It's been about a day since what happened and Sin's been feeling me in on everything that's been going on. And man have I been out of the loop, apparently some new guy called the Mayor is taking over The Glades. Got guys all over certain areas of The Glades well you can't even get a good meal. But mine is all that talk I'm currently in a police car riding along with my adopted father Quentin Lance.

"So you never exactly told me why you came and picked me up. Not to mention bought me a hot dog. Did you get promotion or something?"- (y/n)

"What I can't just do something nice for you kid? Besides me and you don't really get to do that much so I figured I might as well try."- Quentin

"Mr. Lance you don't have to do that. Everything you've done this far is fine."- (y/n)

"Me and your dad were best friends growing up kid. True he may have came from The Glades and I was a middle class kid but we still got along here and there. Did he ever tell you about the time me and him pranks our geometry teacher?"- Quentin

"You and him did what?"- (y/n)

"Oh yeah, think it was sophomore year. We thought it would be a good idea to make our teacher brownies or something like that. However what he didn't know was it had Ex-Lax in it, and the next thing you know he was in the bathroom for hours!"- Quentin

"You and my dad did that? Yeah right, I ain't that stupid heheh."- (y/n)

"Oh what you doing believe me? You can ask I'm yourself."- Quentin

I was getting ready to ask him what was he talking about until he stop his car and I looked around and saw that we where at a prison. It didn't take me long to realize the reason why Quentin came and picked me up. It's to see my dad normally it wouldn't be that hard to see my dad but, for a reason I still don't know he wasn't allowed visits. Not wanting to wait any longer I got out and went inside, after I filled out my papers and everything else I was taken to a room that had phones on the wall and two way glass. I took a seat and Mr.Quentin was waiting outside cause he said this is a father son moment and he didn't want to intrude. After some time a man was being escorted out of a room by a cop and I couldn't help but smile.

It was my dad and the second he saw me his eyes widened and he chuckled a little. I did the exact same thing too, my dad took a seat and picked up the phone and we started talking.

"Man how've I missed you boy."- Aaron

"Yeah, you got a haircut, how're people gonna know I'm your son?"- (y/n)

"Hahaha, boy you get your hair from ya mama and not me."- Aaron

"Oh my god."- (y/n)

We got to catching up with each other and I was enjoying myself. We mainly talked about me but that was his choice. Saying no prison bird has a song to sing, but I'd disagree we kept talking and talking and surprisingly only 19 minutes have passed.

"So you been doing good with the Lance's?"- Aaron

"Uh, yeah we've..... we've been doing good."- (y/n)

"Hey hey, don't give me that. Now I know I've been in here for awhile but I'm still ya dad. And I know when ya lying to me."- Aaron

That is seriously on the most annoying things about my dad. I don't really like talking about this but he's my dad and I can't really lie.

"It's um. I honestly have been trying to keep my distance."- (y/n)

"Why?"- Aaron

"I don't know, it just feels weird you know. I mean Sara's been gone for awhile and well Oliver is alive so it goes without saying some old emotions might be, well coming up. I know I'm not a replacement or anything but, I also feel like I would be intruding on their family."- (y/n)

"Your 17 you shouldn't be worrying or thinking about stuff like that. You been to the Glades lately?"- Aaron

"Yeah why?"- (y/n)

"How's that Sin girl been you two a thing yet?"- Aaron

"Dad!!"- (y/n)

"Hahahah oh you should see your face."- Aaron

"Not funny."- (y/n)

"To me it is. But, look you still making beats?"- Aaron

"Not since I got adopted by the Lance's. All my stuff is still at our old house."- (y/n)

"Ight look I got a flashdrive at the house in my room. It's an old project I was working on, maybe you can finish it for me."- Aaron

"Alright then."- (y/n)

"And lastly, the Queen's are our friends too. Don't forget that."- Aaron

"How did you?"- (y/n)

"I'm your dad, and I'm not blinde. I can see something else is bothering you. Now it's getting close for our talk to be over, now here's what your gonna you gonna leave go and straighten yourself out."- Aaron

"Already, love you dad."- (y/n)

"Love you too son. Hey one last thing, you think you can visit your mom's grave and leave some flowers for me?"- Aaron

"Yeah."- (y/n)

Both me and my father hung up and I went to leave. I went and met with Mr. Lance and we had a bit of a talk a good heart to heart and I told him how I felt weird about the whole Sara thing and he understood but I still feel bad about what I said. After all that I went to the Glades and for good company I called Sin and she told me there's a weapons exchange for money going on. And me being the type of guy who likes seeing cool looking guns, automatically said I'm in. I finally got to The Glades and we started to look around and talk to each other she said Max didn't want to come, but it's fine that was until she spotted the guy we saw the other day.

