I backed away from them. I wanted to run, but I couldn't leave Valeria. They had her.

"I-I didn't tell anyone about happened," I stayed. "You can trust me."

"I don't trust anyone," he said, coldly.

"Well, you're not kidnappping me, again, or my friend," I declared. I gained my composure and crossed my hands over my chest. My lips pouted.

"You don't really have a choice now, do you?" Giovanni smirked.

I clenched my teeth together. He got on my nerves. I still stuck my ground and didn't move from where I was standing.

"I hate you rich folk," he muttered under his breath. I heard it.

"Hey! That's pretty hypocritical considering a rich folk is in your gang," I shot back.

Giovanni glared at me. He seemed irritated with my attitude. Derrick also snapped his head in our direction.

"Don't include me in your arguments," Derrick said.

"Now, either you come willingly, or we kill your pretty little friend here," Giovanni threatened.

Grae tightened his grip on Valeria, earning a pained scream to escape her rosy lips. I flinched, my heart ached.

I took to long to answer since Grae quickly brought out a metallic gun and pressed it against her temple.

"Chanel! Don't do it!" Valeria yelled.

"Shut up." Grae immediately clutched his hand over her mouth, muffled cries were heard from her.

I couldn't let this happen to her.

"Time is ticking, princess," Giovanni sneered.

"Don't call me that!" I snapped. He couldn't do this to me.

Suddenly I heard a click come from the gun and I surrendered. "Fine! I-I'll go, just don't hurt her."

"Good. Grae, let go of her," Giovanni ordered.

"I was kind of liking her presence," Grae snickered.

I rolled my eyes. "Only if you let her go and leave her out of everything."

"You will not tell me what to do," Giovanni told me.

"I will do what I please and you won't be able to stop me," I argued back.

"Oh, I can stop you, alright," Giovanni snarled. "Now, bring the girl with us."

Grae dragged Valeria out of the forest. I froze. I was paralyzed. He was kidnapping my friend, too.

"I said you'll let her go, if I came with you willingly," I reminded him. He seemed to forget what we had spoken about seconds ago.

"If you want your friend to have a bullet through her brain then you can continuing saying things," Giovanni spoke.

He was so unfair.

"No!" I raised my hands in exasperation. He was irritating me. I won't just do what he said.

"No?" He asked. His face turned serious and a nervous gulp went down my throat.

"Y-Yes, that's what I said," I stuttered. I cursed myself for doing so. He was intimidating me.

"Well, you're lucky I'm not in a killing mood," he said. A cold expression in his dark green eyes.

"That's a surprise," I murmured. Bad choice. Why couldn't I just keep my mouth shut?

His lips formed a straight line and he clenched his jaw. He was angry.

He approached me and I stood still. My feet felt as if they couldn't move.

"You're going to regret that," Giovanni snarked. "Kill her."

My body shuddered. Grae's gun was once again aimed at Valeria. He was going to kill her.

"No!" I shouted at Grae. "Don't kill her, Grae. You're better than that." I tried to reason with him.

Grae looked at me, then the trembling girl in his arms. His eyes darkened. I guess, he wasn't better than that.

"Do it!" Giovanni shouted.

I quickly ran up to Grae before he could pull the trigger. "Please," I begged. My lower lip quivered and tears crawled at my eyes.

I grabbed Grae's hand where the gun was and lowered it away from her.

I looked back at Giovanni to see the same expressionless look on his face. He was hard to read.

"I'll go," I heard a weak voice squeak. Valeria spoke from Grae's embrace.

"No," I told her. "You won't go."

"Chanel, look what situation we're in, if were going to live until senior graduation we're going to have to graduate." I think that was the smartest thing she'd ever said.

"You're right," I said, "but, that doesn't give him a right to kidnap us."

"Technically it's not kidnapping considering you guys are willing to come with us," Tobias pointed out.

"Nobody asked you," I snapped at him.

I looked back at Valeria. "I guess it won't be that bad with you there."

"We'll make it fun," she whispered to me.

I laughed. "We always tend to do that everywhere we go."

"We do," she agreed.

We walked towards Giovanni's Maserati and the gangs black SUV.

I couldn't believe I was willing to go back to a murderers house.

"Wait! Where's your brother, so I can smack him for allowing you to get kidnapped," Valeria said. "Twice."

"Why is everyone calling me out today?" Derrick asked. His voice held disapproval. He sounded sad.

"Oh, there you are," Valeria said. She angrily stomped towards him, ripping her arm out of Grae's grip.

She raised her hand and slapped him across his chest. Derrick groaned in pain. "That's what you get, you're supposed to protect your sister."

Although Valeria could be real dumb sometimes she always had my back and I couldn't appreciate her more for that.

She ran up to me and linked her arm with mine. "Thank you," I said. "I'm sorry you had to go through this."

"It's fine, you're here with me now," she said. "We'll get through this."

We got into the car, Valeria going with the boys and I went with Giovanni in his Maserati. "I'm not going in the trunk," I said. There was attitude in my voice.

"Tone down with the attitude, you'll go anywhere I put you," he demanded. He thinks I would do whatever he wants me to do, but he's wrong. He doesn't own me.

"'You'll go anywhere I put you,' what? Who even says that?" I told him.

"You're getting on my nerves, princess and you know what happens to people who get on my nerves?" He warned.

"Let me guess, you kill them?" I asked, rolling my eyes.

"No, I torture them then kill them," he said, nonchalantly

"So much more practical," I mumbled under my breath.

"Don't get in, either way it's your friends life that's in danger." He got into the car and started it.

It might not be that bad to just stay here, but both of us we'll be in danger if I don't.

I sighed and got into his car. "You're an asshole," I insulted.

"What did you call me?" He shouted. I couldn't help but jump at the raise of his voice.

"I called you an asshole! Are you deaf? You're a so arrogant and think you are the boss of everything, but you're not. Just grow up," I bickered.

"You think you're any better? You act like you are the queen of everything, you act way better than everyone else. You're not in high school, you know?"

"Well at least I'm not a cold heart killer and murder people just because I enjoy it," I spat.

"You know nothing, you're just a hurt little girl who freaks out when things don't go your way," he yelled.

I shut my mouth. He knew nothing about me, or what I've been through. He had no right.

I turned my knees away from him, I faced the window. Tears formed in my eyes, but I held them in. I was done crying I was not going to let him know he got to me.

It was silent the ride back to the mansion.

I didn't want to speak to him again.
