The next day you woke up really early to make Jimin breakfast before he left. You went to check to see if he was still here so you opened your brother's bedroom door quietly. To your luck, Jimin was still sleeping.

After checking you went to the kitchen to figure out what you were going to make. You ended up making pancakes, because why not? Then Jinim walked into the kitchen.

"Good morning Jimin." You said with a smile.

"Good morning (y/n)." Jimin said with a warm smile. You could still see some pain in his smile.

"Did you sleep well?" You asked him and he nodded his head. You placed the pancakes on the table for him and he sat down. "Tell me if it's not good, I'm still a beginner." You said and he took a bite.

"It's good." He said and you sighed in relief.

The two of you ate breakfast together and talked about something random. You looked at the time and you got up to get ready for work. "Jimin, I have to go to work now." You said and grabbed a pen. There was a notebook on the countertop, you wrote down your number and cafe you work at. "This is my number and where I work, you can come visit later if you want." You said. You bid him goodbye and left for work.

Three hours passed since your shift started and every time someone walked in, you looked up hoping to see Jimin; but it never was him. Another two hours passed and your shift was about to end.

Someone walked in and you looked up. A smile was brought to your face, because it was him. "Welcome." You said. He smiled back and ordered a latte. You gave him he latte and he went to go sit down.

You went over to him when your shift ended. "Who are you waiting for?" You asked him as he looked at his phone.

"This girl, she is very nice and she forced me to sleep at her house last night." Jimin said jokingly. You laughed at what he said.

"Why were you waiting for me?" You asked him as you both walked out of the cafe.

"To walk you home, it's dangerous to walk home alone." He said.

You smiled to yourself. "How was your day?" You asked.

"I would be lying if I said it was great." He said.

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." You said. "I won't force you to tell me."

"I don't want to be asking too much of you, but could I live with you till I have enough money to afford an apartment?"

"Of course."

"I'll even pay you rent for letting me stay."

"No, just save your money."

"I can't live in your house for free, that's not right."

"Fine then." You gave up to give a valid argument. Jimin smiled and the two of you walked home. "What about your stuff?" You asked.

Jimin shrugged. "I really don't want to go back over there to get them." He said.

"I can go with you to get them." You said and he looked at you.

"Really? I'm already causing enough trouble for you." He said.

"No, it's ok. I think it's better to have someone go with you."

"Thank you." He said with a smile. "I still have the key, if it's not too much trouble to go now."

"Ok." You said and you both walked to his old apartment.

When you got there, you were starting to get anxiety. All his clothes fit in two backpacks. You took one to help him carry it, but he said he could carry both. You ended up winning the little argument and carried a backpack.

You both walked home together and laughed about random things. The smile that he had when he was with you didn't hide pain. It was a sincere smile and that made you happy.

That smile is the smile that you want to on his face. "That's the smile I want to see." You thought. You don't know why, but that smile felt like your everything. People usually think you're a pushover because of your kind heart, but Jimin isn't treating you like a pushover. At least you hope he isn't.

But all you can think about his how much you want his happiness to be a reality not a fantasy. You don't care if he thinks of you as a pushover, if Jimin is happy then you're happy. You hoped that he thought the same, if you're happy then he's happy, but you shut down that little hope because you thought it was too selfish.

You don't like to be selfish, that's why people think your a pushover, but you also think it's too selfish to do things for yourself. Even when your coworkers ask you to close up for them, you think it's selfish to let them down and say 'no', but you know that they're going to go out and party. You want to change that, but you don't know how.
