(No ones POV)

After what happened with the goblins in the forest both Rimuru & (y/n) where taken to the goblin village where they met the elder of the goblins.

"Welcome to our humble town, we are honored to have you here. I am the elder of this village."- elder

"Hello it's nice to meet you, I'm Rimuru and this is my brother (y/n)."- Rimuru

"Well in all my years, I have never seen two monsters of a difference race make a brotherly bond."- elder

"Um, if you don't mind me asking sir (y/n)...what kind of a monster are you?"- bandana

'Oh I'm just a regular old Pokemon no big. Tch yeah right no way I'm going to acknowledge the fact that I'm a pokemon now, but what can I say?'- (y/n)

"Oh my brother is a extremely rare monster known as a Dicynodont."- Rimuru

"Ah, I see"- Bandana

'Wait a what?'- (y/n)

"Anyway what kind of favor did you guys need from us?"- Rimuru

"Have you perhaps noticed that many monsters in the area are unusually active as of late?"- Elder

"No?"- (y/n)

"Our God that always protected us suddenly disappeared without a trace about a month ago. As a result, the monsters in this area have continuously harassed our poor little village."- elder

You wouldn't be able to tell but both Rimuru and (y/n) had the same thought as to who the elder might be talking about. From the store Rimuru told (y/n) first he found the Storm Dragon Veldora in the cave before he met (y/n) so the time seems to link up. But the one thing that stuck out the most was the fact that they think they wouldn't be that much help.

"Um listen, we don't mean to be rude but, what can we possibly do?"- (y/n)

"Yeah, we're just low level monsters. We aren't really that strong so I doubt we'll be too much help."- Rimuru

The two goblins chuckled at what the two brothers said like they where messing around or something.

"You two are so modest."- elder

"And funny too."- bandana

"???"- Rimuru & (y/n)

"There's no way you expect us to believe that you're both weak. Especially with that over whelming aura you both possess."- elder

'Aura, the heck is he talking about is that like energy or something? Hey Navi can you change my magic since's perspective please?'- (y/n)

'Certainly.'- Navi

Unknown to (y/n), Rimuru had the same idea he did. As soon as they did they felt a little embarrassed because it seems like their aura was leaking all over the place. Separately Rimuru seems to be the strongest out of the two which is to be expected senior as he did take the power of the Storm Dragon Veldora. But together oh boy it was terrifying.

'Holy crap, is that seriously the aura around us!? It's like we're walking around with our flies wide open! This is so bad no wonder those goblins were groveling back in the forest!! Okay stay calm I'll just play it off like I knew all along and it was part of a plan.'- Rimuru & (y/n)

"Oh, hehehe... you noticed huh how wise of you."- Rimuru

"Well of course there's no hiding that potent air around you both."- elder

"Ah, yes how foolish of both me and my brother. We should have known we wouldn't be able to fool The Village Elder, I congratulate you on your bravery."- (y/n)

"Ah, I see know the two of you where testing us!"- elder

'Da flip am I even saying I didn't even know that I was admitting an arua!'- (y/n)

After the two brothers managed to suck in the aura the elder started to explain the situation. Apparently even having trouble with nearby monsters known as direwolves who attacked them from the East, many of the goblins lost their lives in the battle and one of them being the elders first son. They're said to be a lot stronger than the goblins and it takes at least 10 of them to kill only one wolf. All in all there's about 100 direwolves, and as for the goblins counting the women there's only 60 those weren't really good odds. They continue to talk and found out that a named warrior try to fight them even though he knew the odds apparently the named warrior was also the elders son.

"Hey elder."- (y/n)

"Ah, yes sir?"- elder

"What's in it for us if we do help?"- (y/n)

"Um... well."- elder

Seeing the look on their faces. Made (Y/n) kind of feel bad for asking, but he had to. The goblin with the bandana looks like he's lost all hope and at the door or in this case entrance some of the goblin children looking so sad.

'I see what he's doing, I actually wanted to try to do the same thing myself. It's not that we actually want compensation, but it also wouldn't hurt to put on a show.'- Rimuru

"I agree with my brother. I mean what's in it for us what will we get in return if we decide to help you?"- Rimuru

"We....we could offer our our unfaltering loyalty!"- Elder

The Goblin Elder boughs down started to beg like his life depended on it which it kinda does.

"Please strong ones we asked you to protect our village with your Divine protection and then returned we will serve you!"- elder

"We promise!"- bandana

Both Rimuru and (y/n) looked at the two goblins in front of them begging. But for some reason this hit (y/n) the most.

'Why does this feel.... familiar?'- (y/n)

I was laying in a bed until a girl comes running in to my room. She had short, black-brown hair, and milky white skin. Wearing a red jacket with a pair of yellow pants and slippers.

"Bro, I need your help!"- ???

"What's the matter now Emiy?"- (y/n)

"I need you to help me plant and take care of my watermelon seeds, I know your busy but pretty please I'm begging you!!!"- Emiy

"Okay okay calm down.... jeez.... I guess I could help."- (y/n)

"Yaaaaay!! Your the best brother ever!"- Emiy

'Emiy.......... I had a sister?'- (y/n)

My thoughts where side tracked when I heard the sound of a wolfs howl and the goblins panicking. Saying things like "we're all going to die" or "their going to eat us all". Hearing this made me make up my mind alot fast then what I was going to and I'm sure Rimuru had the same idea.

"You have nothing to fear!"- Rimuru

"Because we're going to defeat them."- (y/n)

"Gah, so does that mean you two."- elder

Me and Rimuru took a good look at each other and nodded our heads looking back at the goblins.

"In lieu of Veldora the Storm Dragon, we The Tempest brother's shall protect you. We've decided to grant you your wish."- Rimuru & (y/n)
