《The Fight For Love | Original Version ✓》9 | who are you?

and I was starving, so I headed to the cafeteria. Unsurprisingly, the second that I walked in, everything went completely silent.
I ignored all of the stares coming my way until I got into line because everyone just went back to what they were doing. Then I bought a sandwich and a bottle of water.
After paying for my lunch, I turned towards the lion's den, also known as the cafeteria and a place where outsiders are not welcome. I don't care about the rules of the school that the populars made though, so I start looking for a table.
There's only two empty tables and they're both in the very back. Perfect.
Walking to the one furthest from everybody, I sit down before putting my headphones in, turning on my favorite music to block out everything and everyone from the outside world.
I pulled my hood down a bit further to hide my face from everyone. As I sat there, eating my sandwich and tapping my foot to the beat of the music with my eyes closed, someone suddenly pulled the headphones out of my ears.
What the fuck? I'm furious, nobody takes my headphones out.
I almost completely forgot where I was at because I was about to flip my shit on whoever thought interrupting me was a good idea. "Aye! What the fu... u-uh umm, c-can I have my h-headphones back?" I asked quickly, trying to cover up the fact that I almost cursed right in front of them.
Looking up, I see the three amused faces of Rosemoor High School's most beloved bad boys. Although, what really caught my attention was the smirk on Ryder's face as he held up my headphones.
His smirk drew my eyes to the bottom of his face like a magnet and that was when I saw it...
A huge bruise.
I hadn't paid much attention to him earlier, but in this moment, all I could do was stare at the massive bruise on his jaw because I knew that I was the one to give it to him in last night's fight. As soon as my lips turned up into a smirk, no matter how much I tried not to, his immediately fell.
His confusion made me inwardly laugh since I knew that he has no clue that a girl was the one to give him that bruise. Also, that I was that girl.
"Please?" I asked as they all began to sit down in the empty chairs at the table, surrounding me.

The left side of his mouth tugged upwards, creating a sinister smirk on his god-like face as he said, "No."
"W-why not?" I seriously hated this fake stutter.
Ryder was beginning to really get on my nerves, despite how much I liked to look at his beautiful face. It was like... Every word, movement, and breath he made irritated me to no end.
"Because we want to get to know you first." Yeah right, I had to hold back rolling my eyes.
I tried my best not to have eye-contact with him so that my act would seem more real, especially since he's apparently supposed to be really intimidating. In all honesty, if I wasn't who I am now, I'd probably be intimidated by him too.
"O-okay," I reply as my eyes scan the room around us, taking notice that everyone is watching us.
"Alright Anastasia," he says, putting emphasis on my name for some unknown reason, "We're going to ask you a couple questions and if you answer them truthfully, then you can have your headphones back."
Damn, I really want to give him a bruised eye to match his jaw. Hopefully, he's going to be at the fight tonight so that I can beat him again.
Maybe this time he'll be more of a challenge since he knows a little more of what to expect from me.
After nodding my head at what they said, the questions began. Truthfully, I am sort of wondering what they want to know about me.
"Who are you?" Ryder asks as they all lean in closer. What do they mean by that? There's no way that they could be onto me already.
They all glanced at each other, having a silent conversation with each other after I replied, "Anastasia S-stone."
This feels so much like an interrogation...
All three of them make a "Hmm" sound before Carson asks, "What's your middle name?"
"I don't have one." Only a select few people actually know that I have a middle name, it's too dangerous for people to know who I truly am.
If I told them that my true name was Anastasia Raylynn Martinez-Stone, they'd definitely get suspicious. Especially because they're from my families enemy gang.
Nobody outside of my dad's gang knows that I'm a member. Ryder & the guys must've done their research because it seemed as if they already knew everything I was telling them. Even though they looked me up, the only thing they could find is what my dad had someone put in my file.

If anyone from outside of our gang looks me up in government documents or whatever, they will get no trace of me being related to my dad. My file says that Kai's dad, also known as my stepdad, is my biological father so that I can't be traced to my dad's gang.
Everyone thinks that girls are weak and useless when it comes to gangs, but truthfully we're better at doing some things that simply aren't possible for the guys and that's an advantage for us. Currently, everyone thinks that there are no girls in any gang around here, but damn are they wrong.
My parents were never married, but they were high school sweethearts and my mom had me at 17-years-old. Everyone thought that they'd last, but they didn't and that's okay because it never ruined their friendship or bond.
Ever since I was little, my dad has taught me to fight. Although, when my parents broke up and stopped living together, I didn't get to see my dad as much due to his work. When I did get to see him though, he'd always show me a new way of defending myself.
Even though I wasn't that big, in my mind, I was fat. I probably had an average weight, but when everyone calls you fat... Well, you start to believe them.
Since I didn't see my dad often, that meant I trained and fought less, so naturally, I started gaining weight.
When I was about 10-years-old, I begged my dad to let me fight against one of his good fighters and I was able to take him down. I felt bad and I think I hurt his ego because I was 4'11 while he was 5'9.
Shockingly, I did better than I thought I was going to do because this guy actually looked scary with how in shape he was. My dad told him not to go easy, but I know he did because if he followed my dad's orders and hurt me in any way, then my dad would've hurt him.
I think that I had an advantage because I was so much smaller than him and was able to move more swiftly with great speed around his body.
He got a good punch to my stomach and side though, before I pulled a sneaky move. Technically, my dad mainly taught me self-defense and he didn't say that there were any rules for this fight, so with as much strength that I could get, I kicked him right where the sun doesn't shine.
Bad move? I don't think it was because I was just defending myself from getting hit anymore.
He fell to the ground, clutching the front of his shorts in pain from the kick, so I went over there and began punching him until eventually my dad pulled me away, ending the fight.
I think it's safe to say that won because even as I left the room, the guy I fought was still on the ground in pain.
This girl has got one hell of a kick so them boys better watch out.
The day of the fight was the last day I got to spend with my dad for a while since he had to leave town for some business.
Now, I'm sitting here with three guys that I could probably beat up even if they attacked me all at once and they're using my headphones to get information out of me... Like seriously, I have other headphones.
"Okay, why are you pretending to be a nerd?" Ryder asked and in that precise moment, my breath got caught in the back of my through, even thought I didn't show it.
"I u-um don't know what y-you're talking about," I say, worried that he's aware of my actual identity.
"We think you do," says Reece right before the bell rings cutting off my reply and saving me from anymore questioning... For now.
I sprang up and out of my seat the moment that the bell went off. Unlucky for me, someone blocked my way just as I was about to leave.
"Don't you need your headphones?" Carson asked while a smirking Ryder stood next to him, holding them up.
I rushed past them and out of the cafeteria after I replied, "No."
Let's hope I can avoid the guys for the rest of the day because if I could, all I have to say is... Thank god for that.
