“Wow, you really suck at this.”

Offering Reece my best death glare, I try to keep my balance on his skateboard for longer than two seconds without making a complete and utter fool out of myself.

Well. Obviously, I fail.

Again.

Time slows down as the skateboard swiftly slips from beneath my feet, making me trip over my own legs and land on my butt.

Yay life.

My cheeks begin to burn with embarrassment as the boys howl with laughter. In moments, Dennis is right by my side, helping me up like the gentleman he is.

Reece on the other hand, is having trouble breathing from his laughing fit.

Ignoring the jerk, I reach out for my water bottle, unscrew the lid and quickly swallow a mouthful.

Suddenly, I find myself violently choking from the burning sensation at the back of my throat.

Coughing aggressively, I stare back at them with wide eyes. “What the…? What is this?!”

Valentino smiled innocently, “Water?”

Coughing again, I am moments away from exploding with rage, “That,” I mentioned, pointing towards the clear liquid in the bottle, “is not water.”

My eyes flickered to Reece’s smug-looking expression as he stared back at me with so much amusement.

He feigned a guilty look, “Damn Chloe, looks like our bottles accidentally got mixed up.” He told me, shrugging as he handed me my actual water bottle, “But hey, congratulations, you just had your first shot of Vodka.”

“Gee. Thanks.”

“No worries.”

“I hate you.”

“You love me.”

I turned away from his piercing gaze, knowing that if I continued looking at him then I’d get lost in his mischievous eyes. And right now, I was supposed to be mad at him.

So why can’t I stop smiling?

Opening the trunk and sitting on the edge of the vehicle, I admired our surrounding. We were currently parked alongside a deserted road, in front of the only gas station there was at reach for a long time. Thankfully, it also had a fast food outlet, so the twins had gone in to get us some lunch and snacks.

Logging onto my Facebook account on Valentino’s iphone, I noticed I had a new private message.

Chloe!

How are you love?! It’s been a million years since we last spoke!

We need to catch up one day, there’s so much I have to tell you!

Remember that day you came over and we went on about my type of guy? Loud, confident and preferably with green eyes?

Well, I think I’ve just fallen for the complete opposite.

You see, there’s this boy in my Biology class, and he’s just so... (ugh, I can’t even find the right words to describe him)…he’s so…different!

He gets into trouble a lot - he's a badass. But he doesn’t hang out with anyone. He’s always alone, because he wants to be, not because people wont talk to him, cause they do try to, I’ve seen it happen so many times. People always try to start a conversation with him, but he just bluntly ignores them and leaves. Hell, this guy doesn’t even smile. But then there’s me… his exact opposite. And it’s just so interesting to meet someone who is so unpredictable. What’s even more fascinating is that although he doesn’t talk to anyone, he says ‘Whats up’ to me whenever he walks past.

Oh, and yesterday when we were talking, I didn’t just make him smile (which by the way is the RAREST, most amazing and adorable thing, ever), I made him laugh too.

Oh my God. I didn’t realize I wrote so much! Sorry!

Any chance you’re free next Saturday? Maybe we could go out for brunch?

Much love!

Hasti

I found myself grinning like a spastic, and was about to reply when suddenly, a click of a camera distracted me. Looking up from the phone, I watched as a photo instantly emerged from the Polaroid that Reece was currently holding.

He smiled at me.

At that small gesture, that tiny curve of his lips, made my heart flutter and my breath get caught up in my throat. None too soon, I found myself smiling back. After all, his smile was nothing but contagious.

“So…” Reece smirked, tilting his head to the side, “we can cross off having your first drink of alcohol, yes?”

For a second, I was too absorbed in the way his hair slightly fell over his captivating green eyes, making me want to reach out and gently brush it away. When I realized that he would soon figure out that I was potentially staring at him, I quickly dropped my gaze, feeling my cheeks warm up.

Dammit Chloe. Stop acting like you’re a never-spoken-to-a-person-from-the-opposite-sex kind of girl. Grow some balls!

Figuratively, of course.

So I lifted my head up and flashed him a bright smile, before playfully shoving him, “Jerk.”

I was about to walk away, but he tugged me back and held the camera in front of us, with the lens facing our way. “Hey, hold on.” He said, trying to balance with one hand, with his other arm flung casually around my shoulders. My heart raced at how close we were, so close, I was intoxicated by how good he smelt. Reece, on the other hand, didn’t seem to notice. Instead, he was trying to stop the Polaroid from tilting because of its weight, so I reached up and held the other side so it could be positioned properly.

Reece clicked the button, and a second later, another photo jumped out. I swiftly caught it before it fell, and began fanning it to make the picture show up. Figuring it’ll take a few minutes to appear, I walked past him, and made my way to where the rest of the boys were sitting down on the empty road, eating the burgers Jake and Jayden had gotten. Reece followed behind me, chucking quietly as I grabbed two burgers and handed him one, trying my best to act unaffected by the sparks that shot through my arm as his fingers brushed over mine.

As we sat down and joined the guys, I couldn’t help but think about how much my life had taken such a turning point. I still couldn’t wrap my head around the fact that I was on a roadtrip to a fighting championship, with the five most interesting boys I have ever gotten the chance to meet, one of which I was falling in love with.

