《Balance(Bakugo x fem! Avatar reader)》Chapter 1

Long ago, The Avatar was a norm amongst people of the world. They would be the one to keep peace and prosperity with everyone.
Back then, only a handful of people could have the ability to manipulate one of the four main elements of the world. Earth, Fire, Air, and Water.
The Avatar, on the other hand, could bend all the elements and even had a spirit of peace in their very being.
No one knows why, but The Avatar was never reborn and millennia after millennia, the world began to forget about The Avatar and fell into chaos.
Soon enough, the ability to bend the elements no longer was possible and the legend of The Avatar ceased to exist.
Then, after many years, new abilities showed up. They became known as the"quirks".
However, even though some people have the ability to manipulate similar things to the elements, it was never close to the ancient ways.
That is when, two people from a small village, came to the local sages. They still knew about the Avatar, and their daughter showed signs of being it.
The girl didn't have the traits that someone with a quirk would have but, she had the ability to manipulate the four elements.
That made the priests sure that she was the one. After all these years, for some reason, the Avatar finally returned.
**************
"Stay calm and focus." The elder priest said.
The young girl took a deep breath and got into a fighting position and there was stillness, then her opponent struck.
They threw weapons and rocks at the girl who dodged the weapons, took a stance and crumbled the rocks.
She held out her hands and pulled water from the nearby puddles and used the water to knock down her enemies.
They got back up and circled her. They launched at the girl and she jumped into the air causing them to crash into each other.

The girl shot fire to move in the air and landed in a different spot from her opponents.
As they were down, she brought the earth beneath them up and solidified it, trapping them and preventing them from moving.
Finishing her fight, she brings her arms in and rests her stance, exhaling.
"Perfect form! Practice like that and you will be ready to let the world know who you are!" A sage exclaimed.
"Don't say that! She still has a lot to learn before anyone can know who she is!" Another one said.
The eldest sage approached the girl.
"You are doing very well, Young Avatar. You have made wonderful progress." They said.
This made the girl smile.
"Thank you, " she responded and bowed.
"(Y/n)! You were amazing!" A voice called her. She looked over to see her father, who looked like a kid watching his favorite superhero.
Maybe it's just that, both of (Y/n)'s parents don't have quirks so to have a daughter that just so happens to be a lost legend of ancient times, it is quite incredible.
(Y/n) smiles brightly and turns back to the elder sage.
"Perhaps it is time." He says.
*****Later****
It was after dinner and the sage called (Y/n) and her family to the temple of their town.
"As you know, Avatar (Y/n) has made progress in mastering the four elements. However, she is not yet ready to let the world know that she is a powerful being yet." The elder says.
"So, we have decided, That Avatar (Y/n) should travel to Japan, to study in the most prestigious hero school. The number one hero even went there." Another said.
That took (Y/n) by surprise but her parents reacted immediately.
"That sounds like an amazing idea!" Her mother exclaims. "My daughter, going to school where the symbol of peace once went to," She puts her hand on her face in excitement.

"Ah, it's too good to be true!" Her father adds and does the same thing.
"Mom...Dad...." (Y/n) says in slight embarrassment. Even though she gets embarrassed by her parents at times, she's glad to have such supportive parents by her side.
"So....I guess I should get ready. Moving to Japan to go to school is a big deal." (Y/n) says with a shrug.
"You will leave tomorrow morning, then you will have ten months before the entrance exam. That will give you enough time to get yourself acquainted with the town." The priest continued.
(Y/n) stood and bowed.
"Thank you for teaching me for all these years, and for trusting me to go on my own." She says.
"It was our honor, the world has fallen into imbalance. More and more villains are appearing. The world needs you so you need to train to do so. You can learn much more than we can teach you." The sage says.
(Y/n) smiles and she leaves her excited parents following.

He repeated, growing more concerned with every passing moment."No," her voice was barely a whisper, and she threw her arms around him, her lips colliding with his. The towel slipped from her body and she no longer cared. All she cared about was the taste of him, the feeling of his hands on her skin, the smell of his short brown hair. She wrapped herself around him on the bathroom floor, and she was fully prepared to give into temptation when he stopped her."Mira," he pushed up on her hips, her name a groan on his lips. "Wait." She lifted herself off of him, a bolt of rejection striking through her like lightning. She sat up grabbing for the towel. "Sorry," she said, feeling destroyed with embarrassment."I just want to make sure you didn't hit your head," he chuckled a little, holding out a hand to tuck her wet strands of hair behind her ear."I'm fine," she said.