"Hey, look who it is."- Sin

"That guy from yesterday?"- (y/n)

I took a closer look and he was with a girl not just any girl girl though. He was with Thea Queen, and if Thea is here that must mean Oliver is here.

All I could think of is why would they be in the Glades for this but before I could even voice my opinion Sin went closer to them and spoke.

"Yo, Abercrombie. Where's your manners?"- Sin

Both Thea and the other guy turned around and looked at us, I wanted to hide my face cuz funny enough. Sin doesn't know I'm acquainted with Thea Queen and we'll, okay let's just say I know almost everyone here right now minus the dude in the red jacket.

"Sin, this is Thea. Thea, this is Sin. But, I don't know the other guy."- red jacket

"(Y/n)?"- Thea

"What?" Sin & Red jacket

".......yeah....hey Thi."- (y/n)

"Wait Thea, you know this guy?"- red jacket

"Yeah, this is my friend (y/n). It's a long story but, why haven't you answered my text I was worried about you."- Thea

"I was.... in a bit of a low. However I'm sorry I'm okay. And I would like to take that job offer though. I would ask how your doing but, you seem happy."- (y/n)

"Well now that we're all introduced, look at you running with royalty Roy. By the way the salad forks the small one."- Sin

"Yeah, it's good to see you again."- Roy

You can really tell by the way he said it but, I knew it was sarcasm or at least away from him to say 'can you hurry up and just go'. which I would have happily done if Sin didn't walk up to him and whisper something into his ear and finished by saying something to Thea.

"Nice to meet you your highness."- Sin

"You too."- Thea

"Okay no no."- (y/n)

I lightly took Sin arm and walked away waving bye to Thea. Second we got out of eyesight I let her go and we both stopped walking. I turned around to look at her and she had her arms crossed with a slight look that says 'Start talking.'.

"Okay, where should I start."- (y/n)

"How about, when were you going to tell me you knew Thea Queen. Come on I thought we where closer then that."- Sin

"We are it's just I didn't want her to know I knew you and I didn't want you to know I knew her."- (y/n)

"Oh really?"- Sin

I stop to think about what I just said and I realize how that probably could have came off. This is why I prefer not to talk or have two female friends get to know each other cuz of this.

"Okay that's not what I meant."- (y/n)

"No it's fine. Didn't want your rich cute friends to know about being acquainted with trash in The Glades."- Sin

"No, sin it's not that."- (y/n)

"Sure it's not."- Sin

I was getting ready to say something else but Sin just started to walk away.

'Aaaah!! Why am I like this I've screwed up big time!!! Aaaahh!!!'- (y/n)

This is got to be the dumbest thing I have ever done or the worst day I have ever been in right now. I mean yeah I got to see my dad but I think I just lost my best friend. Not even like a minute later some guys in like a truck just started to come and make a scene. He called himself the mayor of The Glades but, it's nothing but a title and BS. Both him and some guy exchanged words and well let's just say some bullets went flying. And everyone started to take cover I looked around and saw that a guy got a gun pointed in Sins direction and didn't know what happened next my body just reacted.

"Sin!!"- (y/n)

I ran over to her as fast as I could and I tackled her out the way and I felt something hit my side. It was a sharp pain and my side started to get a little bit warm.

"(Y/n)?"- Sin

"Y-you okay?"- (y/n)

"Yeah I'm fine but."- Sin

Before she finished I got off her and she saw a little blood on her hands and she looked at me and saw that was holding my side.

"Oh my God! No no no no no no no! Hey hey breath look at me look at me!"- Sin

"You remember a few years ago I did say if anyone was gonna die in the Glades it would be me huh hehehe."- (y/n)

"Shut up, don't talk like that! HELP! SOMEBODY GET HELP!"- Sin

"Hey, I'm sorry for what I said I........ didn't....."- (y/n)

"(Y/n)...no keep your eyes open (y/n)!!"- Sin

Everything start to feel numb, my body is feeling limp, my eyes are getting heavy. International get around sleepy, last thing that you remember was seeing someone running to both me and Sin but, after that.......... Darkness.