And then my gaze fell onto the photo, eyes widening as I noticed the picture that was now present.

I couldn’t help but smile at how adorable the photo was, butterflies erupted my stomach as I looked at how cute we were together. We were both smiling like idiots, our toothy grins making anyone convinced that we were living the life, completely happy and without a worry in the world.

Huh, I guess we kinda were.

But that wasn’t the only thing that caught my attention, what captured my interest was that while I was smiling at the camera, Reece’s eyes were glancing at me, looking at me as if he also shared the same feelings as the ones I had towards him.

But that’s not possible, is it?

Reece didn’t actually like me back, did he?

“So, what do you think, loser?”

“What?”

Reece shook his head, “Forget it.”

My mouth formed into an ‘O’, “What?! No! Don’t do that! Tell me!”

“Nope, too bad. Should’ve been listening, nerd.”

I slapped his arm, “Reece! Don’t be mean! I hate it when people do that!”

The boys laughed, clearly enjoying my frustration. Reece had that cheeky glint in his eyes, “Hmm, I don’t know…” he trailed, as if he were in thought, “maybe if you used the magic word…I might tell you.”

Magic word? Really? What was he, five years old?

I raised a brow, confused, “Uh, please?”

Reece pretended to be disappointed, but his mischievous smirk never left his face. “That’s not the magic word.”

I thought hard. Genuinely curious as to what he was asking me about before.

Magic word…magic word…

Wait.

“Now, now, Chloe. Did you forget the magic word?” Reece leered, teasing me by holding me further down until I made a 70° slant with the grassy ground.

“Reece! HAHA Oh my God. Get me up! PLEASE.” I cried with a smile plastered on my face. He was so going to pay for this.

Reece laughed and brought me back up, sliding his hand around my waist to support me. Instinctively, I clung both arms around his neck, hanging onto him like my life depended on it. I felt Reece’s chest vibrate as he let out a series of laughter, which I only returned with a death stare.

“You know, the magic word wasn’t actually ‘please’. It was--

I snorted. “Haha, no, I’m not saying that.”

“Why? You and I both know it’s true.” He winked.

A moment of silence passed as I examined his face, a small smirk tugging at his soft pink lips. My eyes flickered away before I got too distracted and focused on Jake and Jayden’s excited expressions, as well as Valentino, who looked as if he was going to tell me any moment now. Even Dennis looked kind of pumped.

I rolled my eyes, before sighing in defeat. The curiosity was killing me.

“Reece is sexy.” I mumbled.

Reece cupped the back of his ear, pretending that he was hearing impaired. “Sorry, what? I didn’t quite get that, babe. Might want to say that a little louder.”

I narrowed my eyes at him, “Reece is sexy.” I said quietly, but still audible and clear.

Valentino snickered.

“Sorry, princess. I didn’t catch that either, all well, it seems like you don’t want to know…”

“Reece is sexy, Goddammit!”

A moment of silence passed before the boys began howling with laughter, their wolf whistles flooding my ears.

“Ooh, Flir-tay.” Reece teased.

I punched his arm dejectedly, “I hate you.”

He shook his head and laughed, before shooting me a wink, “You love me.”

I rolled my eyes again, “So are you going to tell me what you were talking about before?”

Reece crossed his arms behind his head, and leaned against the car door, “Jayden, wanna do the honors?

My eyes flickered over to Jayden, who smirked as he held a black bag.

“Well,” he began, “doing something illegal is part of your bucket list, yeah?”

Oh oh. I did not like where this was going.

“Yeah…” I admitted quietly, worried about what they were planning, “so?”

Jayden winked at me, before unzipping the bag, and revealing cans upon cans of spray paint.

“Vandalism, anyone?”

It took me a moment to register everything in my head, before my eyes widened in total disbelief. “You have got to be kidding me. “

Oh but they weren’t. Because these were the bad boys of Prescott Private we were talking about.

They don’t kid, they create chaos.

And so, the next thing I knew, we were at the back of the gas station, where the plain brick walls acted as our canvas. Reece was beside me, with a black can in his hands. He care-freely threw away the lid and began creating his masterpiece.

The rest of the boys followed his actions, and in seconds, the once ordinary dirty-yellow wall, was covered with colourful graffiti.

“Come on, nerd, make your mark.”

I took one last look into Reece's playful eyes, before opening the cap to the cherry-red spray paint that I was currently holding in my shaky hands.

And with that, I mentally crossed off yet another thing on my bucketlist.

A/N - THREE MORE CHAPTERS LEFT! :D

Writers block is a bitch. This chapter took me ages to write, but that's okay, because the next one's going to be full of Reece x Chloe, and a whole lot of...Ashton DeVille.

Oops. I've said too much. Hehehe (;

So, what's new guys? How 'you all doing? <3

Well, right now I'm trying to get my guy best friend a present for his birthday. And it's so hard because he's a guy, and because he's not a girl, because if he was, it would have been so much easier, but no, he's a guy...a really guy-ish guy. Fml.

COTE!!!!
