《Yungi Oneshots》6

Song Mingi was a hard working boy, he focused solely on his work and job so he could make it far in life. He had a plan set in stone; he was following it to a T……. something they didn't plan on was being kidnapped. Oh but not only kidnapped, but being sold on the devils black market. He was scared out of his mind, I mean who wouldn't be. He was locked in a cage with nothing but a pair of boxers on. His wrists hurt from the cold metal shackles digging into his wrist, and pulling on his hands as they were bound above him by a chain connected to the top of the cage. The chain was just long enough to wrap around his wrists, but just short enough he had to stand on his toes. He shivered as he was completely bare. The assholes wouldn't even let him get dressed first, just left him in his boxers. His Eyes were covered and there was a muzzle-like brace on his mouth. It held his jaw closed, locking it in place so not even a whimper could get lose.
Before too long, the cage he was now calling home started moving, it was rolled around before stopping again. “And now for our final item of the day.” Mingis blindfold was pulled off him and he was horrified. He was in a theater, he was on a stage, and all the seats in front of him were full of people dressed in black with glowing red eyes. His heart dropped from his chest and he went pale. Yeah….Definitely not in his plan.. “Bidding starts at 8,765,000 Deus.” The man standing at a podium off to the right of the stage spoke with a proud smirk on his face. The theater erupted into yells of people fighting for their voice to be heard. Mingi came back to his senses and he began struggling against his restraints. The audience began to cheer and fight louder. “Looks like we've got a feisty one on our hands ladies and gentleman” the man chuckled.

As the crowd was really starting to get violent a sharp whistle echoed through the room, “592,431,000!” Silence filled the air as everyone turned to the seven men walking down the aisle to the stage. Three of the seven were wearing open dress shirts showing off their marks on their chest stating they have been claimed by the demons around them. One of them stepped forward holding up a sign with a number on it ‘1024’ “592,431,000 animarum sir.” he spoke in a low voice.
“Oh uh…” the man at the podium cleared his throat. “ 592,431,000 animarum going once…..” he looked around the room, raising his gavel. “Going twice…” The Audience sat frozen to their seats, the only sound was the rattling of mingis chains as he continued to struggle. The man slammed his gavel against the podium “Sold to the seven men in the aisle…if you don't mind me asking, why so much for this piece?’
The man holding the sigh dropped his arm and smirked. “Well, one of my brothers has yet to claim his own and this piece would make a great addition to our collection.”
“Of course sir.'' The man smiled and looked at the audience still sitting in shock. “Thank you all for coming to our 5th annual auction, if you all would please pay the debt collector at the front doors and proceed to the back of the building to collect your prizes,” the man bowed and the curtains closed. The man walked over to mingi and smirked at him. “I guess it's your lucky day kid, you get to go to a nice big family. I do hope they will take good care of you.” he slipped a hand between the bars and traced a finger over mingis abs. “Too bad too, I would have loved to have you to myself for a few hours.” Mingis eyes darkened and he did the first thing that came to his mind. He thrust his legs up and nailed the guy in the face. The man fell back and a low growl left his throat, his eyes now a crimson red. The gavel in his hand changed shape, and instead of it being a small hammer it was now a cattle prod, he pressed a button and they zapped together. The man circled the cage so he was at mingis back. He thrust the stick through the cage to connect with his flesh, if it wasn't for the muzzle, mingi would have screamed in pain by now. The man did this a few more times before a vine shot up through the stage and wrapped around his throat.

“You're damaging the goods. MY goods.” A tall figure stood behind him with dark red eyes. More figures stood around him.
“Now,Yunho, play nice. He was just warming him up for us.” The older of the two walked to the auctioneer and glared at him.
“Touch him again and a vial of Deus Root may slip into your mouth as you are regenerating.” His sinister smirk glowing in the darkness. The auctioneer stared at him with wide eyes and shook his head. “Never again sir…” He choked out.
“Yunho be a dear and let him go, your prize is waiting for you.” his sultry voice rang through the empty theater, the vine around the auctioneer dropped and the man ran away. The now remaining seven men surrounded the cage staring up at mingi. His eyes were drooping and his chest rising and falling quickly as he tried to catch his breath. Yunho stepped up to the cage and snaked his arms through to gently caress the boy's face.
“You're safe now…” was all mingi heard before he passed out.
