《Supernatural High》Chapter 10

I love Harley, but she was driving me insane. She was being a bit overbearing and it made me want to rip my hair out.
"Kit, I'm so so so sorry for what happened at breakfast!"
"Kit, I'm so sorry about what happened on your birthday! I should have never left you there alone!"
"I'm so sorry!"
I ended up avoiding her all day. At lunch though, I ended up snapping at her.
"Harley! I get it that you are sorry! It's fine! None of it is your fault, so please stop apologizing! I want to just forget that all of it happened!," I snapped and instantly regretted opening my damn mouth. She had tears in her eyes and looked down at her lap with a deep frown.
"Fuck," I mumbled to myself and rubbed my temples. I turned towards her, grabbed her hands, and apologized. "Harley, I'm so sorry for snapping. I'm an ass and shouldn't have taken my frustration out on you." She looked up at me and gave me a shaky smile.
"It's fine, I understand. If that happened to me, I would want to forget too," she wiped her eyes on her sleeve.
"No, it's not," I protested and she rolled her eyes.
"Shut up, dummy," she smiled and gave me a reassuring kiss on the lips. I chuckled and gave her a hug.
"We know that you were fake dating at your old school, but does that kiss mean you're still dating, or what?," Logan asked.
"Me date Kit for real? Ew! No way!," Harley's nose scrunched up in disgust.
I laughed and shook my head, "No, we just had to kiss a lot at our old school and it kinda just became a habit."

"Ah, so does that mean that we can give you friendly kisses as well?," Logan smirked and winked at me. I rolled my eyes and laughed.
"Good try, Lo," I smiled.
"Yeah, that Jace guy might kill you," Harley joked and I looked over at the table of shifters. They were all, except Ares of course, staring at us and Jace was sending Logan a glare.
I rolled my eyes and went back to eating my lunch.
"What's that guy's deal anyways?," Harley whispered to me, not wanting them to listen in on our conversation.
I shrugged and she gave me a look saying we would talk about it later.
"I'm not scared. I think a kiss is worth it," Logan whispered in my ear and I looked down to hide the blush on my cheeks.
During my last class of the day, Jace decided to run next to me while we were running laps. We were silent, except for what he said before going back to his friends.
"My room number is 419 if you need me again. I don't want another incident like earlier to happen again. Got it?"
His words had surprised me and it made me wonder if he knew something I didn't. Maybe Logan would know?
As soon as Logan had walked into our room later that day, I told him what Jace had said and he cocked his head in confusion.
"I don't know. That's a little weird. You said that when you fed from him you finally felt full, right?," he asked.
"Yeah," I nodded and he hummed.
"The only explanation I could think of is if you get insatiable again. I don't know. I'd say to ask him, but I doubt he would tell you. He would probably just say to not worry about it. It's kind of shitty to just leave you in the dark about everything, if you ask me. You deserve to get the answers to your questions," Logan rolled his eyes and clenched his jaw.

"It's alright. I'm sure we will figure it out eventually," I assured him and he nodded.
We were almost done with our homework when Harley walked into our room without knocking. Our neko's were trailing in behind her with blushes on their faces.
"These two were outside your door," she tossed her backpack onto my bed and laid down next to me. She grabbed a book from the bag and started her homework.
I put my remaining homework on the nightstand and opened my arms to Cam. He smiled brightly and quickly scrambled over to the bed. He crawled on top of me, resting his head on my shoulder. I wrapped my arms around him and slid my hands underneath his shirt, rubbing circles on his back as I began feeding from him.
"So, what exactly is happening here?," Harley asked, giving me a curious look.
"We're feeding," Lo answered with a smile on his face and his eyes closed as he fed from Jamie.
"Kit, didn't you technically feed earlier?," Harley asked and Logan told her about the incident a couple days ago. I blushed when he mentioned what we had done in the bathroom and she nudged me with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and told her the point of the story.
"The point is, it's a precaution. We are trying to avoid it happening again, so I've been feeding everyday."
"Also, Cam loves Kit's cuddles," Jamie said and Cam blushed. He buried his face in my neck and I laughed.
"It's okay, don't be embarrassed. I love your cuddles too," I rubbed between his ears and he purred louder.
I had finished feeding from Cam, but couldn't help but notice a strange feeling. I felt like I needed more energy. It confused the hell out of me.
I would tell Lo later when we are alone.
