Silence.

"What? Join your gang? You want me . . . to join your gang? You really think I'll be capable to kill someone. No! That's impossible," I rambled.

"You'll have to otherwise you're arm will be delivered by a mailman to his house, but maybe it'll be easier to just kill you and send you to him so I don't have to hear you're annoying high pitched voice," he said.

"Excuse me, I don't have a high voice. I have a sexy voice," I said.

"I'd rather just kill you," he simply said. He got up and I followed his every move. He grabbed and gun and slowly walked towards me again.

I pushed my body farther away from him as I could. My head hit the back of the chair and I couldn't move anymore.

He placed the gun between my eyes and above my nose before moving back. He pointed the gun at me and my body shook with fear. He wouldn't shoot, would he?

"Stop! You can't just kill someone who goes against you," I protested.

"Will you join the gang?" He asked, this time it was slower making sure I understood every word of what this meant.

"I don't-" I got cut off from the click of the trigger. I flinched and shut my eyes closed. I let out a throaty scream, I was going to die.

The pitched scream came out more as a sob. "Fine!" I gave in. "I-I'll join your gang, just get me out of here."

He untied the rope from my right wrist and turned his back to leave.

"Wait! What about the others?" I asked. I was panicking. How was I supposed to get out?

"Use your free hand to untie them, princess," he said. I could hear the smirk playing on his lips when he said that. I hated him.

"Oh," I said. I hadn't even realized that.

I quickly untied the other hand and rubbed the sore parts of my wrists. There was dry blood and cuts around my wrists, I hold back tears and untie my feet.

My boots were creased and ruined. My dress was totally dirty and ripped. I could only imagine how messy my hair looked right now.

My patterned Chanel jacket was the only thing that was unharmed.

I sighed in relief when I remember I had my phone in the pocket. I looked through the pockets, but I couldn't find my phone. It must've fallen out when I was running for my life.

I was stuck in this house.

I needed to escape. There was no way I would be in his gang. I would never be a killer. Ever.

I may be heartless, but I would never kill someone.

I brought my quivering knees to the stairs and walked up the stairs. My hands were shaking and I couldn't get my nerves down.

I opened the door to see them all whispering and talking.

Fluffy Head saw me first and ran towards me. "Thank God you're in one piece." He engulfed me in a hug.

I froze, but eventually gave in. I wrapped my arms back around him. "I was worried big, bad, mean, rude, horrible, merciless, ruthless, criminal gang leader, Giovanni hurt you."

Gang leader? He was a gang leader? His name was Giovanni.

Giovanni gave Fluffy Head a death glare. "Uh, I mean, handsome, perfect, awesome, happy, Gio," he corrected himself.

"Well, what's wrong? Why didn't you cut her hand off?" Grae asked. I didn't like him, not even a little bit.

Grae looked at my hand, then at Giovanni. Giovanni stared at me and back at Grae.

"She's going to be part of our gang," Giovanni said. He sounded so unamused.

"What, are you crazy, dude?" Grae asked. He didn't want me a part of the gang. "She can't even defend herself. She got herself kidnapped."

"What? I didn't get myself kidnapped. You're psychotic gang leader kidnapped me," I said. "If you're going to point fingers, point them at him. He's the one asked me to join."

"Why would you ask her out of everyone, don't you know who her family is?" Grae asked. His was trying so hard to not get me a part of his gang.

"That's exactly why I'm doing it," Giovanni answered. He seemed really tired with this conversation. I didn't blame him. I was tired as well.

"If you won't kill her," Grae said. He moved his hand to his jean pocket and took out a shiny thing. A gun. "I will!"

I jumped up and hid behind Fluffy Head. "Save me!"

"You will not harm her. She's part of the gang whether you like it or not. If you don't you can simply get out," Giovanni told Grae. Was he sticking up for me?

"Well, how old is she? Like, twelve?" Grae snickered.

"I'm not twelve!" I defended. Why do they have to say such offensive things to me? "I'm seventeen."

"Seventeen? You're literally inviting a kid in our gang," Grae continued insulting me.

"I'm not a kid!"

"It's my gang, Grae," Giovanni said. "Father told me to take over."

"That's because you were older than me," Grae said, "everyone knew that."

"I'm a year older than you," Giovanni said. "Actually, why am I fighting with you about this again?"

"Because you know I'm right," Grae said back.

Since everyone was focusing on their fighting I took this as a chance to escape. Fluffy Head and grocery store guy was trying to break apart the fight while I tip toed away from the scene and towards the front door. This house was beautiful, but I miss mine and I miss Elanese and my mother. I didn't miss my father, he was the one who got me in this situation in the first place.

I tried my hardest to keep my boots from making much noise on the ground. I needed to keep quiet if this was going to work. I reached the gold doorknob and was about to turn it when a gunshot rang through my ears. The bullet missed me by a millisecond, it skimmed my head.

