You looked at Jungkook and Jimin waving at you then looked back at Taehyung, he didn't look any better.
"Do you want to drink with us?" You asked him and pointed at Jimin and Jungkook. They were waving around bottles of soju.
Taehyung hesitated for a moment but then agreed. As soon as Jimin and Jungkook realized who you were walking with, they scowled. 'Not now' You mouthed to them. The last thing you wanted was to make him feel worse. Wait...why do I even care?
"Hey." Taehyung said as he sat down and scratched the back of his head.
"Hi." Jungkook replied.
"Hello." Jimin said then looked back at the river. Awkward silence took over for a few seconds.
"Sooo," You tried to break off the silence, "Why don't you guys talk about your jobs? All of us work in the creative field."
"Oh, really?" Taehyung asked, he seemed genuinely interested.
"I work in Film production." Jungkook said while smiling.
"That's cool," Taehyung replied, "I've always been interested in film and photography."
"I'm a dancer," Jimin said, "I mean, only started this career recently, but it's exciting!"
"Right! I remember when Hoseok used to beat you in those competitions." Taehyung said.
Jimin frowned, "Is that the only thing I'm known for in high school?"
"To be honest," Taehyung said, "I always enjoyed your dancing more."
"Really?" Jimin asked.
Taehyung nodded, "Don't get me wrong, Hoseok is an amazing dancer, but I'm more into the artistic style of things. I like how contemporary portrays so many deep emotions."
You couldn't help but smile, creativity and expression were what got you into photography in the first place, so seeing him talk about it made you happy and somewhat nostalgic.

Jimin smiled, "I like him." He whispered. Taehyung laughed as he heard what Jimin said.
"Let's drink!" Jungkook said.
"I'll just get some juice." Taehyung said, and got up.
"You don't drink?" Jimin asked. Taehyung shook his head, "Don't have great memories with that." He said. I wonder what happened. He also didn't want to drink while playing truth or dare.
A few minutes later, Taehyung was back with an orange juice bottle.
"Cheers!" You said.

.
You looked at the river as you heard Jimin and Jungkook's hyper laughs. Your head started to feel heavy, you haven't drunk as much as Jimin and Jungkook, but your tolerance was very low.
You felt someone pull your head onto their shoulder. I know this scent...
You closed your eyes for a few seconds but then opened it abruptly, "Jungkook?"
"Y/n." He mumbled. "I love you!" His tone was a lot higher all of a sudden. Taehyung looked at him in a judgmental way, a laugh almost escaped his lips.
"I love you too, kookie." You replied.
"No, you- you don't understand." Jungkook said. Your gaze shifted from the collapsed Jimin on the grass to Jungkook's serious face. Taehyung kept looking at you quietly.
"What do you mea-" You got interrupted by Jungkook's lips slamming onto yours. It took you a moment to fully process what was going on before you forcefully pushed him away.
"Am I a joke to you?" You asked, tears started forming through your eyes, but you covered it up by rage. "Are you using me as a rebound now??"
"No, Y/n-"
"Don't give me excuses!" You said, "Honestly, do you actually love me? Or is this about Jieun?"
He looked at the ground shamefully.

"I knew it." You got up and walked away, trying your best to not to trip onto anything.
"Y/n!" You heard Taehyung call out from behind you. He put his hand on your shoulder, you shoved it away.
"Leave me alone."
"I know how you feel right now." He said, then looked at his feet, "I was a rebound once...at least you knew it wasn't real and rejected him. I was an idiot."
You went silent for a moment, "How did you get over it?"
"I slowly fell in love with someone else." He looked at you then gave you a faint smile."You'll get over him, trust me." He said. You smiled back.
"Wanna go back?" He asked, you nodded. Jungkook stayed silent as soon as he saw you.
"I'll help you take him home." Taehyung said and carried Jimin.
Jimin opened his eyes slightly, "Y/n, he has a nice side profile." he mumbled and lost consciousness again.
"Sorry about him." You said. Taehyung smiled.
You helped Jungkook up, it was awkward, but at least he was conscious enough to walk alone with just a little support from you.
You opened the door to your apartment, and turned on all the lights. "You can put Jimin on the couch." You told Taehyung.
Jungkook lowered his gaze, "I'm sorry." He said and went to his room. You sighed.
"I think Jimin has his keys somewhere here." You searched his pockets and finally found it.
"I'm sorry," You laughed nervously, "But can you help me take him to his apartment?"
"Sure." He carried Jimin, "Where is it?"
"It's next door." You opened the door to his apartment. Taehyung opened the bedroom's door and put Jimin on his bed.
"This looks exactly like your apartment." He laughed.
"It does!" You replied, "Except for the fact that there is only one bedroom."
"Thank you for keeping my mind busy." Taehyung said, "I was having a terrible day."
"Thank you for helping me out, too." You smiled.
He left the apartment and started walking away. You closed the door and followed him quickly.
"Where are you gonna go?" You asked him, just before he entered the elevator.
"Are you worried about me?" He smirked.
"N-No, just answer the question!"
"I don't know either, I'll figure it out."
"You can stay at my place!" You blurted out before you could stop yourself. He looked at you, confused.
"Jimin just moved out, so the couch is empty." You said.
"Are you sure you're ok with that?" He asked. You nodded, "But you won't stay for long!" you added.
"Deal." He smiled.
