweet."

"Oh." He stays silent for a few seconds "We'll I'm busy right now, I'll talk to you later though okay?"

"Okay, I love you."

"I love you too." He quickly hangs up the phone.

It's later on around 7, I've just finished getting ready for us to go out to dinner. I didn't really wanna go but I wanted to, for my mom.

"Jasmine, you ready?" My mom knocks on my door.

"Give me a second." I spray some perfume on me, I slip my phone into my pocket, and then I leave my room.

I walk downstairs where Callum was waiting for me "They're both waiting in the car."

"Okay." I rush out of the door and he follows behind locking the door, We both walk up to the car and gets in the backseat then Ryan drives off.

We arrive at the restaurant, we exit the car, and we walk inside.

"Hello, sir." A waiter greets Ryan.

"Hello, May I please get a table for four?" He replies.

"Okay, follow me." We follow behind him and he takes us to our table.

"Thank you." We all take a seat.

"I'm gonna go get you guys some menus." He smiles then walks off.

He comes back a few seconds later "Here you go." He hands us all a menu "I'll give you guys some time to see what you want."

"Okay thank you." He walks off and we all begin looking through our menus.

"Everything looks great, I might get two different orders." Callum flips through his menu.

I wish he was on this menu.

"Is it okay for you to drive back home, I might want one drink," Ryan asks my mom.

"Okay."

"Does everyone know what they want?" My mom asks.

"Yeah." I set my menu down.

"Yeah," Callum replies.

"Okay good." Everyone else sets their menus down.

"So while we wait, Jasmine how's school?" Ryan tries to start a conversation with me.

"School is fine, my first couple of days were okay."

"I heard you're making some friends, that's good."

"Yeah, it is." My phone begins to ring, I check it to see a message from Claire.

"No phones please." My mom says.

"Okay." I slip my phone back into my pocket.

A few minutes later the waiter walks back over "Did you guys figure out what you want?"

"Yeah, I'm gonna go with the salmon and rice" Ryan hands him the menu.

"And I'm gonna go with the chicken and shrimp pasta." My mom hands him the menu.

"I'll have the steak, mashed potatoes, and corn," I say.

"Okay well I'll have the ribs and mashed potatoes, I'll have the chicken and fries, and I'll have the crab legs," Callum says.

"Damn." I laugh.

"I can save some."

"Okay, your food will be ready in about 25 or 30 minutes, I'll be back." He leaves.

It's a while later, he finally walks back over with our tray of food "Here you guys go." He sets the plates down in front of me, my mom, and Ryan "I'll be back with your order." He turns to Callum then walks off.

He comes back a few seconds later and sets a tray of food in front of Callum "and here you go."

"Thank you so much."

"Your welcome, could I please take your drinks also?"

"I'll take a Pepsi," Ryan replies.

"I'll just take a water," I say.

"Me too," Callum says.

"Me three." My mom replies.

"Okay, coming right up." He walks off and everyone begins eating.

"Oh my god, this is the best steak I've ever tasted." The mashed potatoes were pretty good too, it just melted in my mouth.

"There's something I wanted to tell you both, Me and Ryan are gonna go on vacation for a week and a half, we just wanted to get away for a while by ourselves." My mom speaks up.

"That's fine with me," Callum replies.

"Fine with me too."

"Good, you both are grown enough to be left by your selves so we're trusting you both."

"Yeah, I don't want no parties being thrown at all, you hear me, Callum?"

"Don't worry Dad, I'll be good."

"Good." He begins eating again.

For the rest of our dinner we talk about random things, everyone was done eating so the waiter walks back over.

"I see you guys are done eating, do you guys want any dessert?" He sets dessert menus down.

"We're gonna take some dessert to go" Ryan picks up the menu and begins looking through it "I'll have the lava cake."

"Can I get the chocolate cheesecake?" my mom asks.

"Okay, and you both?"

"Can I get some takeout bowls for the rest of my food?" Callum says "And also I'll have the brownie with vanilla ice cream and the creme brûlée."

"Of course, I'll bring some over for you."

"I'll have the salted caramel cookie and the strawberry banana cheesecake." We hand him back the menu.

"Okay, coming right up." He walks off.

"Do you both wanna go wait in the car?" Ryan stands "I'll pay for everything."

"Okay." Callum stands and takes the keys from Ryan.

"Okay." I stand and I follow Callum out of the restaurant, we walk up to the car and we get inside.

"I feel so fat." I lean back in the seat.

"You literally only had one steak and mashed potatoes" He chuckles "You can't be that full."

"I know but it was a lot to me, I'll make some room for dessert though." I laugh.

"Of course, dessert is the best." His phone begins to ring so he answers it "Hey baby." He puts the phone to his ear.

"We're about to head home in a few minutes, if you wanna come over later then you can."

I roll my eyes and puts my AirPods into my ears and plays my music while I wait.

A few minutes later the door opens "Here, hold this." Ryan hands both me and Callum a bag and him and my mom gets into the car then she drives off.

We arrive home, we walk inside and shuts the lights on "I'm about to get changed then head to bed." My mom says.

"Okay, goodnight, I love you," I say.

"I love you too sweetie, goodnight Callum."

"Goodnight."

She walks off upstairs.

"Jasmine, I heard that your birthday is in 2 weeks, anything in mind that you'll like?" Ryan asks while putting the food and dessert away.

"To be honest I'll be happy with just a happy birthday, I don't really need a gift."

"But it'll still be nice, I'll try to find something nice for you." He smiles "But ima head to bed too, goodnight."

"Goodnight." We both reply and he walks off upstairs.

"So." Callum stands there with his hands in his pockets "I didn't know your birthday was in 2 weeks."

"I know, I didn't wanna tell anyone." I open the fridge up pulling my cheesecake out.

"Why didn't you wanna tell me?"

"I don't know, because we just met not that long ago and I didn't think you cared." I hop onto the counter sitting down then opens the cheesecake and begins eating.

"Of course, I care, even though we haven't known each other for that long I thought we were friends, or at least acquaintances." He sits down around the counter.

"Oh."

The thing is I didn't wanna be friends with him, I wanted something more.

"Well, I guess we are friends then." I finish off the rest of my cheesecake.

"You got a little something." He leans forward running his finger across my lip wiping some whipped cream off.

We both stare into each other's eyes for a couple of seconds "Well I'm gonna head to bed" I jump up off the counter and throws my trash away.

"Oh okay." He stands "Well since we're friends can I get a hug?"

"Okay." I wrap my arms around him and he wraps his arms around me tightly then lets me go.

"Goodnight Jasmine." He smiles.

"Goodnight." I return a smile before walking off upstairs and into my room.

I change into some comfortable clothes then lays down and shuts the lights off and begins falling asleep.
