《The Bad Boy, Cupid & Me》The Bad Boy, Cupid & Me [ 6 ]

Just how I like to blame Disney for my high expectations of men, I like to blame Hollywood movies for making breaking in and entering look like it’s no trouble at all.
I had to pay attention to what I held onto for support, where I stepped on, make sure not to make a sound and finally…not fall.
Honestly, I don’t think I have ever prayed so much in my life.
God, please don’t let me fall.
God, please help me.
God, please don’t let me die – not like this.
God, PLEASE don’t let him wake up and think I’m some creepy teenage stalker that likes watching him outside his bedroom window.
I think I spent most of the time praying for the last one.
When I finally made it, I glanced inside from behind the glass.
Aww. Reece was still asleep.
Okay, that was stalker-ish.
My fingers gently began to pull the window open and I slowly began lifting my leg and entering his bedroom
I cursed myself for doing things in the spur of the moment; I can’t believe I didn’t change before I decided to do this. I mean, I was wearing a singlet and short shorts. Really short, short shorts.
It took me a moment for things to sink in.
I was in Reece Carter’s bedroom.
~*~
I am positive that my heartbeat was loud enough to wake him up.
WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING?!
Entering his room? Trying to grab my diary? Okay, what the heck was I going to do if he woke up?!
Sing him a lullaby so he’d go back to sleep? I think not.
Right now, I had two choices:
1. Grab the diary and leave.
2. Leave right now.
Except there was a tiny problem, in order to do any of those options, I had to do them without Reece waking up.

It was beginning to sound like a Hollywood movie.
I looked at his mini shelf. My diary’s gold cover was shining like some kind of prized possession.
Well, yeah, to me it is.
Soon, I found myself taking little steps towards it – towards where Reece was lying down on his bed – all I had to do was reach for it and run.
My diary; so close, but so far.
All I had to do was lean over Reece, just a bit…a little more… almost there…
Suddenly, I was seized by the waist, flipped around and found myself situated under the warm, muscular body of Reece Carter.
Oh shit.
The moonlight hit his face and I saw his green eyes glisten.
Yeah, they weren’t too happy.
My breathing was heavy, our eyes just stayed locked. His grip was tight enough to ensure I wouldn’t go anywhere.
Well, with all the sparks he was sending through my body, I don’t think I wanted to go just yet.
I saw a flash of amusement in his eyes right when his lips formed into his famous smirk.
“Wow, you really suck at this,” He was referring to my ‘entering in’ skills. “But you can cook right?”
I actually didn’t know what to say, I was trying to get over the fact that he didn’t seem to be angry or well…creeped out.
So I began struggling to get out of his hold and let out a nervous laugh, “Get off of me, you weigh like a hundred tonnes.”
He looked offended. “You know Chloe, it’s a good thing I have such high self esteem. That could have really hurt my feelings.”
I looked away to hide my smile, and then started hitting his chest.
Somewhere in the back of my mind, I wondered if I was hitting him so he’d let go, or because I liked touching his toned, bare upper body.

Wait, what?!
“Why aren’t you wearing a shirt?!” I groaned, he was making this much harder than it already was.
He looked at my body and grinned.
“Why are you wearing a shirt?”
“Pervert.”
“Well, at least I don’t creep into people’s bedrooms.” I blushed in embarrassment and was thankful it was dark enough so Reece wouldn’t see.
“Give me my diary back Reece.”
His tone deliberately changed into one where a primary school teacher would speak to a naughty student.
“Now Chloe, what do we normally say at the end of a sentence when we want someone to do something for us?”
I stared at him blankly; he wasn’t serious, was he?
“Err…please?”
“Good, you’re progressing, now let’s try that again, shall we?”
After several more minutes of hitting him and more struggling, I gave in.
“Fine,” I sighed. “Please give me my diary back.”
He winked.
“No.”
~*~
The jerk was like a brick wall. He would not budge.
“Seriously, if you don’t stop hitting me, I’m getting a restraining order…or maybe even charge you, and you know what?”
“What?”He leaned in closer, lowered his sexy Spanish voice and whispered into my ear.
“You can’t afford me.”
Half the time, I didn’t know whether to laugh at his cockiness or cry in frustration. My hands were hurting from the number of times I’ve attempted at breaking free.
If only I didn’t rush into things. If only I didn’t do things in the moment.
If only…wait a minute.
This part of my life is called: Having no other choice.
I tilted my head up…and kissed him.
At first, he tensed up in surprise and I was fearing the humiliation if he pulled away.
Only, he didn’t. I softly traced his lips and felt his firm body relax. After a long, enduring moment, Reece Carter kissed me back.
The sparks began with a gentle tingling from my lips, but then it felt like fireworks went off, making us both give in to the soft strength of a beautiful and passionate kiss.
So you could imagine how much it took me to take hold of the opportunity and kick him between his legs.
Hard, very hard.
He let out a small cry in pain and let go of me.
It was now or never.
I snatched my diary from the shelf and jumped out the window.
This definitely felt like a Hollywood movie.
I got into my room, pulled the window shut, locked it and closed the curtains.
I didn’t dare take a look.
I don’t think I really wanted to.
Instead, I slid down against my bedroom wall, pulled my legs up together and brought my fingers up to my lips.
I could still taste the sweetness of his lips on mine.

Listening to Latin Girl by Justin Bieber I’m not in love with the guy, but I do think he’s done very well for a seventeen year old :)