I froze in shock. I couldn't even scream, my ears still rung from the gun and the shell ricocheted off the door and by my feet. The door was bullet proof all that was shown was a dent from the pressure of the bullet.

"What the hell? You could've killed me!" I shouted at them. I didn't know who shit the bullet. I then saw Giovanni with the gun in his hand, it was him.

"Don't even try to escape," he said. His voice was dangerously low. "You can't go anywhere, you already said you'd join the gang."

Why did I feel like I just sold my soul to the Devil?

"I said that because you were going to kill me, now I think you will kill me no matter what," I told him. I tried not to sound as scared as I was, but I could hear the shaking in my voice.

"In that case I will gladly kill you! Tobias take her to her room," Giovanni ordered.

"No! I was kidding, I didn't mean it." Why did I always say the wrong things?

I felt Fluffy Head grab a hold of my arm, gently. He was way make nicer than the rest of the gang. His grip wasn't as hard as Giovanni's was.

"Boss, I'm not sure which room is hers?" Fluffy Head, who I supposed was Tobias, said.

"Mine is fine," he simply said. His? There is no way I'm going into a bedroom alone with him. I struggled against Tobias's grip.

"Let me go, I'm not going into his room, with him," I said. I was panicking, there was no way I would sleep with him. They ignored me and Tobias brought me near the stairs. "I'm not going," I said, stubbornly.

"Would you just go upstairs," Giovanni snapped. It seemed as if I was getting on his nerves.

I smirked. "No!"

"Fine then you asked for it." Giovanni approached and grabbed me from Tobias's grasp.

I tried to get away, but I couldn't he had a good grip on me.

"I'm not going into a bedroom with you alone." I choked on tears. I turned my gaze to Derrick. He knew what happened to me, he was the one who found me.

"Chanel," Derrick said, softly. He seemed to understand what I meant. "Not everyone is like him," he assured me.

"How do you know?" A sob escaped my mouth, no matter how hard I tried to keep it in. I covered my face with the palm of the hand which Giovanni wasn't holding onto. The bad memories replayed in my brain. They still hadn't found the guy who did that to me.

Derrick embraced me in a hug and Giovanni eventually let go of me. I wrapped my arms around him and cried softly in his arms. "I don't know why he did it? What did I even do to him?" I asked, pathetically. Although it came out muffled from my head in his shoulder.

Derrick hushed me. "You did nothing, it wasn't your fault and you know that Chanel." He rubbed my back. My cries slowly died down, small hiccups and gasps escaped my lips. I wiped my eyes with the back of my small hands and backed away from Derrick.

I felt embarrassed that the whole gang witnessed my breakdown.

"How about you sleep in my room tonight, is that okay?" Derrick asked me, his voice was soft and quiet. I nodded my head. Derrick looked up at Giovanni for permission. He seemed hesitant at first, but eventually said yes.

"Perfect, go up there and I'll be right there, I just need to grab blankets," he said. "It's the room on the left."

I gave him a weak, "okay," and walked up the stairs. There were so many rooms, but I entered the one on the left. It revealed a white sheeted king bed and a dark wooden dresser. There was a closet and a bathroom.

I took off my boots and placed them neatly beside the door. I make my way towards the bathroom and slipped my dirty dress off. I turned the shower on and hoped in, soaking into the warm water.

He could only guess what had happened to her. The rest of the gang did their normal routine and Derrick was with Giovanni in his office.

"I'm not sure if it's my place to tell," Derrick said. "I don't think she will want me too. She seems tough, but she's not, she's really sensitive and is couscous of everything."

Giovanni didn't know if he wanted the assurance of what he thought had happened to the poor girl. He couldn't even believe people have that in them. He wanted her to tell him, but he was still selfish.

"I'm glad you didn't chop her hand off though," Derrick let out a breath of relief. She would for sure never talk to her brother again, she wouldn't even look at him.

"I wasn't going to chop her hand off," Giovanni said. "That's ferocious."

"What was she even doing in that part of town anyway?" Derrick asked.

"Luke said she went to his store to buy ice cream," Giovanni answered. He sat in his chair and thought about the past hours. It hasn't even been a full day and he was already so stressed out. How could he have been so careless that he had to kidnap a teenage girl?

"Do you think she'll be good in the gang?" Derrick asked. He was curious to what this seventeen girl could be capable of. "I don't think she could handle killing someone, I mean, she can be a heartless bitch, but she'd never kill anyone."

Giovanni felt more stressed with that, what would he do with the girl? He couldn't let her go and risk his cover. He couldn't go back to jail, again.

"I don't know," Giovanni snapped. "Quit asking so many questions." He was getting annoyed and stressed out. Everything got him off edge, especially the girl who got under his skin.

"Okay, man, calm down, I'm going to go," Derrick said. He left Giovanni's office and grabbed blankets, heading towards his room where his sister was sleeping, peacefully on the bed.

Giovanni was left awake, not knowing what to do.
